Is the escalating trade war between China and the USA advantageous to the cryptocurrency sector?

Investors typically pile into gold as a natural hedge against macro economic unrest and data shows a correlation between the number of gold and bitcoin positions on its platform. This could suggest more retail investors are starting to view bitcoin as a store of value." - The London Economic

There is no correspondence over the growth of bitcoin with the trade war happening between USA and China. As there is a big war getting out of the limits, more trades will get diversified to neighboring countries. China being a big economy when avoided with USA products there'll be market fall with USA and same is the scenario with China. This to be more attractive to users in one way, that is the increase in bitcoin usage. Following the trade war I believe more fiat transactions will get stopped moving to cryptocurrency.

If I'm not wrong this could happen which is the base for the widespread about cryptocurrency in t growing technology dependent world.
