Why the limits for crypto-on-crypto swap are so high? Disclamer: this post may seem full of hate

Hey guys.
I may be a total noob, but why the limits for swaping on crypto exhangers are so high? What if I want to test service on efficiency, why should I even think of the minimum amount of an exhange?
For example, on changelly crypto-on-crypto swap begins with 0.0003 BTC. Why not less and is there a reason users needed to be limited like that?

That amount is only 3 dollars.  Do you really want to exchange less than a dollar can fees can sometimes be up to a dollar when the network is congested?  If its really that big of an issue for you find someone here on the forum to help you exchange your coins.

this is way very low trading limit that you can't find on other big exchanges in crypto space today, to me changelly trading limit is the best offer so far, trade ogre and shapeshift follows, sorry pal you can't find anything lower than this

I think not all exchanges require this, you can get an exchange that is a sign of minimum requirements to make an exchange, please look for it

What are you possibly trying to test?
The main reason for the limit is of course the transaction fees. There's a fees related to transacting one coin to another, and as exchanges like Changelly needs two transactions for every step, anything around $1 would yield nothing as a transaction may go upto 50 cents.

Another reason here is the limited resources of exchanges. Exchanges are one of the most stressed websites both in traffic and working of the exchange software. If allowed to transact low, there could be millions of requests of insignificant amount that would act as a DDOS for the exchange software raising the activity without any proper profit for the exchange.

Unless network fees are reduced, expect the same exchange rate to continue. It's also what you pay for the service they offer. Instead of ranting about it, you can try other methods that are cheaper for you.

There is no hate that should come from your post. You only want to know why it costs approximately $3 to swap cryptocurrency. I think $3 is relatively low for a straight swap. Maybe in future when there is more competition from newer exchanges the fees will be relatively lesser.

That limit isn't high, if you think it's too high for you then find another exchange to use.

I don't find it very low but maybe it may be high for you. But you need to understand several factors why they have to keep that limit. And it's also known by most that the network fees varies from time to time.

So they are not liable for any surge or change for those limits.  I think if you want to test them out, it's worth to try with that amount but there are other ways that you can to verify their accuracy and that's reading several opinions, views and experiences about that exchange.
