Title: DOGE to BTC Post by: Angell on September 11, 2019, 12:38:13 PM Hello people,
I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: AB de Royse777 on September 11, 2019, 12:40:37 PM I do not think this market is good to sell altcoins if you bought them long ago. It's time to buy alts instead. The alt market is bleeding.

The alt market is bleeding. Yeah, because DOGE had a good price a few months ago but now it is going down. And BTC is rising so I am not sure. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Iyeman on September 11, 2019, 11:45:33 PM Hello people, You can try to see the latest chart of doge and it is always getting dumped and what you can expect from a dead coin with no development combined with hyperinflation? Bitcoin always becomes the best choice to convert but it's very confusing to consider about doge can be pumped anytime and it much better to keep some in doge and you can put the rest into the bitcoin to make sure you have gotten the safe investment. I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Ararbermas on September 12, 2019, 02:04:42 AM Hello people, i see doge still make small pumps but it seems on critical condition unlike bitcoin so you should switch in my opinion. Especially if you want to accumulate profits. Because there's no future on it even if you keep holding for long run. See the chart history because it become stagnant after diving from the top. In my view it takes years again to recover like other altcoin. So you better think about it. Regards I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: samcrypto on September 12, 2019, 02:09:35 AM That can be a good decision if you have profit already with Doge but looking at its price, for sure you lose a lot of money. If you're wiling to take that risk then do it because there's no major progress with DOGE as of the moment and its price can still go deeper but with bitcoin, that risk can be lessen. Doge was a good coin, but I doubt on its future if they continue to go lower than the expected of many investors.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: perla on September 12, 2019, 05:22:28 AM Hello people, I think it depends on what price you bought it, i mean if already profit, i think sell is good. If me i will change to ETH because ETH have higher chance to increased. But this is only personal speculation, if only me who hold the ETH. At least i know where my investment will go.I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell Its a difficult decision. I have alts too and am in the same predicament. Obviously the best time to sell was some months ago, before BTC began its rise. But now it may be too late. The question is whether the next surge will be led by BTC or whether alts will take over - personally I think it's likely to be BTC leading again. However I am keeping my alts because I don't trade very often (for tax purposes), and I think that in the long term the position will be better for alts (at least good alts). Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: maydna on September 12, 2019, 05:45:46 AM Hello people, I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell You should wait until Doge price increases. You can also sell and buy many times if the price of Dogecoin moves. But I guess that will not give a nice profit if the price does not increase higher. If the Dogecoin cannot increase more than 50 satoshi, then your profit will not be bigger, but if you can accept those profit, you can sell it whenever the price rises. But no one will have the right prediction about the Dogecoin price nor the other altcoin because of all of the altcoins following bitcoin price. The Dogecoin itself will have a big chance to increase higher because in the order buy and order sell, and there is a big queue that is ready to be filled. So you need to be patient and don't tempt to sell Dogecoin because other people say the price will be down. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: yazher on September 12, 2019, 05:46:55 AM If you think you would gain some more when you buy bitcoin, then why not?
but decision like this required a lot of research so that you will not end up scratching your head when the tables turned. The best way to do is to give yourself a little time to see the price movement of doge and when you see it's all going down, then you need to make a decision as soon as possible. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Natalim on September 12, 2019, 05:55:44 AM DOGE will eventually rise again, maybe you wait a bit and look for the right timing.
