Title: What solutions are required for crypto users from Iran
Post by: rearwheels on September 13, 2019, 07:14:23 PM
Hello everybody.
Due to sanctions of Iran I would like to ask Iranian crypto people:
What crypto/fiat solutions are you required?
What would help you to live easier?

I'm not from Iran nor an Iranian but what was this sanction that the Iranian gov't given to the crypto people there?

AFAIK base from the news, more news like this are coming out there;

Thanks, jossiel. Will take a look on a news you sent me.
Mostly my question is regarding fiat transfers. I suppose that they have restrictions to use SWIFT.

I can't help you with that but my advice for you is to look for a local forum or groups on social media for your country that knows and understands that kind of rule or any restrictions if there is.

I helped you to look out for some related threads on the forum regarding your question but sadly, there's no thread or Iranian section for that.

nearly every banking system and payment processors block Iran because of the US sanctions over the past 40 years. not much can be done about it, decentralized cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin have been solving that problem for the citizens but only as long as they are accepted as a payment directly by the other party. so the options are still limited due to still small adoption of bitcoin.

what solution is required?
more adoption of bitcoin by majority of merchants worldwide.

I'm not an Iranian, but if you are a crypto supporter and your country doesn't support it, the most logical thing to do is move to a crypto friendly countries.

I know this might may not sound right, and very extreme decision on your part. But I guess this is the best thing to do at this point if you wanted to make your live easier specially involving yourself in cryptos. IMHO.
