Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: Red-Apple on September 09, 2019, 12:32:43 PM just because price of something is lower than its previous price it doesn't mean it is a good idea to buy that thing! the only conclusion you can ever make from the price fall is that the price of that thing was unrealistic and had to come down. there is no guarantee for it to rise again.
if you don't believe me you can search for the same topic line as you started here and see how many people have been saying the same exact thing for the past 2 years and anybody who listened is currently in a loss between 50% up to 98% simply because they thought the same as you. Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: #Darren on September 09, 2019, 01:01:27 PM Crypto currencies should not be the first source of your income, so generally you always need to have some cash left by side for such purposes. If the market goes down, invest more to equal the token price in your portfolio.

I never use my all saving money (money fiat) to buy cryptocurrencies even to buy bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is risky place to store my money and I won't take the second mistake to decide it again. I'll buy if there is a chance to gain profit and currently I have been investing and I still hold some altcoins and bitcoin as well.I'll use them as a banchmark to buy more again, I mean I'll buy bitcoin or altcoin if my currently investing give me a profit and I'll buy more. Yeah, you are right cryptocurrency price is still at the low price and I'll say it again in the future because this industry will still growing and its price is deserve to increase again. Post by: suhadi88 on September 09, 2019, 02:37:44 PM Learning from 2017, that I must learn to take advantage of any opportunity to make a profit in the future. What I mean is when the crypto enters the year 2018, slowly the crypto is experiencing a sharp decline. I also suffered a loss. My advice is not to give up on trading and bounty campaigns because this is our opportunity.
I also hope that the situation in 2017 can be repeated, the chances are very difficult. I think that opportunities now arise and now many new projects have the potential and can make a profit. Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: tbct_mt2 on September 09, 2019, 03:58:24 PM Price of top altcoins have fallen to their lowest range for last two or three years period, but if I can bet, I will bet most of investors, and people who self-called as crypto enthusiasts have still hesitated and worried about altcoins. They thought like altcoins will hardly to recover, they will never come back; I would stay away from altcoins. Yeah, whenever most of investors think like this, it is time to hop on the altcoin boat, load more cheap altcoins into portfolios and wait their craft starts to rocket.
Hilariously, when price rockets to peaks, they hope if there are other chances, I will do invest in altcoins; but when price falls back, they will return to hesitate again and again. I don't have much money for now because I already lose some coins. I still wait for the price can recover again so I can follow to recover my losses. But I realize that will need a long time before I can start to recover. I don't mind if the market is hard to increase and need to wait for more and I think I could still buy more coins if the price can get down lower than now. I will still hold the altcoin for a few years because if I sell now before the price can increase, then I cannot recover and make a profit at the same time. Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: thiscomm on September 09, 2019, 05:04:31 PM I think for the moment trading is the best thing, considering the price of crypto is down. we can buy as much crypto as possible and store it in our wallet until later maybe next year we sell it at a more expensive price when prices have risen again. yes hopefully next year the price of crypto can improve again and the dominance of BTC will not affect the price of cryptocurrency markets. but I read a number of articles that say that crypto experts predict that crypto prices will improve again by the end of the year. so maybe it's the right moment for us to sell all the tokens in the wallet that we have bought now.

