the current network difficulty seems a bit low so guessing it would be quite easy to mine with just a CPU
obviously this will increase over time as more minors join the network.

Regarding an Exchange i'm currently awaiting an update and will also add the exchanges here once I know the exchanges that are listing kipcoin.

If they are mined KIPC coins they will need at least 100 confirmations before they will become available.

You misunderstand me
With Windows wallet it is impossible to send coins and they are not confirmed inside the wallet
even if you pass and 500 blocks still no confirmation and when trying to send coins an error appears

When sending coins with the windows wallet you need to use the custom option instead of the recommended option as Fallbackfree is disabled on that wallet version
or alternatively rebuild kipcoin from source as Fallbackfree is enabled on the source if you build it from source, it's just the windows wallet that has Fallbackfree  disabled.



Note: I am currently recompiling for windows right now with Fallbackfree enabled and will add it today once completed.

You must fork your project and add Segwit in it, it is disabled since block # 8604 and it is causing the error that we cannot send coins to another wallet, even if we create a legacy address.

what error are you receiving when trying to send coins?
also you may need to make sure the wallet is fully synced before trying to send any coins.

There is no specific error message, it is just no confirming at all like the other guy said before.

Is the project forked from  0.18 version of bitcoin or  0.17 version ?

Just checked to do it manually, and i got the error :



Invalid Kipcoin address (code -5)

I've tried with default address and also with manually created "legacy" addresses, both fails

I am pretty sure it is the same error that had the project Bitflate (BFL)

It has been solved by forking the projects and adding the segwit soft fork from bitcoin 0.18.1

oh ok, and do litecoin forked since ?  Does litecoin have segwit ?


I just tried it on my pool and it does mine well since 3 hours, but the payouts failed because of that error in segwit (or something else if it is)

I will have the block explorer fully updated in a couple of hours and recheck the current compiled version to check for any errors

I used the version of windows wallets you uploaded on your github, the exact same link you sent here in this thread.

For my pool (linux) i used the source code that comes with that wallet in github

I also tried the version in the github master branch of the project, and also ive tried the last version "1.0"

I couldnt also make the 0.17version works because its a complete copy of litecoin, with daemon "litecoind" and all the blocks of litecoin etc and not a fork at all for Kipcoin.

Ive tried all these versions and.none of them works successfully.

No none of your wallet addresseswill be found yet as i've had to reimplement a few changes, once I have finished the explorer then your addresses and transaction id's will work. only blocks are currently showing and local transactions only at the moment.

Segwit is kinda like a faster way to do transactions. It is more than that but i am not the right person to answer that, i think some articles from google could do that better than me.

Everything is there for you to simply mine away instantly and get rewarded.

Pool operators you really need to start accepting mempool transactions in to your blocks otherwise when you send kipcoins they will never get confirmed
there are currently 930 transactions stuck in the mempool right now Plus these tx give miners more rewards as they can collect the transaction fees so why not add them in.  :o >:(

Our main nodes become unsynced due to a server issue, so was trying to force it to resync but appeared nobody had a fully resynchronised node,
Our nodes are now in sync again, although the blockchain has lost around 500 blocks.

Ok so ignore them blocks they was just test blocks to help make our nodes re-sync again with the network, if we didn't do that we would of had to completely restart the blockchain because at the time there wasn't any nodes 100% synchronized , and with no nodes synchronized then would of become a dead chain as no nodes would ever be able to use the getblocktemplate command in the console to generate any new blocks, there must always be a minimum of 1 node that is 100% in-sync , due our main nodes re-locating caused our wallets to unsync, therefore other nodes also become unsynched with the network.

Ok so stuck transactions, that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore ,  i've managed to grab them from the mempool and include them in to new blocks,
other pools should do the same instead of just grabbing the tx's from getblocktemplate.
