Im trying to bring some referrals under my on 3 exchanges at the moment, is anyone doing this? did you made any $$?

Before I'm into referrals or affiliate marketing but not related to crypto. I made but that isn't too high because profit on referrals isn't really that much and stable.

A personality who's known for his activities can benefit from referrals as long as his activities are helpful, people would love to sign under his referral.

Now some of these airdrop programs are really ridiculous. There are exchanges that not only do not return tokens to the referrer but also do not notify them for any reason.
I hate airdrop types about exchanges, so I don't join them anymore.

I only considering doing this depends on what type of benefits or rewards should I get.

For example, here in our local exchange, we can earn up to $1.45 per successful referrals who will sign-up and undergo KYC. And the fact that our local exchange is increasing popularity here, that is an advantage.

And take note that earning commissions from referrals do have terms. It's not as simple as your referrals will sign-up under you then that's it.

Yeah right, to be an affiliate in a platform does sometimes require a variety of requirements, most of referrals are required to register and trade to extent to get a commission. And in my opinion this is indeed quite difficult, maybe it is easy if we already have a customer base such as through YouTube education channels, telegram channels, Facebook groups, blogs. But if we don't have it, it will be very difficult because there is no media for promotion except spamming.

Exchange referrals are usually mostly shared by crypto-related websites, because it's one of the most effective ways of actually spreading referral links. Don't expect people and websites to promote your website for referrals if your website itself's bonus is not-so-good though, and especially if your exchange isn't good to start with. The reason why a lot of people are sharing their Binance referral links is because Binance is actually a good exchange, and the bonuses are great.

Yes I did in Kucoin when Kucoin was just starting out, I just wrote a blog about Kucoin and their features and profit-sharing and post it to all my Facebook groups and pm my friends about Kucoin, my earning is not that big I earn a percentage coming from their trading, but unfortunately I don't have a whale in my list, so I'm not really making big referral income.

I think to blog about something you want to promote is great compared to just sending your referral links, they will thank you and readily sign up because they can understand just by reading what the program is offering.

I believe you mean trusted and well-known personalities could do the affiliate marketing thing more profitably than regular people.
Did you consider building your trust first and see if you get more clicks/patronage? You should try having a niche and becoming a honest "expert" in that niche.
 If you keep sharing posts that help lots of people and you share your referral links one day, I bet you will be patronized by lots of those people especially the ones who enjoy what you do. You must never share something that will turn out to be scam else you lose many of your customers. You have to thoroughly research every product before sharing it and make sure you start with cheap products and  gradually move to sharing costly products once in awhile.
Make sure you understand exactly what your customers within your niche need.




    

I have seen a few exchanges which offer Referral bonus for referring users to their site. They offer Bitcoins or Altcoins as a referral bonus. You can earn few coins from that.

This was a thing in 2017, large exchanges like Kucoin and Binance has some sort of referral if I'm not mistaken (I don't know if they still does up to this day). But the problem is that there are a lot of exchanges popping around that you can refer to anyone, but there is still the question of trust. People would rather trade on a exchange which has a lot of liquidity and volume. Besides, there's a lot of bad connotation about newly built exchange specially if we are going to talk about exit scams.

Any referral system is very hard, in my opinion. It will take years before you established yourself and get some referrals. And based on what I've noticed, those guys have a website to attract potential referrals. I'm not doing it because I know I'm not good at it. But if you have plans to make this your moneypot, at least a good website and make crypto trading platform reviews and then insert your referral link.

In the early I am trading on local exchanges, I ask some of the friends to join under me, and gladly, they agree to do that, and they register it in the next day. Yes, I am making some additional income from them because they are deposit a big amount in that exchange, so I get some amount to as a reward. But then, I don't continue to search the referral because I don't invite the other friends to join in under me.

You can try that to gain more revenue from your friends but remember you need to explain to them how to trade. And you can also tell them that you will get some income from them if they deposit so they will do that with the other friends that want to join in under them.

I have a few on binance and yes it works. Made some beer money already but they stopped trading a while ago. Especially one of them used to make good money for me.

It is hard to gain them though. You need to have some social media accounts with many followers. Even then it is still not guaranteed.

The referral system works best on Binance. On some other exchanges, sometimes there are problems with payments or there are cases when a person registered using my referral link but he did not become my referral. Try to order advertising in different cryptocurrency telegram channels and place your referral link there. In this way, I received several referrals, but the problem is that it is difficult to find a referral who will trade in large volumes, otherwise you will receive a penny from referral deductions.

