Hi All,

I've noticed that some coins/tokens create their launch announcements on other cryptocurrency forums/threads/boards before coming to announce here on Bitcointalk. I will like those of us who are aware of those other forums to kindly post links to such forums so that more people can be aware and not miss out on new coin launches. Thanks in anticipation. They are not using another forum and the majority of them are using this place as their main forum to launch their projects. You can find the latest project that didn't create their own thread in this place through use icodrop.
Some icos may not create their thread here.  But for more information and you can check complete list of projects through use icodrop or cryptorank.

This site used to be the front page for these kinds of things and still is for the most part. The issue is wading through all the crap to find the real stuff. My advice would be to sign up for some reputable news sites to get their newsletters. Spend some time on subreddits. If you don't have a personal drive and passion to follow this stuff then coming across a gem in blockchain at this point is going to be tough.

No you are wrong, many new projects released their ANN page on this forum and you will only find projects with fundraising implemented on ICO rating websites so thats another useful source, websites like ICOBENCH or ICORATING and IEO projects too

I suggest you look at this site. They are a non-profit organization and they do their work for free. In addition, they do very detailed research about the projects. Whitepaper reading and analysis, analysis of social media accounts, past experiences of people in the team are very detailed analysis. If you want to participate their discord channels and so you can have a chance to discuss projects in more detail.

How many people actually follow the ANN threads to learn about new startups? I just started managing bounty campaigns on here and I'm wondering if I created an ANN thread, if it would boost the exposure to the startup or not?

You should also notice they do have reddit and telegram channel where they can announce all activity they are doing. Some projects I've seen are more active on reddit and some on telegram than in forumsm they rarely go here but will update the thread about new roadmaps or new exchange listings. Its the telegram that wins for now, its just very interactive for them to which they have control who ever posts there and they can delete posts.

Well, bitcointal is and will probably be the no.1 forum for a long time for launch announcements. There are some other forums too but their traffic simply can't compare with this place.. I used to use moonforum once upon a time so that's one I can reference for memory. Just google "bitcoin forum" or "cryptocurrency forum" or something like that and you will get dozens of similar like forums. But as I aforementioned, this is the best place for launch announcements, so you aren't missing anything!

If you want information in daily project launches especially the IEO and ICOs, I believe the best website is icodrops.com. They have sifted top projects featured on thier website also, bitcoin is another important forum to visit. Infact, with these two locations, I am sure you won't miss out on any launch announcements

There's no other forum that's better than bitcointalk.org. This is the best forum that I've seen relatively for bitcoin mainly but also became a cryptocurrency forum as a whole which includes variety of altcoins. You can search those tokens first with coinmarketcap.com or coingecko.com or any other price trackers and if it appears, click on their 'Announcement' tab. But if still haven't found, most of these ANN threads are posted to their respective websites. Another way is to lurk on two sections of the forum: Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) and Tokens (Altcoins). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0)

i've used bots in this case at telegram, so when there is a new project that opens the thread then i get a notification on the telegram. but for now i no longer use it because i was already not active there

There are some sites in the crypto space that are now being used and has many users, but not as much as we have on bitcointalk.org, which is the first the forum in the crypto space. However, most projects use btt forum, because they believe in its multifaceted number of users.

Bitcoin Talk is the main forum for cryptocurrency launch, usually the projects choose to launch here because of there's alot of members and the forum itself is active. Sometimes, the forum moderators might have some rules against something but these projects doesn't or maybe they can't publish without breaking the rule, so, they just go to Bitcoin garden/other forums and share their ANN thread in that forums. It's not an issue at all and this thread is nonsense as there's alot of projects launching only on Telegram/Discord... you're the one that should research and look for new projects. It's your own responsability.. Take a look also at Steem and Medium, there might be some projects having their starts there.

