last time it was ethereum and ico.
what do you think the next wave would be?

it's going to be dapp because ico, eco, nco, bco is so overrated! most people already learned these ico or ieo scam will never end, but all end up useless. ico of ico for ico and finally, the ico, it just don't make sense. it's like you looking at the continuing infinite mirrors of nothingness. most ideas already done and already scammed, it don't work, but people continue to creating ico for another ico platform, and the top of another ico platform promising to be the best.
dapp would make it own money, in dapp token payment or purchase..., it would hype and pump it own platform and ecosystem.
don't forget when the platform grow so big it then evolving to os, yes, you heard this right, it own crypto operation system
i'm really excited to see which one will take the crown

But seriously, it's not a single altcoin that moves the whole market, this wouldn't make any sense since they have low profiles.
Last time it wasn't Ethereum and ICOs that raised the market, arguably they were the ones that destroyed it thanks to the huge amount of scams and their useless dev teams which disappointed users greatly.

However, maybe this time it'll be the rise of dapp games that will draw attention to the whole ecosystem.

i believed the easy free money days already gone, these ico and nonsense smart contracts endless scam craps already done.

This is an interesting question. I think it will not be easy to transcend Ethereum. However, Waves may come in his place, no? In my opinion, the next hype event will be what we least expect. It will be a surprise for us.

it will be same moves like last time. bitcoin will up, altcoins will follow with different speed.

We know that ICO hype was followed by STO hype and then we saw IEO hype.
IEOs on Binance, Huobi, OKEx and Kucoin. All of them are choosing IEOs very carefully to satisfy their loyal customers and compete which exchange will have a more profitable IEO.
Next hype will be caused by IDOs?  :D

I agree with this. It will almost be the same as the last time we see the market rise in 2017 ago. Bitcoin will go up to reach the higher price, then altcoin will follow, and then bitcoin will increase higher again. But maybe we can be wrong about this since we don't know what will happen later so we could only predict the next pump.

But we could get a big pump in the future as we are in the bear market for a long time and who knows, we will make the biggest profit than before. Unfortunately, we still don't know what coin that will start to increase in the next pump, and we don't have any sign about that. So we need to wait for and be patient.

yes, the ico of ido, of bio of mio :D it don't end, but then what's the useful to it? it's just scam idea ico after scam idea ieo with nothing useful to it and people screaming for mass adoption. there is nothing to adopt beside it's just a scam machine, pyramid and technique. why? because 99.99% it's getting abandon or the object/promise is not achievable after they made off with money.

It will be just FOMO and speculation, as always, assuming that this finally happens. After all, nothing is sure and that pump everybody is waiting for might not happen.

we have seen it and it has called the hype from the IEO and exchange site.  ::)
 you can check it how much exchange sites were doing IEO on its launch pad right now. The majority of ICOs are migrating from doing ico to create cooperation with the exchange site to launch ico. It looks like the exchange site launchpad system has already replaced ethereum smart-contract and then ICO was rebranding its name to the IEO with the exchange site support.

Right now this wave represents exchange tokens, science IEOs were born and people were forced to purchase exchange tokens to be eligible for IEO lotteries. The next wave should be altcoins that still haven't shown a bit.

The thinking back in 2018 was the next wave will be about security tokens. So far, none have made a successful security token offering. Every security token offering has to be approved by the government.

Honestly, I am still confused on what will be the push factor for this next bull run that we are expecting and without that factor, we may never see the bull run because it would not come naturally expect something triggers it, we all know what triggered the last ICO, it was as a result of the platform that Ethereum gave to many project and many projects were able to utilize the opportunity to raise fund for their products until scammers came for it and destroyed it.

Binance is still trying to come up a bit with their IEO idea, but the hype is not strong enough to create the pump. Let’s see what the bakkt would do, if bakkt have no effect, then we have to wait for the next halving of bitcoin next year and when Facebook would release their own coin also, let's see if that would trigger the alts market.

I think it will start with TON  and Libra lauch. Those 2 projects will start a new chapter in the history of cryptocurrency.

ICOs are practically gone(Good riddance), IEOs are still hot(Lesser scams especially on top exchange's IEO), IEO trend will also fade away just like ICOs. I think next trend will be STOs. Not sure what after that?

The next big thing in crypto space now is dapps to be honest, dapps are killing it big, everywhere i turn to makes damn sense with dapps but i still don't know what the fate of IEO will be, lets not forget that this year 2019 IEO and exchanges are the biggest new thing on the wall

STO will not be a Trend, I believe IEO will last a long time. because only IEO that I think is safer and can provide great hype, especially for top exchanges.