I don't have. Don't have community or something that have a lot of followers. And for referrals, in my place there are no big players so i never think about refferals. But maybe if someone have large community, it is worth to ask other to be refferals as long both really help each others. But wouldn't work if people that we asked not use our referrals, in my community sometime when people share new exchange, they delete referral code.  ;D

you better focus on your trading. the referral options pays very little and nothing much to gain from it. referrals are beneficial from ponzi schemes.  if you need to make your money from referrals, then join ponzi platform and top level programs that wants crowd to survive.

i saw on binance that the nr 1 affiliate has made over 1600 btc onlly from the referral program!!! im at my 129 referral on binance at this point hope i can get to 500 untill the end of the year

I have a lot of people on binance. I was lucky enough to be an admin of a huge telegram group when the binance craze started so I was lucky enough to pin my affiliate link there and suddenly there was tens of people joining right away and then I removed it because people were getting mad that I put my own instead of just information regarding it and was utilizing my position.

However, about 80 people joined under me and around 10-15 of them were active and I still have about 5 active people. Now they are no whales or anything but every month that brings me about 40-50 dollars, about 10 bucks a person, which is a nice little profit, it definitely is not a salary like thing but at least its better than nothing. Depending on how much you will invest into this idea then you gotta know its a long long game.

I don't think that is a Ponzi scheme because as long as we can join in the recommended exchange like binance, we can get the additional income which we can use for trading or withdraw. I see that many people, including my friends, have raised their balance from the referrals programs because they can attract new people to join in binance. But I don't make a good income in binance because I am not too good to invite people to join in under me.

Both of you are right, with giving the referrals to others, we can make some additional income which will give us another benefit from the exchange.
The referral bonus will attempt to the members to search more people to join.
It is hard to compete to search the referral, especially if we don't know how the strategy to do that.
Sharing the information on the website and add the referral link still be a good method which many people still using for now because every day the website has many visitors who visit and read. So if they are interested, they directly to click the site and join.

Exactly mate, i could not blaming op but refferal  marketing system in my own experience is harder to earn coins or tokens especially airdrops.

I have several hundred referrals on one exchange, but most of them probably did not make any trade. One small percentage actively traded so I get very nice referral commission for some time, but these days almost all of them are not active.

In order to get some decent number of referrals you need to invest some money on promotion, it can be done for free via social media or by promoting in signature, but the greater the exposure, the greater will be results. The key is not to give up with promotions and to get new refs every day, we never know when a referral will become inactive for whatever reason.

Undoubtedly, this is a very good way of making a passive profit, much easier than trading.

Yeah, I am also doing that dude but not seriously focusing in it. Probably, you are lucky if someone signup in the exchange using your referral
link then deposit a huge amount to that platform, for sure you will receive to your wallet a good earnings too. The more people signup in the exchange using your referral link is the more you have a chance to earn in the end.

I usually share my refferal code from an exchanges, but sometime maybe people like to delete refferal code and make account by themself. I think about promotion like that, i just do what i do. Only share without adding or reducing promotion content or promise something to prospective referrals. Maybe people think if it not give them advantages, they wouldn't join with refferal link.

Earning money from referrals can give a nice income if we have an active people under us. But most of them are only active in the 3 months early, and then they will not trade for a long time. But yes, having much of referrals will give benefits to us, especially if they can be active. I think it's not easy to search for people who want to join us. To solve this, you need to spread your referral link into many places, so you can get many people who will join in under you.

I've referred people to the exchanges I've used, but no, even if I spent time promoting it, I doubt I'd make much. The ref structure isn't really built to really incentivise it IMO -- and after all I've spent years in my youth trying all kinds of referral programmes (some worked, some didn't none were personally fulfilling).

I will say that some exchanges like Binance gave out a lot of BNB for referrals, and I have heard of people who made not-so-small fortunes when BNB incredibly reached $30 (did it even go higher maybe?). I wonder if that model still works and if exchanges still try it? I'm sure they do.

There are situations where people deleted the referral code and make an account for themselves but exchange referral reward are just like faucet reward and the referral systems is only good for website owner which will use the exchange site banner as well.

For sure there are affiliate marketers out there on making money out of people that had been invited but they don't tend to publicize it out.
Gambling or on exchange affiliating or any other related sites does have this invite incentives.You can really make money out of it but

I did in some exchange. Is it really make $$ ? it's depend on your refferal, i got good refferal so i made money from them. If they are use exchange continously maybe you can get little money, but if they only register and never trade on the exchange so you will got nothing.

