When BTC Bitcoin pumps in 2020 after halving, what effect will it have alt coins?  ??? ???

bitcoin will not pump in 2020 nor ever because bitcoin is not a pump and dump garbage like what altcoins are.

we will see bitcoin price continue to rise this year and it will continue in 2020 and mostly after the halving as the adoption grows so the demand for bitcoin increases while the supply remains limited.
these rises will have the same effects on altcoins has they have always had, they will lead to more altcoin dumps.

Altcoins are unlikely to change and the price will be the same

The price of BTCitcoin will rise after the halving and that is our expectation seeing the market in the past several years and usually after the rally in BTCitcoin we will see the top alt coin market making some moves and as always majority of the shit coins will die off too during that period as the developers will sell their coins during this phase and run away with the money, this is what we have seen in the past and that is what i expect this time too. The top coins will retain their valuation.

General thought is most of altcoins will die which igree.plus i think its necessary.there are tons of scam or useless projects. Market doesnt need them and its good to make crypto trustful.

How if you check by yourself in the bitcoin history? We got that history before in 2017, so you can see what will happen to the altcoin. I think the situations will be almost the same as in 2017 because, in that year, the altcoin is step by step starts to increase before bitcoin increases. So I think this time the altcoin will be the first to grow and then bitcoin will follow to rise slowly, and it reaches the highest price again. But that is only a prediction because everything can be happening in the crypto market, so lets we wait and see.

The questions is, what kind of market would be in 2020. If it would be bullish, then the whole market would start to grow together with BTC, but if it would be bearish, BTC would be the only coin that would moon and all alts will stay the same.

Who knows? I believe that will still depend on the market and the demand, we have too much expectations with this halving and I guess that isn't the focal point to get some effects and I believe there are other underlying factors to it.

No one knows on when and it doesn't guarantee that the upcoming halving event will give out some huge price increase in BTC but basing on the previous halvings
then we cant really blame ourselves to have those presumptions and hopes which might happen on the upcoming halving event once again.Neither before or after the event on seeing that pump because usually if theres a pump it do happens after the event -So, it matter with choices on here.
Talking about altcoins, I highly believe that they would dumped down even more.Why? People would go all in with BTC because they do know about the possibilities on making profits with that btc halving.

You are talking altcoins as a one group. It depends on the project, there are some projects that will survive or even thrive during it, and then there are just some random tokens that are already on respirator mode that you for some reason are grouping in one

there are two possibilities that will happen later.
first altcoin go up. This only applies to good altcoins. like ethereum, BNB, and other altcoins that have a large marketcap.

secondly, altcoin can die. This applies to all altcoins. if bitcoin goes up even more than 100% when halving later. then the dominance of bitcoin will rise. in the end those who hold altcoin will definitely exchange it for bitcoin. and the impact nobody else wants to buy and hold later.

maybe after halving there will be a downfall for altcoin. because there will be many people who want to hold bitcoin and sell altcoin in the market, and the dominance of bitcoin will increase. but after a few months after halving, I'm sure altcoin will go up. in my experience altcoin will rise when bitcoin starts to stabilize later.

So the crystal ball that tells that Bitcoin will pump in 2020, but doesn't know about altcoins?!  ;D
We don't know if/when Bitcoin will pump. After a long enough pump, after enough traders are on clear profit, some altcoins may have good days again. O maybe not. Nobody can predict the future...

It's very simple.When the raise in the price of bitcoin,it will impact the price of altcoin also.
Till now,this strategy works out. But it may change ,when the year moves to 2020  ;D
Since it's a long term holding, altcoin is best option to inverse your money.

The pump after halving can't be determined and that depends on how the market will give reaction to the bitcoin halving and ance again the effect for altcoin will come the only altcoin that has already developed a good product and it has provided a utility usage to the users. I don't even think the blind pump in 2017 will be happening once again in the future just caused by the bitcoin halving time.

after halving one point must be happen on bitcoin is the price of bitcoin are going to the  moon and about altcoin maybe their price are going down and try to adjust to the current state of the market and the bitcoin rate

ethereum 2.0 will be released before halving. if it works then that could be the reason ethereum will also be pumped or impacted by the bitcoin pump. for other altcoins I'm still not sure if it will go up, or it will die.

It will take weeks or months or years before we can Bitcoin price goes off the chart, assuming this is your definition of a pump. In short we really don't know if its going to in 2020 or 2021. If you are one of those who believed that there is a correlation about Bitcoin price increasing and will spill its effect on altcoin then you have to think again. Currently, we have seen the price of Bitcoin move up from $3,000-$10,000 but alts didn't follow that pattern. I guess majority still have the mindset of 2017, its very different now and it may prove it that way after the block halvening in 2020 and the anticipated pump following that event.

I think no need to wait 2020 for bitcoin halving, I still believe bitcoin bullrun coming this ber month for these year... Anyway 2019 is possible to key of the bullrun for the first month of 2020 for bitcoin halving continually and the effect for this in altcoins is possible to bring some altcoin into better place and price position but not all altcoins can give better profits.




Sorry do not be offend mate, not all altcoins are pump ups, but some of that is have potential to follow into bitcoin if their price are goes into the moon, for sure ethereum is the best coins to hold for loong term.

I don't think there is an effect to the altcoin after bitcoin halving in 2020, but maybe the altcoin can get down for a while until bitcoin can reach the very highest price. Every possibility can happen in that year since we don't know the truth but one thing that we can hope that bitcoin price will be at the highest rate in the future.

