It doesn't matter who was the first person or which profile was the first to use the Facebook profile link. Question is why are two bitcointalk accounts using the same Facebook profile?
When they use the same profile, it means it's the same person behind the forum profiles(thou sometimes people make mistakes to copy other people's social media links)

Nice investigation you got up there @mainconcept. This is probably a case of ban evasion and i know OP knows deep down in his heart what he did. I only recall one incident where someone was wrongly banned for plagiarism because they were framed.

There have been several cases of wrong bans, but I believe that errors are inevitable for forums with so many users.
Fortunately, moderators are always willing to fix their mistakes:

If you look at the profile of this person, he always used the link to his Facebook. Only once he used the link to my facebook. Do I understand correctly, if someone once used links to your social networks and he is blocked, then they block you too?

I can’t see any logic here. I can post a link to facebook or twitter of any person on this forum and break the rules. After you block me, will this person be blocked too?

Don't you find this to be strange?

It all depends on the date of publication of the link. mdafjal786 posted a link on Facebook much earlier than you. How could he know the link was yours? There's only one option - account mdafjal786 belongs to you.

TotSamiy has posted facebook link in question 3 months prior to mdafjal786 in AKAIITO bounty (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184328.msg52446725#msg52446725) (spreadsheets are also public).

mdafjal786 has a different facebook link posted/repeated more than 15 times, they have used "id=100024281163954" only once which also happens to be one of their last posts made (seems a bit weird don't you think)?

disclaimer: I haven't looked at any other connections except for that specific facebook url. (on vacation)

Could be ban evasion...

We are worked with TotSamiy in 2018, because started as one team, and transferred some eth to each other, about merit - we was newbies and didn't noticed that sending merit to each other can be a problem. I'm absolutely unrelated to TotSamiy since August 2018, only once after that I helped him with accusation from Lauda, because Wipro involved both of us in this case. That's all, I don't know the reason of TotSamiy ban, but I definitely not his alt. And yes, we're both have YouTube channels where you can see our identity

This is my YouTube, also you can see my post history and all my work to easily understand that we're not same person
https://www.youtube.com/user/tixoxodka
I'm doing my job separately and in different way, we are now competitors who once started together, nothing more

Nothing suspicious in previous fast response, we still have contact to each other (whole situation with Wipro and Lauda was strange) and I responded here because mangioromo bot sent me notification

I have only one alt account - bountyflex, it's indicated in my trust

There is no reason to bump this.

You asked a question and received the answer. Ban evasion.

There is enough evidence that both accounts belong to the same person.
The excuse of a 'friend' (or sister, brother, mother, grandfather, ..) is the cheapest one you could come up with ?

1) Same facebook account used and 2) Depositing to the same account from multiple addresses (posted by 2 accounts) is enough to believe both accounts belong to the same person.

You - as a person - are banned from this forum. This includes any account owned by you and any account you will own in the future.

Title: Re: permanently banned
Post by: morvillz7z on September 18, 2019, 10:01:57 AM
@bob123

I believe TotSamiy is banned on the premise that he is an alt of mdafjal786 (not bubbalex) and both accounts share the exact same facebook account.

mdafjal786 has used this facebook address around and over 15 times (43 total post/newbie account): https://www.facebook.com/mdafjal786
and only once the address TotSamiy uses, which by the way was posted twice prior to mdafjal786's post!

My question is...what is stopping a newbie throwaway account to take your btc or eth or whatever address/social media handle to use it as their own and then get banned? How is that TotSamiy's fault? Are there any other connections between mdafjal786 and TotSamiy?

edit:

Whoever made that report quoted by hilariousandco is inaccurate, to put it mildly.

rzflf who was banned alongside TotSamiy has used "yusniar88 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3109687.msg32473152#msg32473152)" twitter handle probably 50 times prior to mdafjal786's post from May 31st (which again like TotSamiy's facebook link was used only once).

Following Xal0lex's reply, both rzflf and TotSamiy have shared their social media handles before mdafjal786 hence they should not be banned.

It all depends on the date of publication of the link.

No. If you post "a link to facebook or twitter of any person" later than the other person and you are banned, the other person will not be banned.

Am i missing something?