BTC is recovering already but it could dump as well, however, when it dump it will make altcoins dump more, so your best chance to sell your DOGE that you will not loss a good value is when the altcoins season will start, then you can convert some to BTC which is undoubtedly a good coin for long term hold. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: befriendmywater on September 12, 2019, 06:19:30 AM Hello people, I think this is a time when Bitcoin and altcoins can spike in the coming days. These are just my personal thoughts on last night's chart.I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell I see that the market is going down and the alts are starting to bleed, but only bitcoin increased by almost 1% last night. it is a sign that many investors are selling off their altcoins to continue preparing for a bitcoin pump. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: AB de Royse777 on September 12, 2019, 06:29:38 AM ~snip~ Crypto market is always unpredictable. After few days you may see the doge price is 50% down than what it has now and in that case selling your doge now would be a good decision. The opposite can be seen as well. After few days doge price can up by 50% and in that case if you sell then you will regret.Yeah, because DOGE had a good price a few months ago but now it is going down. And BTC is rising so I am not sure. Everything comes down to your instincts. If you feel you should empty your bag then go for it or hold them. Good luck. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: knuckey on September 12, 2019, 07:46:06 AM uncertain market conditions and we don't know what will happen later. therefore it is better to wait for the right moment or wait if there is a pump going on. indeed the doge is often said to be a dead coin that is no longer being developed, maybe the value will go up or down, but you will not lose the coin. keep holding until you feel you have made a profit.

Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: batang_bitcoin on September 12, 2019, 08:47:44 AM What was the price when you have acquired those DOGE? Royse is correct. This moment isn't a good timing for selling alts but if you are on profit upon selling right now, I think if I hold those and I'm determined to acquire bitcoin, I won't doubt of selling it right now.
But the bad news is, it isn't mine and it's yours. :P Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: freedomgo on September 12, 2019, 09:00:59 AM Make sure you analyze it carefully before making a decision, you don't have to worry about holding DOGE because they have a great trading volume, liquidity is not a problem.
Based on the graph - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/ Doge ATH was 0.0173 usd and now its price is only 0.0023 usd, which means it's only holding 13% of its ATH value. On the other hand, let's analyze BTC, let's say its ATH was $20,000 and now the price is $10,000, which means its holding 50% of its ATH value. Therefore, it's not wise to sell because you will lose money with what happen to DOGE and you need to see BTC to grow more than 7 times for you to break even if you bought your DOGE at its peak. I hope you'll understand my analysis, bottom line, don't sell. Because of its transaction speed and its fees, it allows us to send more than what we can do if we are using Bitcoin, ETH, and others. holding it is the right choice, for now, If I were you I would not sell it unless I am in need of money urgently. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Hallmader on September 12, 2019, 10:42:25 AM Think twice, mate. Red season is buying season, not selling. Wait for the green days before deciding to sell. DOGE is falling but so are almost all altcoins. I am more than sure that DOGE is going to make a rise when Bitcoin dominance will fall down. At the current dominance, which is at least 70%, you cannot expect altcoins to fare well. That includes DOGE even if it is holding on to the top 30.

I'm happy that OP didn't panic and still trust the altcoins he bought even some people think that dogecoin is a shitcoin but this shit coin is still here gaining the trust of investors as we can see on its good trading volume. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: CryptoBry on September 12, 2019, 11:20:26 AM As expressed by other response on this thread of yours, this may not be the best time to sell DOGE as the price is really low but then again we don't know if and when it can be making a comeback so the decision is all up to you. In case you really have big doubts then I am suggesting that you wait until next year as there might be some possibility of recovery for DOGE. I also have a little hoard of DOGE and I already decided to forget them until 2020 and whether the value can go higher or even by then I would let them go. The first Doge I bought was around 500sat but has lost most of its BTC value since, if the project BTC bull comes and reach the height of $50k and above then expect many of these ALtcoins to dump to nothing, why would I want to hold ALtcoins when Bitcoin is raging Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Jating on September 12, 2019, 11:36:52 AM Hello people, Personally, If I'm in your shoes, I will move everything on bitcoin months ago. It's obvious that most altcoin investors are shifting to bitcoin to make money because the altcoin market is bleeding. The question is how much DOGE to currently have?I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell I know that DOGE is not a shitcoin, however, if you are thinking of creating money in this market then it's better to shift them to bitcoin. This is just my opinion though, the final decision rest in your hands. Thanks Angell Doge coin still have the potential to increase in the future, so