The U.S. State Department is obsessed with Bitcoin if you look the picture in they announcement you can see all over Bitcoins: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EDoRla2XsAAbM0f.jpg (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EDoRla2XsAAbM0f.jpg)

Sounds like a pretty interesting idea.

But the thing with bitcoin was totally due to some intern at the Department of state throwing a couple of pictures together and posting them online with the tweet, this doesn't signify that the US government like BTC or any crazy conspiracy like that (I know many of you would try to connect those crazy far dots)

That's interesting and enticing offer. Someone is going to come for it pretty soon, and that person may be from the Iranian ruling class. Trust not everyone is happy with the government and this could be their opportunity to get back at the government.

Bitcoin has made it more difficult to track the financial activities of different terrorist organizations. That's the only one downside of Cryptocurrency.