When they use the same profile, it means it's the same person behind the forum profiles(thou sometimes people make mistakes to copy other people's social media links)
Some times ban evaders have been caught doing this.

I'm not defending OP but this statement is wrong.
Many times I've found several people (generally newbies) using other people accounts.

This can be explained with 2 reasons

1: they copypasted a random message on probably the same thread form another person to get the submission form already done and after they simply forgot to change all data. (Believe I found several of them)

2: they are doing it to harm someone, to get him banned or to steal stacks for him. (found some of those too)

A good way to do some researches is to type this string on google

Code:
Yoursocialmedia handle site:bitcointalk.org -yourbitcointalkusername

It can be done with an address too

Code:
your address site:bitcointalk.org -yourbitcointalkusername

It is not 100% accurate but it works better than nothing

I hope people are doing triple check before reporting people.

I will post for the last time in this topic because i'm tired of people not reading.

Whether or not TotSamiy and bubbalex is the same person is absolutely irrelevant here.

TotSamiy was pinned with ban evasion on the premise that he is an alt account of mdafjal786 (who used TotSamiy's facebook link only once, link which was initially posted by TotSamiy months before that). Same goes for rzflf.

I will quote coinlocket$:

I don't understand why this man did that. Am I not allowed to exchange money with my friend? We worked as a team, it was logical that the payment came to one of us, and later, we shared it with each other.
Do you have a way to do it differently?

See my friend's answer in this thread. Tell me, what evidence do you want? I will send any links, we are not anonymous.

Banning me on this forum is a mistake. If I was really guilty, I wouldn't bring it up every day. I want justice.

I don't know anything about connection of TotSamiy and mdafjal786, but I'm definitely not connected to both of these accounts and I'm not his alt. Stop involve me into this case, please. You can see our YouTube channels or check campaigns we managed, I'm responsible manager with own community, trying to build some type of platform, I'm working hard and trying my best. As I can see TotSamiy working in absolutely different style. Also, why do I even need to have an alt account like TotSamiy and especially like mdafjal786, if I'm successful as bubbalex. As I said, we started as one team and not working together since August, 2018 due personal reasons and different vision about work.

I have different work style, different posting style, different career, different vision. There is no reasons to think that we are same person, we was a friends more than a year ago and I didn't seem him since August, 2018 we just talked couple times in Telegram, that's all.

This can be explained with 2 reasons

1: they copypasted a random message on probably the same thread form another person to get the submission form already done and after they simply forgot to change all data. (Believe I found several of them)

2: they are doing it to harm someone, to get him banned or to steal stacks for him. (found some of those too)

I think the Mods and Everyone are overlooking the thread and consider it a closed case already, probably due cases we've seen countless times of users who just keeps ranting despite knowing what they've done wrong.

I'm not sure if that'd be considered as an unsolicited message, but if it wouldn't be, I think OP should PM Hilariousandco or Xa0lex (since they've replied to this thread before) with the updated info which shows it's a mistake and they've been wrongly banned. I'm sure they'll take a minute or two to look into this case.

TotSamiy provided proof (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184328.msg52446725#msg52446725) in the current topic that the banned member mdafjal786 used the Facebook address (id=100024281163954) after OP.

Member TotSamiy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1772877) was using that Facebook link even before that profile mdafjal786 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1954569) has been registered (March 19, 2018).

#680 | February 15, 2018 | totsamiy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1772877) | https://www.facebook.com/100024281163954

#Proof of ownership:
Telegram @username: @wikifoairdrop
Twitter profile link: https://twitter.com/mdafjal786
Facebook profile link: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100024281163954

Because of that there's a chance that TotSamiy has been banned for a ban evasion by mistake.

I think admins should review this case more carefully. Forum members need to be sure that if any spammer or scammer will publish their addresses for some reason, they will not suffer from this.

Unbanned.

Good reasoning.

All the evidence is in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184328.msg52448114#msg52448114

That post is long, but irrelevant to this case since bubbalex is neither banned nor linked to mdafjal786.

Our moderators are highly accurate, so it makes sense to start out biased against appeals. But mistakes happen: ignoring relevant evidence and accepting irrelevant evidence leads to injustice.