my suggestion is that you sell only a part of your DOGE holdings and exchange them to BTC, if you need Bitcoin fast. Otherwise, keep holding your Doge coins, if you don't make a profit you won't lose anyway. Thanks Angell its hard to predict an altcoin to bitcoin, including doge my friend because, in my opinion a lot of people focused on bitcoin now, as you can see now bitcoin dominance about 70% at market capitalizations right ? i thinkm maybe its better for you to exchange a half from your doge to bitcoin and keep it a half buddy Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: scambust on September 12, 2019, 04:30:22 PM Hello people, I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. Thanks Angell You could sell now into Bitcoin and then wait for altcoins to start recovering, maybe the last of quarter of 2019. And then buy back your DOGE. Or could just wait fo altcoin season to come back. The worst thing you can do is sell now into fiat. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: stomachgrowls on September 12, 2019, 04:37:12 PM Hello people, No one can tell on what would be the future price of Doge even with Bitcoin it do have the same questions on mind. The difference is that I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. Thanks Angell BTC is way more being supported. We dont know on what future lies ahead with DOGE.If you do want to convert to Btc then its your choice since its your dogecoin after all just make it sure that you wont regret. If you do look if Doge is worth to hold then its your choice. Thanks Angell doge won't go up right now, you better sell it. holding a doge without using it is the wrong choice. my suggestion is better to hold bitcoin or ethereum in the past few months. because if you look at the situation, only this coin has a chance to go up for the next few months. You should already know and have some experience trading with using FA/TA, You know right the best trading using your own speculation not from other people. It's already a basic rule investment/trading, anyway about DogeCoin. The coin price sometimes up just because Altcoin Season or some people try to make the price up without a good reason about the project, I never have seen the price moving up because of the news from the Dogecoin it's self. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: xenomorphe1 on September 13, 2019, 09:34:17 AM I would not sell my doge and i would wait for the bull season for altcoins. Here FA/TA can`t work, first OP asking about long term holding, and second it`s doge. I think there is some future for doge, it will not rise in price exponentially, but it will rise I believe, just because they have really strong community. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell Because I think DOGE coins are not suitable for us to make as an long-term investment. In every decision we made, we have to think it many times and not just think of today but for the incoming. We know DOGE don't have a good price today, not even we saw it moving up but just it only sleeping dead. It is the best option to convert it into other coins, not just for Bitcoin alone, we look for other coins like ETH. It's not a question if OP can hold longer, BTC is the most dominant coin in the market, hence, we can expect that altcoins like DOGE has to rely on the success of BTC before it will start to grow. Between the 2 of them, BTC is more stronger and profitable, so people who are not afraid of taking a higher risk, would always choose to put their money to bitcoin, in OP's case, he needs to evaluate if selling his DOGE for BTC will not make him lose a lot since DOGE currently is already very cheap. I don’t even see any mistake here man, If you have so much money in doge and the total money is still something to wrote home about, yes change it to bitcoin because I dint see altcoins doing well at all this year but I see bitcoin having some greater increase before the end of the year, so it would be like you using one stone to kill two birds, invest in bitcoin, pull it out the profit when it is high and then buy the doge coin back if you still believe that they will still have some level of growth.I could not say anything about Doge now because so many beautiful project that I have really vouched for in the past has been full of disappointment to me, and there is no altcoin that I really trust not to disappoint me right now until they prove otherwise. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? Thanks Angell because DOGE seems to be sideways only for the whole year and there is no news or signs of breakthrough growth. Only Bitcoin, 2020 is its 3rd halving event and its value is sure to rise very high. This is a good time to buy BTC first and hold it until the third quarter of 2020. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Patrix_1 on October 17, 2019, 07:34:01 PM Right now, it is better to covert altcoins into BTC, because whatever happens the next coin to raise is going to be BTC. After that altcoins will raise as well, the time in between would be very important to switch your BTCs back into altcoins to get the highest profit.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Immakillya on October 17, 2019, 10:02:59 PM Bitcoin just made a downfall. So expect the dump from altcoins too as marketcap in general has been cut. Better go to stablecoins which give security from devaluation of your coin. Also you have bad choice of buying cryptocurrency. Dogecoin is been out there for years and still made no improvements at all. Dogecoin also known for a pump and dump scheme coin. Also supply makes it harder to market because of adding supply per year. But if you want faster recovery. Then you should exchange that for Bitcoin because it is the first to move up before altcoins.