You can cryptotalk.org website to share the many projects announcement with the proper rights reserved. Since they are having the new forum they will not available for the scammers. There are many people working also for their campaigns here in this forum.
If you want find the listed ICO project means you can use the ICObench website to find those stuffs bro.

and what is the main reason of the op why he is still looking for another forum to check for new projects? this forum itself is more than enough to get a glimpse of new projects. others like bitcoingarden cant even compete with the traffic this forum is getting. this is the reason why most good projects are launched here because of the huge community it has.
 but he can always use the google search if he want more of this.

cryptotalk.org? Are you sure with that forum? Have you joined there or take research to know about the capability of the forum?
To be honest I am not really sure with the new forums. They will be hard to bring in investors since the traffic is still rather small. Regarding scammers, they will be always there and everywhere even it is in an old or new forum.

Among the other crypto forums bitcointalk ranks the top and that is where the priority of the projects is. If you are not sure about this, you should check out the Announcements (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0) where hundreds of new threads are created in one day. After being a place where the community is gathered, why should projects rotate to others? I guess they would like their projects to be more widely recognized.

in my opinion, bitcointalk is still the no.1 forum for cryptocurrency launch announcements. could not find a better one so far.
every good blockchain has been published first here in the forum and i think that will stay that way.  ;)

Although i know there are a lot of cryptocurrency forum out there, i think when it is come to bitcointalk we will get really help from people in here. Usually i use bitcointalk as place to look information about altcoins, because in here some people are very neutral. If project is bad they will say bad, if it is good, they will say good. Only depends on ourself how we filter any information in here.

Mostly you will find lunching of projects on this forum. But I recently visited a site (https://www.coincurb.com/news/) it look really good. There rating structure about the project look decent And you will also finds latest news about the upcoming projects.

This is only my opinion, Projects that do not publish or announce their project launching here are hiding something, they know that members of this forum scrutinize projects that comes and made their announcement here, if they have announcement elsewhere they should also launch one here, this is the best place to look for new project, because of Bitcoin's popularity.
Why would they not open their project announcement here or create a thread here if they want more leads, this is the best place to start.

Onthink almost every project create their Ann in bitcointalk. Cause bitcointalk is the most popular forum in this space. And if you are interested in ICO or ieo project then you can follow ICO bench or icodrops. But the problem is most of those project never come to the market.

Its better to get information here in the forum, as we will be able to see other insights and thoughts about the project. Some also provides proof how the project seems not legit. I know we can analyze it thru their websites, team and and other details but sometimes we can't just do all the background checking, there are still some people who are good in finding fault that can make us think whether it will affect the projects credibility. It is really still for us to decide but this forum is helpful in checking projects potential for success as well in legalities. If we already eye some project from other sites, this forum can be our background checking.

If you want another page to refer to you can visit here bitcoingarden.org/. Bitcoingarden is a smaller version of Bitcointalk, here also has bonus campaigns, projects about to release etc.

Announced before than on the Bitcointalk? Maybe you will find some informations on Twitter at random or on ICOBench. But many projects are announcing their projects on Bitcointalk forum because here are real experts and here they will find many valuable informations.

For me, bitcointalk site is the best place i can find all of coin announcements.
You don't really need other sites to get information about coin launch because they can be paid to promote the coin.
Just feel free to read the announcements here and always doing our own research about the project.

You can find lot many such groups in telegram where people or announcing about the ICO, listing, delisting, airdrop etc., I would not suggest any group to you. Please do your research on this and conclude. If someone suggest you any coin or any channel do your research before falling for it.

There is no need to spread awareness on this. As most of us are not after this new most of the time fake launch. And one who needs will do their study. I think if you are taking initative of spreading awareness then Blockchain would be preferred and request thing over such launches.

If you are interested in a particular project, google their ANN thread and telegram link. The most announcements are published only on Telegram, it is definitely the fastest and safest way to find out what is going on with a project.

Personally, what I can't find on this mother cryptocurrency forum look to me as strange and something to be carefull about. Many project team can out smart you to post their garbage project somewhere else to scam gullible investors of their money.
Looking carefully, this forum has the best guys that can figure out projects with fake teams, fake websites and social Medias. I have learned many from this forum and wouldn't advise you to seek any project to invest in outside this forum as there is likely going to be an exit scam at the end. Ensure to invest what you can avoid to loose because of the volatility nature of the  market.