So the question of how much you have left has been answered because no even wants to buy any token until there is turn around ! We're not in a bear market in generally, bitcoin has already recorded success in 2019, giving its investors (those that bought bitcoin earlier in 2019) a return of investment close to 3x. Some altcoins have also experience success but most altcoins in general have lost value compared to the price value in 2017 but that's not what's discouraging investors. Investors are always ready to invest in altcoins but the lack of quality altcoins is the issue. The hype that drove the prices last time aren't present so the valueless coins are dying out. Usually during this period is when smart investors accumulate coins for future profit but majority of the current altcoins aren't worth investing in for long term. They're like the test dummies as far more superior project built on the same idea will be popping out sooner or later to take the spot light off this old Inferior altcoins. The hyp during 2017 was the main reasons behinds these coins and tokens that where full of potentials. Most of these projects crashed landed after the hyp, till now we found many of these projects dead while others were later turned scam. Bet you that, most of these 2018-2019 projects who h still strongly with investors are far more better in potentials compare to the ones in 2017. 2017 hyp may not come back to cryptocurrency world again just to protect investors and projects.Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. After the last market collapse, I made a strategical move with diversifying my crypto portfolio. Some of the altcoins made a new higher-high price point and I liquidated my trades on those levels in order to buy other potential altcoins. The bear market is not done its job and the wave of the next downtrend is not far according to my market analyze. At least, the small amount of BTC is necessary for buying the cheap altcoins and this amount depends on the personal preference of the crypto traders. Understanding these facts will guide the trader for getting the best trading performance in the crypto markets. The facts show us the reality, the experienced traders share their opinion which is based on their market expertise. Buying at the bottom is the same to catch the falling knife in the bear market, in such cases I prefer to wait for the less foggy market environment which is best for buying the uptrend while the market is in the correction mood.Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. I've never been been worried about not buying at the absolute bottom or selling the absolute top, either- I scale in and out of coins as necessary, and it's extremely hard to catch exact tops and bottoms as well. My portfolio value has indeed dropped a bit since 2017, but it's coming back up and I'm using the new knowledge I've gained since then to make better decision this time around. It is very important to have a stable job in a bear market, so that you can get through the current difficulties, and you can let your family continue to live. Buy some bitcoin every week. This is also a very good way to bear in the bear market. Lower your average price, which needs to be operated according to your current funding situation. With good amount of money to spend with your investment, you'll be able to plan wisely with accordance from the situations that taking place right now. Post by: r_delossa on September 19, 2019, 04:06:02 PM I doubt that it is a good point to buy crypto right now, because the market is still very uncertain. I have already invested a lot of money into tokens, so I am just waiting for another wave of hype and hope that Bakkt exchange can push it further.

How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrencies in the future market. If the bear market will last for a few years. What do you choose to do? I will still buy even if it's in the bear market. but not for long-term holding. I will only trade, and look for a small profit. maybe someone thinks buying now and holding it for a long time is the best choice, because the price of coins is low. but I think that's a bad decision, the reason being that we never know when market growth will occur. the market could be in a bearish state for a very long time. Post by: Kemarit on September 20, 2019, 10:26:19 PM From the bull market in 2017 to the present, the price of mainstream cryptocurrency has fallen sharply. It's just an indication that the market goes on a cycle, last 2017 was the biggest bullish trend we have seen so far. But as soon as it burst, follows the bearish trend that's why the price is still on a decline. How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrencies in the future market. If the bear market will last for a few years. What do you choose to do? I don't think that any traders will say how much money they have. Of course, even though we are in a bear market, it doesn't mean we can't put our money and buy good coins and do nothing but hold. On the other hand, traders will be traders, they will continue to try and make money regardless of the current market situations. So for me, continue to bag cheap coins and then trade if I see some profitability and take that risk. Exit on time, rinse and repeat. Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: mr_random on September 20, 2019, 10:26:59 PM TBH, I have lost a lot of money during the bear market and there is less chance I will able to recover the loss in the bull market. For recovering the loss, finding the reliable projects in investing may help but the risks don't let to put all in the altcoins. The required amounts for profitable top altcoins exceed the small amount of budgets.
The market is at the bottom which is profitable to go 50% of the Bitcoin holdings to the altcoins. Depending on the profit expectation, altcoins will reach the middle of the uptrend line in case of the bull market. If the bear market continues for the rest of the year, the new uptrend will be much more strong than we predict. Many experienced traders have speculated that when bitcoin dominance decreases, trends change, altcoin starts to adjust and bounce back slowly, and that is starting to be seen now. I'm also still doing the analysis to get the bottom floor then waiting to bounce again.Title: Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. Post by: Jorge158 on September 21, 2019, 01:41:02 AM The fundamental principle in cryptocurrency investment, "Buy at certain low price and sell at certain high price to make profit." However, there are some technicalities here which require the investor to know which type of coin to buy the dip, how long to hold and when to sell to optimize ones profit. This can be achieved only through the performance of adequate market research.

There are some coin and tokens that belong to some very good projects that I have my eye on but right now I don't have a leg to stand on, so am just trying to work for it and hope for the best. I missed out selling coins in the last bull run and had to sell many cheap just to survive, which was the most unfortunate event of my life in recent years. I really hope that I can change things and am giving myself a last chance in Crypto by 2021 to make something decent or I will just most probably fold in the end. I will try though not to give up as I really enjoy watching this niche sector evolve and seeing how it changes other people's lives for the better. Who knows, my turn might come also.

Let's hope that in the next month, the price will go to the higher rate and hope that the bull run will come too. Although it is still difficult to determine when the bull run will arrive, with the increasing of the altcoin and bitcoin price, I think we could still make a profit.
