Title: UK businesses can now accept Bitcoin payments using CoinCorner Checkout
Post by: CoinCornerMolly on September 09, 2019, 02:45:54 PM
CoinCorner is a UK Bitcoin exchange that was founded in 2014 to help people easily buy/sell Bitcoin. We now offer a service, CoinCorner Checkout, which helps UK businesses to accept Bitcoin (https://www.coincorner.com/checkout) as a payment method from customers.

A quick and simple service, it's free to set up an account and our fee is only 1% per purchase.

Here's a short list of the key benefits:

-No set up costs
-1% fee per purchase
-GBP/sterling payouts (no need to directly handle Bitcoin - unless your business wants to, of course!  ;) )
-No price volatility
-No chargebacks
-No fraud
-Accept Bitcoin via your website, POS device and custom email invoice
-PR opportunities
-Reach new global customers

Is it going to be pure retailer stuff or would you branch out a little a la Bitpay?

I recall quite a bit of their business now is one off stuff like property purchases where the buyer sends the seller to them.

Hi welcome to the forum! Your account looks like the official one so would you mind answering some of my questions,

1. I have an online t-shirt store and I operate from an Asian country. I have customer base from all over the world. Will I be able to accept bitcoin using your api?

2. How the settlement works in your company for Asian countries?

3. Is there any chance to negotiate your service fee?

Good way to go for the United Kingdome citizens, at least they would be able to add this payment option of bitcoin into their ecommerce sites. I have never really know the stand of United Kingdom concerning cryptocurrency, but seem they have supportive market already and reason why this exchange is taking this technology to them first.

Right now, many companies that have ecommerce site will be very encouraged now to start taking the payment solution, which I believe that it would definitely get them more sale, because we are having records of cryptocurrency users on a daily basis which high percentage of them would really love to use bitcoin as a payment of some of the goods and services that they run online.

Pretty good news but one facts makes me sad and hope you'll take care of it. A lot of HYIP websites are UK based because UK has great reputation and at the same time it's very easy to get named SSL certificate, combination of these factors makes it easier for scammers to scam a lot of people. So most of them are using bitcoin as a payment method, hope you'll have some criterias for accepting websites because it's a shame to include such customers.

About Us

I didn't see information about:

- The website owner

- Where is your physical office (if you have any physical office)

- Do you have a license?

In your "CoinCorner Timeline" says that your CEO named Danny participated in a BBC debate, can you show us video of this?

Well, a welcome to you and your belated entry into bitcointalk. It always makes me curious to find out why bitcoin/crypto businesses that have been around for years don't have a presence on bitcointalk... if I owned a business I'd definitely hit it up here.

But never mind why it took you so long, you're here now.

How're you doing with AMLD5 and Brexit?