Some new exchange offer few coin to bring customer on their exchange, you but to get your refferal need to pass KYC. I never reffer to untrusted and brand new exchange because i dont want make my follower disapointed

Most of us using the paid signature in this forum so it is not possible them to leave their referral links here but there is no worries if you are doing so.

It will really be just the same but bonuses or earnings can be classified according to their terms.
Some do base on referral deposit earnings, trading volume earnings, Kyc verified earnings.
For sure making money on this way is possible.It might not be too rampant or obvious but pretty sure
that there were people who do focus on affiliating things it might easy as it sounds but actually hard to be
done yet inviting people is not my genre.  ;D

Currently I only do bounty and do not want to involve airdrop programs. It's really hard because if you want to make a lot of money, you have to cheat a lot and sometimes, you're discovered and your effort is 0.
I would say no to the cheat, it's too complicated for me and the exchanges don't pay a high price for the reward.

the op is not talking about bounty or airdrops but he only mention referal on exchanges  . airdrops are totally different from a referal program .

@ op  , you should first check if the exchange that you are using are have a referal bonus but if not then its not possible to earn or to have a referal link   . the idea of referal programs are i think verry bad because it will only be abused by fake accounts but farming for referals for your own sake is also hard and seem to be impossible to do  , same as recruiting real people to join you   .

I have some luck with the paxful affiliate program it has 2 levels of referrals(tiar 1 - 50% tiar 2- 10%) im trying to scale things up but onlly made 400$ this month!

I have referred 6 people on the crex24 exchange, unfortunately I haven't made a single satoshi out of them!

However, I have referred a lot of people to thecryptofaucet (around 10 last time I checked) and I make 1-5 doges a day passively from them. It's not much, but it's honest work.

I did but it doesn't give me much profit since my referrals aren't that active traders. It's not worth it since I don't benefit from the potential of every trade they'll make because of that. There are a lot of exchange that allows you to get commision for every trade of your verified referrals. This is a great way to make profit in crypto when you know someone who can be active traders.

Yeah it is not big commission you get, I guess you need to focus in trading because you will get more money or profit to that instead of focusing to the referral commission that you possible you get. They exchange that offer commission to every trader who register under you but the percentage is very little and even you have more referrals it doesn't mean that you get big profit from them.

Don't rely too much on the benefits of referrals, because the profits are very small especially if you only have a few referrals. It's okay if you consider it as a bonus, if you are a trader then focus on the trades that you do. don't focus too much on how to get lots of referrals, you're not marketing dude, you're a trader. The fact that you need a huge amount of refferal, or if you lucky a big boy will sign up with your refferal link. If not, the earned money just the pennies. But if you have ability, you can create an article about that exchanges and post on the affiliate blogs, then use SEO to push it on the top search results on google.

That's very nice ideas there mate, if you are looking for more benefits from your referrals you also needs to add some spice from how it works for you, creating video tutorials about he exchanges and give good guidance on how the platform will be usable. Chance to have many signups and many newcomers to use your referrals. It will be depends from how you will treated this opportunities and take your chances to earned.

I have a few referrals in Yobit, and the amount earned from their transactions there is very little. To make real money from referrals commissions you have to be a real marketer and to have tens of active referrals at least.
It is not an easy mission, because with the actual market situation, getting new people into the crypto exchanges and platforms is very hard.

Yes, it's what I am doing. By create such turtorial and an introductory article about the exchange, then make it op the top search result, you will have many organic refferals when they first searching about that exchange, and you can earn a decent passive income.

I am not really famous and like to do solo trading. That is why i never share my refferal link. But from what i see, in my country someone can get a lot of amount money from refferal reward and he usually do giveaway to people.

Are you talking about the referral system? I'm not the type of person who likes to teach people to be in the same exchange as me. somewhat uncomfortable when doing it, even with rewards. And I'm not the type of person who will accept the responsibility of an affliate program.
From some of the people I ask, it only produces a few and not a lot, the average system requires that the person you refer to do a deposit and you only get a percentage of the deposit. beginner deposit problems are only a few and not directly many.

I did make some money with referrals, but i was lucky enough to be among the first users on one altcoin exchange before couple wealthy online friends joined with my ref code.
Ref codes didn't make me rich though and those whales were already on all the biggest exchanges, and they like to stick to them.
Maybe if you were lucky enough to join the next upcoming new binance replacement before anyone else you know, you would have a change to make money but right now i wouldn't count on them.

If the referrals were mandatory way to sign up, or you were a famous youtube influencer then perhaps there would be some money in them.

