Can I sell my bitcointalk account? Or is it against the rules?
I don't want to get banned by doing a silly thing like this, just keep seeing people selling accounts on here.

This is the wrong section to post your question and probably the wrong question to ask.  You should have searched for account sales before asking; the mere question may get your account flagged.

It's not against the forum rules but usually the community frowns upon it.

I don't think its hacked. OP has been selling Reddit accounts prior to this post. I think he might have heard that bitcointalk accounts are being sold and thought that he could make a few bucks out of it. Or maybe I'm wrong  :-\

There is no official rule against account sales but the practice is heavily frowned upon by the community as the practice is associated with account hackers and scammers.  So if you are caught selling an account, You will get negative trust from DT members and this will render the account almost useless in carrying out business deals and transactions in the forum as no one will trust you.

Well, there is no rule which wouldn't allow to sell Bitcointalk account. But our community is strictly against account sales and usually sold accounts are being red tagged by DT. And I don't see much reasons to sell Bitcointalk account. Yes, you can make quick buck by doing it, but is it really worth to do that? Is it all efforts that you put into your account is worth money that you will get? I don't think so... And worst thing that account sales encourage scams and fraud.