Convert those shitcins that you have but keep holding the altcoins which is huge in terms of capital and already on the top spot because they also have the potential, and they can also give you profit especially ETH. I believe having more BTC is the best during bear market, try to accumulate much of bitcoin.Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: EdvinZ on October 18, 2019, 05:00:19 AM Hello people, Many altcoins are now at price lows, I think DOGE also belongs to this category. However, the coin is old and it is unknown whether it will be able to demonstrate even greater growth in the future. You can sell some of your coins and reinvest your funds in more recent top altcoins. Risk diversification is a way to preserve your portfolio. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: shadowdio on October 18, 2019, 06:58:32 AM BTC is also down why do you want to convert it?, well it's hard to predict when will increase the price, just try to hold DOGE a few months more or hold til December, who knows maybe the price will increase.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: kodtycoon on October 18, 2019, 07:02:46 AM if i were you, maybe i would keep holding it until the market really got bullish and the second option was to sell half, but i think the second option is not very important and i will really hold it because i believe the market will definitely get the bullish trend in the future. but all the choices are in yourself, you are free to do anything as long as you believe that choice is the best for you i think it will be fine
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Doell on October 18, 2019, 07:52:53 AM my advice don't sell if you lose mate dogecoin long term investment is good ,I think you must stand it well dogecoin is used by many companies because it's cheap and everyone uses it too to finalize fees
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Republikcoin.com on October 18, 2019, 08:11:28 AM the current price of doge is $ 0.0024, and if you intend to exchange the doge you have in the form of bitcoin, I suggest changing it when the price can reach $ 0.003, but that may take time. as far as I am concerned, people now prioritize bitcoin over other altcoins. before the price of a bitcoin pump, or again reaches the price of $ 15,000, I suggest to change it. but if you have other plans, maybe holding a doge isn't a bad choice either. people have always prioritized bitcoin. apart from the newcomers who entered during 2017 who didn't know better, nobody ever bag holds altcoins. because they all know that in the long run altcoins will always go down. right now Doge is worth 24 Satoshi (and yes that is how you report the price not in USD because nobody buys it with USD). and that is a free fall from ATH of 100 satoshi over the years. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: batang_bitcoin on October 18, 2019, 08:15:24 AM BTC is also down why do you want to convert it?, well it's hard to predict when will increase the price, just try to hold DOGE a few months more or hold til December, who knows maybe the price will increase. The original post was posted a month ago and the price during that time was good and until now the market is still the same. OP didn't update on what he actually did with those doge's he has. With what I've said, I will never have a doubt to my decision by selling those doge's although I love that altcoin but bitcoin is more valuable. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: riso2015 on October 18, 2019, 10:07:40 AM If now you don't need money maybe you better just hold your Doge coins, be patient for another year then I'm sure Doge will reach his new ATH. Many predict the price of Doge at the end of this year will reach 50 sats again. Let's wait to see that happens.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: imstillthebest on October 18, 2019, 10:19:58 AM At the moment,Bitcoin market is better than Dogecoin. Because Dogecoin all time best price is $0.0187 and Bitcoin all time best price is $20,089. So, in my opinion, holding Dogecoin is prefer than Bitcoin. You're right, but also you're wrong. It's correct that doge never beat bitcoin in marketplace, but your way comparing coins is wrong. Don't just look at the price but you have to compare the circulating supplu and marketcap and daily/weekly/monthly volume also. Or easily you can see the chart in coinmarketcap i dont see anything wrong in his comparison but i also agree on you . comparing coins does not end on the price but we should also consider other factors like the ones that you mention above but let say we include the supply and the market cap , doge cant still stand a chance on btc . doge supply is high which is bad for one coin , i dont also think that the market cap of doge is high than btc . @op , you should not convert all so that you still have some doge left . Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Google+ on October 18, 2019, 02:41:17 PM I think you can sell it at an exchange that can be easier to get the best rate and of course your trading can be safer, why don't you sell at an exchange that has a high trading volume? or you can hold the doge you have because I see the doge still has the potential to increase prices.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: DU18 on October 18, 2019, 05:01:23 PM I think it's better if you wait for the right price, and then release the doge you have on the market, now the price of the doge is still very cheap and if you buy the doge when the price is expensive then of course you will feel the loss if you release the current doge, see the development the current market, I think doge will again experience pump prices in the future, and it can be said that if the doge still has a large prospect for investment, I myself still hold the doge on the market with quite a lot and wait for the right price to sell it.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: Darooghe on October 18, 2019, 06:18:25 PM If you don't have any BTC i would recommend, you choose the big father of crypto BTC. Sell Doges to buy BTC and then hold BTC. If you sell your Doges at 50% loss, and get into a rising BTC while the Doges are still dropping, you can buy back your Doges later at an even lower price.