It's not about quantity, but more about quality.
It's good if you have around 50% active traders on your referrals but it would be a bit useless if most of your referrals are passive users (not a loss though)

I also have some referrals but on my local exchange, not many but I we try to stay connect each other by sharing information and trading together for a win-win solution.

Yes on Yobit I was a member there since 2015 I used to be active on that campaign back 2015, I have a total of 33 referrals and I received 20% of their trade but unfortunately, I'm not really earning from those 33 referrals only 5000 sats a week, maybe because most of my referrals stopped or not trading a huge amount, but compare to faucets it's much better because it is residual.

As far i remember i never spread my refferal code to the public so probably i never get any refferals active under me and indeed some of exchange give decent comissions for the refferals we got and if those who sign up under us and very active traders it can be passive income and extra income to us 

I don't have any referrals with me too. Though I know many of exchanges and wallets do provide referral bonus. It just that if Im not sure if the exchange will not have any error. I don't want to be blame so I'll keep it private especially if a new exchange.  Maybe if I'm sure about the exchange and reward and have some colleagues who's willing to risk in trading then that's the only time I can use my referral codes.

Referral links aren't allowed unless it came from the signature. You might get banned for doing such things.

if the friend you bring has a lot of trading capital then it can generate a few $ for you but if the friend you bring doesn't have too much trading capital then it can't generate profit for you.

As far as I know the people who make money from trading platforms' affiliate programs are eithet marketing professionals and know how to target quality people that are really interested in trading - usually people with money because you as an affiliate earn money based on the trading volume of your referrals.

Besides that there are the established traders and opinion influencera on youtube or different channels. They also attract targeted audiences

Join affiliates only on the top exchanges, I think you know that exchange. But here the problem is do you have a customer base? are you a famous person if you are not within that criteria then you will be difficult to make money from affiliate programs.

Just look, most people who join the affiliate program among YouTubers, bloggers, forum moderators / group chat, etc. Well, you should build a customer base first before starting it, unless you want to try being a spammer.

Even if I have accounts on many exchanges I've never bothered asking for referrals. I don't see the self benefit of this and if you really want to earn in trading you will do it yourself and not depend on your invites from your referral. I never heard of someone that earned some decent amount from his referral in an exchange.

But if you are referring a whale who do daily trades with huge amount, you will also be earning nice. I have used referrals but since all of them are only trading sometimes or even seldom, I am not earning much from them. I do not even notice whether I made an earning or not. So if you are only referring users who are just like you, trying to earn by way of referrals, that is not worth it. But if there is a one-time payment for every referral then that is a clear earning for you. These are usually low reward though.

I have done it at its peak on binance and I can tell you it doesn't worth it as much as people think it does.

It all depends on who you bring and not how many people you bring, I have brought maybe 20+ people (registered 30+ but some of them didn't traded at all) and only 1 or 2 people actually made me some money, all others traded a bit and usually either stopped or left to another exchange, people who do not trade properly and just rarely do not make you any money, there is about 100 bucks I made from 20+ people in the end whereas I probably made as much from just 2 people and probably even more money from those people.

One of them traded like crazy every single day for months and just that made more than the other 20+ to be honest, so it is not about how many people you have as affiliate, it is about WHO you have as your affiliate.

Quantity doesn't really matter if those referrals aren't trading.As said quality or on how those referrals do trading is the most important thing.
Even if you do have one person but its a whale one then expect for profits without even doing something is there.Rather than having 100+ without
having any trading activity at all. Money or profit making on affiliate is plausible which it will just depend on whome you do referred.

In exchange yes its possible to earn ,but all of your earning will be depend on what your referral trade so if the referal you invited  is not actively doing trading this is just a waste of time and you will earn nothing from it. Your job in affliate program is not only finding a person to register but make sure that they also trade so your time will not be wasted.

continue to actively assist people who use your referrals, the profits will continue. Most people fail because they are limited to profit targets for themselves, or they/refs are no longer active after registering, I've experienced it. There are a number of exchanges that offer cashback programs for both parties, I think this is good for profitable symbiosis.

Be sure to be active and always updated, and they will bring good things to introduce their friends to follow your offer.

participants process the KYC and make the account verified but unlike exchange it's only one time bonus rewards after you received it there's nothing
to earned from the site. Imagine if you can invite and convinced people, it's a free penny for small works.

if you invite your friends at the exchange place, you should be as selective as possible if you invite trading at the exchange place with the referrals method with people who really have trading capital, you can give direction to him to keep doing instant trading so you can get a lot benefit from your friends if you do that. if your friend does not have trading capital then it is difficult to be able to benefit from your friends

See a lot of people on Twitter shilling ref links, doubt they actually make any substantial profit on it, unless they are lucky. If you're an influencer with a lot of followers, it can really add up.

