Title: [Warning] asicworlds.com
Post by: OmegaStarScream on September 08, 2019, 05:33:57 PM
I have not tried the service so I cannot say whether it's legitimate or not but I would recommend staying away from it, as I've caught some users (newbies waking up from inactivity or freshly made accounts) spamming the website in other member's topics.

Thanks for feeling it necessary to let everyone know this matter by opening this thread. Rising from inactivity and start spamming is obviously a matter of concern. I hope after seeing this thread everyone will be careful enough before using this website.

Hi! Is there any additional information concerning Asicworlds?

Especially I am interested if it is connected to Asicvault scam gang https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5186716.0 Both, Asicvault and Asicworld are registered in Singapore, and there many other similarities btw them.

There are hundreds of scams "registered" in Singapore and the only connection between those two that I see till now is the name.

As for Asicworlds...obvious scam.

Their first image is an edited version of this:

showing a shop in China.

Their "best sale" a picture is also from some shop, can't find the source but again, pretty stupid as it shows in the background gigabyte motherboards, which of course they don't "sale".

Also their s17 photo, which was supposed to be taken in July:

Can be found here in April:

Thank you for these proofs!  In addition here is also a testimony from a person cheated by Asicworlds, so it is 100% scam: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIfzfW_H8KE

And I might be wrong but in my opinion still there is more btw Asiworld and Asicvault than only name, I will return soon on that.

They stopped spamming the forums a few days after making this thread if I'm not mistaken so I haven't looked more into them.

How did you know they are registered in Singapore though (AsicWorlds)? I can't find anything regarding that online, and while checking the whois data, it seems like the domain is registered using reg.ru (Russian domain provider). While that may not mean much as anyone could buy a domain from there, I still think they might be based on Russia (or a country nearby) otherwise they would have chosen a more known option like GoDaddy or Namecheap.

I wonder that too, they claim to be operating out of Hong Kong and Us, there is not a single mention of Singapore on their websites and google isn't matching their name to it either.
Maybe in the past, they've used a Singapore address? Don't know.

And I might be wrong but in my opinion still there is more btw Asiworld and Asicvault than only name, I will return soon on that.

If you have any hints or leads that the two might be connected please share, at least we have a starting point, but to date...other than being a scam and sharing half of the name there isn't anything that would connect them.
Tell us what you thought is the link so we won't be wasting time searching for something that might not be there.