The next year is all about the BTC halving hype and alts will get desecrated in Satoshi value. when i look at some coins in my portfolio and the changes in the past such as BTC vs Alts, then i have to say, i lost at this moment 30-60% depending on the coins in compare, i never changed my Alts for BTC. Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: princehandsome on October 19, 2019, 01:45:26 AM in my opinion right now is the right choice to sell all your DOGE and change it to BTC because Altcoin is currently suffering a lot. and maybe you've heard if the price of BTC will surge in the next few months or years. so I think you will not regret if you sell all of your DOGE to change it to BTC. if you are still in doubt then you have the right to choose a decision for your own good.
Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: uray on October 19, 2019, 04:35:37 AM I have a lot of DOGE and I am thinking about changing it to BTC or should I wait. I mean does anyone have any predictions about the price. I do not want to make a mistake and sell everything and then be sorry in a few months? I would hold the Doge until there is a rally in the coin and we usually see the price of dogecoin going to 200 SAT once in a while but it is hard to understand when we will see the rally, if you want to convert dogecoin to bitcoin to take advantage of the bitcoin rally after the halving then you should do that before that, but i would rather hold dogecoin for the huge rally and would invest in bitcoin too in the mean time.Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: zeze18 on October 19, 2019, 04:38:10 AM I think it's better if you wait for the right price, and then release the doge you have on the market, now the price of the doge is still very cheap and if you buy the doge when the price is expensive then of course you will feel the loss if you release the current doge, see the development the current market, I think doge will again experience pump prices in the future, and it can be said that if the doge still has a large prospect for investment, I myself still hold the doge on the market with quite a lot and wait for the right price to sell it. There is no project or company manage or develop this dogecoins in a professional way, so it's hard to predict the price by fundamental analysis. It's up when people have much demand on it and it's down when people are selling, just like that Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: riso2015 on October 19, 2019, 05:33:55 AM in my opinion right now is the right choice to sell all your DOGE and change it to BTC because Altcoin is currently suffering a lot. and maybe you've heard if the price of BTC will surge in the next few months or years. so I think you will not regret if you sell all of your DOGE to change it to BTC. if you are still in doubt then you have the right to choose a decision for your own good. Personally, I will continue to hold Doge because there is still a wide opportunity continue to increase prices in the next few months. Doge prices are now at a rate of 34 satoshi and I am sure this will continue to increase. But if you want to buy, place a buy order at the rate of 30 sats, its possible I think.Title: Re: DOGE to BTC Post by: cryptoangel on October 19, 2019, 05:48:14 AM in my opinion right now is the right choice to sell all your DOGE and change it to BTC because Altcoin is currently suffering a lot. and maybe you've heard if the price of BTC will surge in the next few months or years. so I think you will not regret if you sell all of your DOGE to change it to BTC. if you are still in doubt then you have the right to choose a decision for your own good. The current market is bleeding so you think if they change Bitcoin it will going to moon on next bull run. But DOGE and BTC both are similarly follow the pump and dump, so stay anyone is the better option and most of the investors are like to invest Bitcoin so again it will growing soon. |