Inviting "friends" will never work, you have only so many friends plus how many rich friends could you have? In the end that number is limited unless you are friends with bill gates who wants to spend a few million to test crypto trading somehow which is unlikely because if you are friends with him you would already take advantage of that friendship more than a freaking affiliate link.

However, if you manage to market the link to strangers online then you may end up with a lot more money but you can't just post your link here and there and hope for the best, that only works if you are the top advertisement on google and that requires more money than you make honestly (tried) so I would say sell something related to crypto but make sure you give a promotion code for everyone who signs up with your link and use that as discount, it works wonders.

I completely agree with your opinion, since I have already encountered such a situation when I provided a link for registration to several people, after which they undoubtedly registered, but apparently deleted the referral code when filling in the data.  I made sure that the distribution of links for a referral is not profitable, because in most cases new users believe that they will be taken from them to pay interest to the owners of the referral link.

I don't really like to seduce people to use my affiliate program. in my opinion it's troublesome if those under me keep asking. I'm the type of person who prefers not to involve others, while I can do it myself. The affiliate program gives us a small profit, while the exchanger gets a lot of profit.

in this case paxful is the best affiliate program, with 3k referrals on lev 1 and 2 i can easily reach 3k per month!

I wonder if it will cost that much per day, I'd been doing referrals from a wallet with exchange but it didn't cost that much around $10 in a week  since there is a need for some verification before I receive the reward. Though if you have many friends will sign up under your referral numbers then it can be that price. I'm always thankful when there are people who referred me in transaction in my business, if only I can ask hem to sign up in exchanges but its not easy to indulged them in crypto it's too risky.

There are very few commissions you can get in refferals and you may find it difficult to find referals because not everyone uses trading,
But exchanges also have a contest where all you have to do is invite. And I have a suggestion for you if you know about trading why don't you teach it to those who don't already know so they will have interest and also trade with your refferal.

Earning from Referral is free money.In 2017 when I start crypto trade I made 3 referral in mercatox and earned only 15$ till now.there are not daily traders nor big traders that's why my earning is low.If you referral is daily and big trader then you can earn good amount of money.But Now I don't try to make referral in any exchanger because they are not big trader and I don't want to waste my time.

I'm currently not participating in any affiliate programs but consider doing it in the future. The exchange I use (if interested, it's CEX.IO) has its affiliate program, which allows to earn 30% from inviting users or friends to the exchange. But without this program I'd recommend this platform as it's easy to navigate and a good place for both buying cryptos with cards or wires or trading. And, by the way, the company launched a separate platform named CEX.Broker, https://cexbro.com/, for margin trading or other advanced types. So, if you happen to look for some good and simple exchange, or for more trading options, I'd advise you to check CEX.IO.

i was trying to earn from referrals years ago, i realize some of the users i end up redirecting to the website are just deleting the parameters of the url and then proceed to signing up. looks a waste of time for me. there are really good article writer who can make people sign up and even deposit money on their account. seen some webmasters who already mastered how to do it with the help of the forms and marketing strategy. 

the right way of doing all these as a living is very tiresome but must be worth as it serves like a streaming income for them. writing skills isn't learned in just a night so over the years they learn how which is why you see their websites are pretty much confident with what is written there. cointelegraph i think is doing this referral too.

If you take cryptocurrency referral programs some year before it was really good when we see this but now the market it is completely turn around so so we cannot expect the decent amount in any referral business.
Exchanges and wallet providers are usually comes with moral bonus but now days scarcity on there also.

Referring people and having passive income from them is a hard task. First problem is finding active people, willing to spend some money. I never had referrals on any exchange, but I had referrals in casinos. Many quit after some time, and their activity was so law that I didn't get much from them in all this time. Only way to earn from referrals is to have few big players under you, or many small ones, but I think that big players refer each other, or they simply have alt accounts, so you can forget about that. To have many little players that you refer you need to be very active in many places, even more than that, to be trusted person, how else will people believe enough to follow you and to sign up under your referral.

No, affiliate marketing pays someone to talk about your brand. Where do you see this for exchanges? I think you just typing in anything to get paid for your signature. You break one-liners into two lines and think people are stupid.

Those are crap. It is better to receive lifetime referral bonus on trading fees.
