Few weeks ago I found my self in this technological medium And I have been on the newbies section not knowing there are several sections here on the forum. Coming here I find one word very common which is Bounty it will a pleasure if someone will highlight what its all about it importance and benefits !!!

You don't need a simple explanation and what you must know about that to visit the bounty thread directly and then you can try to start to read the whole of thread. bounty is a part of the marketing purpose and this has already begun since ethereum ico has been running in the past.
Bounty gives to many benefits to the users especially for the early adopters who have become millionaires caused by they are getting a lot of major coin from their efforts.

It's not like the cowboy bounty that we used to know. But bounty refers to the tasks that you will do for a certain project and you'll get rewarded by their own tokens. But there's assurance if the token you will receive is going to have value which depends on the developers on how they will work on it.

Exactly sir great advise it's basic to know all about what is bounty? Reading in the right section herein forum are easy to learn all about. For me bounty campaign project is profitable specially if the project reach the target value of the presale. But I advise to the op of this thread becareful if they have plan to invest in bounty learn it well before investing in the project.

You must learn the ways for becoming the successful bounty hunter. For joining the bounty campaigns, go to the altcoin bounties section of the forum and you will find the plenty of the bounty campaigns. The requirements for the experienced bounty hunter is not easy and achievable but patient bounty hunters are able to go through this complex journey. Patience pays in the bounty world from my experience.

For living in the profitable bounty world, you must follow the rules:

1) Always choose reputable projects
2) Research the team before deciding to join or not
3) Never believe to the false promises of the bounty managers, they don't bother when you will get the bounty rewards, delays happen out of their intention.
4) Always spread your posts through the week, never post all the required minimum posts in 2 days.
5) Be smart, trade your bounty stakes on various bounty-stake accepted platforms like Tokpie.

Basically bounty is a way to promote a crypto project and you will get rewards by working on it.
In the past, many people who were successful to be bounty hunters. But now, it is not as easy as that time. Too many scammers and failed projects make bounty hunters got only a little income currently. You must know how to analyze potential projects, so I advise you to read some articles that discuss about it firstly [google search].

For me, there are some things that you must remember in the bounty.  
1. Be smart
2. Be selective
3. Be not greedy
4. Don't expect too much

yes, bounty is when you promote a project using your social media, blog, youtube or using your account as a signature campaign, the benefits are you can get money if the project you follow is successful or you will not get anything, not even a penny if the project what you are following is an unclear project

Spend some time here and you'll find out it by yourself and alot of other stuff. A very helpful community and alot of good people, though not all. Anyway, there is alot of information that is here and you need to spend some time to learn it, now one can teach you.

For those who are new to bounty, surely they will not receive anything in the first few months. Or maybe for the first year. Bounty right now is not a good way to make money

Bounty just another way of marketing from startup or scale up company which is want to promote their product with using support from crypto member community, but exactly we will got a reward from doing this job. Anyway, you can try to look for bounty thread page, some job on there are available to do like :
1. Signature Campaign
2. Social Media Campaign
3. Article campaigns
4. Etc.

But the biggest catch in it that
1. Payments from a bounty campaign depend on the rank that you have on forum. For gaining your higher ranks you need to have the Activity score, and earn merits for that rank. Getting activity is time dependent but getting Merits is fully your own luck.
2. Payments will vary as much as from nothing to a lot. This is because the project needs to raise money to be able to pay its participants. If the project fails then its your loss of time and work. You will get nothing.
3. Loads of scam projects run out there promote their scam trough greedy bounty hunters who dont even check basic things about the project they are promoting. Dont be one of them. Run a thorough check on the team and their project to the best of your knowledge and then only participate.

The better way to earn some coins in this forum is the bitcoin signature campaigns. You should work on your account posting quality first, to become eligible for them.

Unfortunately, you are three years late, bounty hunting is not good as it was before, I am old bounty hunters and I can prove and all the other old bounty hunters too that it's like not worth to do bounty hunting, now so many scam project so many failed project that 1 out of 20 projects are sure to fail and will not get support.

Even now that I only do social marketing, it's worthless, some of the projects I've promoted last year still didn't come to my wallet, some of them are shitcoins in my wallet.

I am not discouraging you but it's better to do your own research so you can see the real picture in your perspective.