Maybe some altcoin will be down, and the other altcoin could still increase even if bitcoin price increases. I think the altcoin which can rise so high will be the altcoin who can survive in this bear market so they will have a big chance to recover their price after it's in the low price for a long time.

But we can hope that after bitcoin get a pump so high, it is the time for an altcoin to get pump too and gladly, we have so many potential altcoins that can increase in anytime. So you might get prepared for the next pump that will come to the altcoin.

when bitcoin pumps altcoins will follow,  gonna hodl my altcoins till the next halving.  Just like what happened from the last bitcoin halving ,bitcoin price spikes and altcoins follow.

of course when bitcoin halving event coming in 2020, i believe a lot of demands coming to cryptocurrency world mate
then this demands will push the price of bitcoin up, and when bitcoin price growing, usually altcoin price will follow,,
but, only for solid and reliable altcoin project, then shitcoins will be dead  ;)

If we believe that the halving of 2020 will have effect on bitcoin and would serve as a catalyst, its fine, but I usually dint see much relationship between bitcoin activities and altcoins, even if investors got so much money from the increase of bitcoin after the halving, they might still not out the money in altcoins as we assume, and if they are to consider altcoins would only consider the altcoins that are within the top 10 in the market, so those are the coins that I felt would have effect because of the increase of bitcoin in 2020.

Speaking of other altcoins, I think they are solely responsible for whatever happens to them, if any altcoin wants to progress, they have to work hard and make a product that will always be of interest to people and community.

If you note the first and the last time altcoins had a real bull market it was during the rise of Bitcoin from $14 to $1100 plus and most recently the rise from $600 to $20,000. Altcoins do well when Bitcoin is in an obvious bull run.

I do hope it this way, but right now the market is in very saturated mode. There are so many projects out there and the liquidity is spread to those projects.
even if Bitcoin in a bull run, the only project that will make a movement will be Bitcoin itself.
of course, everything is possible, it's just we need to make a counter-measure if it does not meet our expectation.

Either both ways yet price do only have 2 ways to go either to pump or dump or even just stay up on neutral levels.This is why this market is very speculative because we cant able to know on whats the next move.Lots of things or factors that do affect on how it moves specially whales and other big players in the market but the most common is on the level of support of the community where it do dictates on where would prices would go.Going back on halving topic, this might be a good catalyst for an another bull run or reaching new ATH but as a supporter or investor just always remember on controlling up the risk factor with our own money.

In most bitcoin halving, it usually has a positive result but it has to say that it is possible not that be much increase with the price. It is something we couldn't just rely on this halving but of course, we are just hoping that it will help.

For the current market situation, it is great not to expect too much and yet to think that this halving will result in a bull run.

I really do think after halving , many people will move their funds to altcoins since they must have made enough profit from bitcoin pump due to halving news. Well, I'm just postulating since it's not certain, considering the fact that many will still convert to stable coins to be on the safe side. When more funds are moved to altcoins, it will cause a market uptrend for altcoins.

Hmm, that is a word that should ring bells in the ears of those projects “the lack of performance challenges the theory, which I could also called self-made believe theory”. The altcoin industry will not grow until we stop lying to our self and then tell the truth to those project developer who are the ones destroying the ICO industry with their lack of performance.

People take altcoin season as though it is a spirit that has been promised to be released at a particular time, or one that follows a particular trend, but even if altcoin season is a sprit, such sprit will not be released until the ICO projects starts performing to optimum capacity as they promised in their whitepaper, and they need to go back to their road map and the work according to what they have promised there.

Yeah, I think it's fine in general to say that Bitcoin, when it does well, the rest of crypto of course gets a lot of spill back. People are more willing to spend btc on alts and invest in ICOs and what not.

But direct halving has very little impact in my mind. Price in the end is what talks to btc/alt pairings.

Altcoin would crash in value, what is the reason why most of them are crashing in value now against BTC, because no one want to be holding them when Bitcoin start pumping, but I just feel people are really overestimating next year coming halving event because everyone knows this and have priced it into the price already

I think the second possibility has a higher probability of happening because almost when bitcoin has big events and is pumped, investors only care and surf on bitcoin every day, altcoin is something that is not welcome at the time, and an understandable result is that when altcoins don't get interested, the value of altcoins will go down. The most recent time we can see the situation of altcoins is very bad when bitcoin has a recovery, if this halving event is really successful, altcoin will probably die a lot.

Bitcoin may go to the top or down speaking on behalf of the the market value bitcoin will remain. It can effect atcoin but not 100 percent because altcoin still depends on its investors the way they buy and sell there altcoins. In behalf of selling and buying if effects the prices, its value the effects the value of the altcoin or bitcoin.

This is why despite the small growth that altcoins have seen during the last days I'm still sceptical about this being the altcoins season that everyone is waiting for, maybe it is and we will begin to see most altcoins growing very rapidly during the next weeks or months, but even if that is true this growth is going to be fuelled by speculation and nothing more and it is impossible to have any kind of sustained growth on speculation alone.

I don't think that the coming bull run ( if ever it has) it will look the same as what 2017 happenings. It for sure it lifts some altcoins but not all of them, not just we consider their market volume but to consider their market potential which people are looking for. We could say that still there are numbers of altcoins remain from where they are today (sleeping dead).

Even some potential altcoins out there are being overseen by the investors because they are more focusing on Bitcoin and the most top altcoins in the market. This will also affect the altcoins trend and making them down even Bitcoin is already soaring high.

most of good altcoin will growing in usd terms too, but not in Bitcoin terms my friend
and maybe a lot of shitcoins will going to zero, because a lot of people will sell their alt and convert it to bitcoin
