Post by: saritta93 on September 16, 2019, 10:04:51 PM
Hi community  ;) please is there someone who has already tried to send euros from mistertango to transferwise whether it's a small amount or a large amount several times without problem , since transferwise doesn't allow transfers from and to exchanges ?  Thanks !

I got this from another forum.

It seem Transferwise now block transfer to mister tango ibans
It posted last January so I think if you are going to transfer money from mistertango to transferwise or vice-versa it won't work.

Why not try to ask this on Mistertango announcement thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1972805.240
The thread is not active but you can bump the thread and maybe someone knows if it is allowed to transfer EUR to transferwise from mistertango.

Is what your trying to ask, how to get funds from a mistertango account/transaction into a transferwise account/transaction, and then be able to deposit that amount into a crypto exchange?

From personal experience, a friend tried to send funds from mistertango to my transferwise account, but he talked to support and they said they don't support those transactions (probably due to the competition). If you want an international balance, PayPal is probably the easiest way to do this, as long as you don't mind paying that much in fees. I'd recommend you to transfer the balance from mistertango to your own personal account, and then just send that via a simple transferwise transaction, or load up your account.

If you don't mind me asking, why didn't you just transfer the money directly via the exchange? Privacy, I'm guessing?

It was possible before but not anymore. They started to forbid the funds coming from an exchange (back in 2017 maybe), and then straight away everything related to crypto. It's not about competition.

Paypal is horrible as an alternative, 2.5% FX fee sucks. Transferwise charges 0.5% and @OP may not have a SEPA account so he can't transfer the funds from Mistertango to his local bank account, hence using TW

@OP you can maybe use Uphold.com (https://uphold.com/)? I doubt they're 'anti-crypto' since there is Bitcoin as deposits option :P

Thanks all for your replies  💕  i'm just trying to find a way to sell btc /EUR in an exchange and send the euros directly to a bank that is admitted by transferwise, i did several searches, i found that  kraken sends to fidor bank ( germany ) but unfortunately i can't register on it because i'm not an europe resident ,  so mistertango is for worldwide and some exchanges works with it , i tried also to get a bitcoin debit card or prepaid card to use it but cryptopay and bitpay and all other similar services is also for european residents , uphold is not a bank and they stopped to give a virtual mastercard !
