it's important to remind ALL THE TIME the US GOV that the TXs isn't a crime. EXAMPLE: IRAN pays 100BTC for 1000000 pork. the TX has to go through ! it's the pork that must be stopped. --- So that the wiring of value is okay, but not the receiving of the pork... so that bitcoin isn't threatened by the US gov. again BITCOIN is just a MEDIUM of VALUE TRANSFER in this case. it could be pork, insulin, diapers, or everything. again I repeat the tx isn't the problem, it's the trade... what is being traded. Maybe cars? again, what I am saying is that the US gov can drone strike the pork black market participants or who ever in the pork trade, but please not attack BITCOIN !!! bitcoin is innocent ! the pork traders are guilty ! that's just the message !!! because when the USG start to drone strike the mining operations... Post by: Quickseller on September 22, 2019, 01:01:09 AM If they can determine that a particular person accepted bitcoin from Iran (or an associated entity), they could issue sanctions against the person to recover the equivalent amount they accepted.
In layman’s terms, this means that whatever exchange you use to convert the bitcoin to fiat will turn over the proceeds to the US government. Regardless of the government confiscating the amount of money you receive, you should not do business with Iran. Doing so would likely further terrorism and would also help the Iran government operas their people. There should be no price that anyone should be willing to accept to further either. |