Benefits, if you found a good project to join, importance, they need people to promote their project to get funded and they don't have the funds to do it, so they issue their own money to pay their workers, I don't recommend that you join just any bounty right away, give yourself a week to read the current state of bounty, before you decide to join.

on the word itself which is "bounty"  a reward by doing a task . Doing bounty will earn you reward and exchange into cash,many people are doing bounties in different categories. You need to do the task everyday or weekly to bounty stake.

consider checking the word bounty in google and also engage in critical questions that will further advice your decision on what bounty truely is. It is a major source of livelyhood for those who have social media marketing skills and those who are active within the crypto space

First of all i would like to welcome you and take some time to read up and familiarize everything you do encounter.This forum is somewhat vast in terms of informations and money making opportunities.

So lets go back into your concern on what is a bounty? Its a task been given out by a certain project to the community which been paid up by tokens after the end of the campaign.
Usually it do pertain with social media task,article/blog writing, signature campaigns and other possible task to be given.There are some set of rules to be followed for you to be eligible and as a newbie dont easily get hyped up because you're limited on what campaign you would able to join due to rank restriction.Make some time on establish your account and read up things then get familiarize first on how this forum works specially its rules to avoid some problems in future.

when i was a newbie before , i dont start learning about crypto wallets but i just jump from joining a bounty and ended up providing wrong wallet address . ive wasted alot of time for promoting and waiting for the results but in the end all my hardworks didnt pay off just because of a small single mistake which is a wrong wallet address . lesson learned , we start from the basics  . i agree that starting on how to set up a wallet and learning how to operate it can be your stepping stone from learning other task related to it or to crypto and blockchain  .

i don't recommend him to try gambling site since he is still new. What if he becomes addicted because of that? Learning altcoins isn't by gamble, you can trade or do something else which more safer than gamble.
Since all people have given their thought about bounty, i don't see this thread need to be open again

The word bounty itself enough to understand what it is,its kind of rewards we will get for completing the task given in various platforms.Signature campaign is one of the most profitable bounty compared with others but you need certain rank to participate on it or you can join on other campaigns like translation,social media and much more.

Seems pretty optimistic for a newbie out here who came here to earn money, but I would not give the OP such much hope that they are can expect bounty payments to be worth the time they put in. Signature campaigns paying in bitcoin is something else, those can be depended upon for a stable income every month if you get into some average to well paying ones but for that you would need to be a quality poster.

So I think the OP, if they have read the replies here should work on their posting habits and try to diversify posts in different sections to be able to get into a campaign.

If you are interested to participate in a bounty campaign, then go to the bounty section each bounty campaign has their own rules to follow, so check each bounty campaign that you want to participate, check the rules and find out if you qualify, but you cannot participate in a signature campaign, only on social media campaign but it's worth it.

Bounty, just like what others said is a task that you'll do to advertise the project and you'll be rewarded by their tokens or bitcoins if you applied to btc paying campaign. Bounty is one of the popular way here to earn crypto and those who participate in bounties are called bounty hunters. Take time reading in different section here in the forum and you'll gain knowledge about crypto.  

Hoping too much on making money with bounty campaigns? Its already a hard one yet we know on how this thing had wear out compared into its previous glory days where
most project is being hyped up together with the bull run.ICO task are quite worthy for out time but these days? High chances that you would just simply waste up your efforts on the work you had done.

Signature campaigns is much more better option yet you would able to receive weekly payments with bitcoin unlike on bounties where you do receive crap tokens which doesnt have any value.

I guest he just want to know what bounty is. base of what he ask he dont have any idea where and how to do that.
Firstly bounty is so called payment for the job that you done for  a project. Here is the list of bounty campaign.
1.translation campaign
2.signature campaign
3. Social media campaign
4. Blog campaign.
For every campaign you are participating and completed you will get the amount xxx token depend of the share you get in the spreadsheet.
The payment is token of the project you are promoting.

But I doubt any bounty hunter is going to read out replies.

Even though they are doing bounties and wasting their time either getting paid worthless tokens or getting blocked by a sudden KYC forced on hunters, they will still continue to do the same thing over and over again. Such frustration they fall into but few care to actually try to improve their posts and rank up to get into a decent paying signature campaign. This smell of free money that is a false promise given by ICO teams is what makes the thread full of spam posts as well.
