That proves, Facebook is a bad platform, they only need advertising money, :( accept a fraudulent ad for their own product. Regarding Libra, I see a lot of crooks are taking advantage of it. , But all are scams.

It helps a lot to read a little here and there about the latest news about crypto. It will not only help you keep updated about the latest developments, it will also keep you relatively safe from scams such as this.

We can read even here in a crypto forum about pathetic members asking where to buy Libra, how to buy Libra, whether it is a good investment, or they will HODL it because it is owned by a very popular company. This kind of individuals are likely to fall to the Libra scams found not only on Facebook but in other social media platforms also.

That where they get the idea of selling a non existing token - from people trying to know where to buy Libra despite it not launched yet. They tend to buy advertising just scam, didnt they ask documents to people advertising it facebook?

It is however an indication that people are really up to own some of Libra even it being just a stablecoin and were stopped by EU countries.

Most of the investors are waiting for libra launch. Because Facebook will reach entire world so easily it will going to moon. But you must stay this platform because Bitcointalk is the leading forum in crypto platform. So all the updates will come this platform and many scammers are available in all the platform so before you must analyse two to three times. I am also monitoring the updates so before launch everyone ask some clarification so we will find the exact updates

You are right that is something happening every day. They supposed to had crypto ads opened for anyone, but it's restricted.

And getting a campaign being accepted can be a pain in the ass

So I don't know how someone can advertise itself as a seller of the libra currency

below you can find a screenshot of one of the ads the scammers are running on facebook.

DON'T FALL IN THIS TRAP!

Yes, even in Telegram this kind of scams area spreading.
Be really careful on what you are buying.

Same goes for buying bitcoin for there are a lot of fakes out there that would give you bitcoin cash instead of bitcoin for the price of 1 btc each.
That is just some evil work. Dont be a victim.

Indeed, this is the season as you say "FRAUD" and if you are not careful it will fall into their grip. the crypto situation is lethargic resulting in this easily making people swayed.

There's nothing wrong in buying a cryptocurrency that only focus for payments lol. It's like talking to somebody not to buy a safe haven token or a stable token like tether. It's for payment in their platform. I think it will be done for the marketplace on fb since there's a feature on that platform for marketplace. Plus buying stars for streamers.

Just make sure not to click ads on facebook or in other platforms that could mislead you in buying fake libra.

It is the reason why we need to have our own research before buying because we might fall into this kind of situation, scammers will do everything to deceive you and that is why you need to be cautious and have enough understanding because they will take advantage of you just to get the benefits that they wanted.

That is why take some time each day to be aware of crypto innovations. Facebook already thinks of its own money but for our own safety, we must investigate thoroughly before each behavior even if it is FB who advertise it.

On the other hand I assure you if Libra sale will start, it will be finished in seconds. It will not even have time to advertise it.

Very careful my friend, facebook is blocking libra adverts when they see them or someone report them. They are similar to google ad sense, they also approve all kinds of frauds without checking them. It is automated process, no human interaction that's why so many scam adverts.

On the contrary, that is an indication that people are not doing their research. It speaks a lot of laziness. These people are reading one-liner here and another one-liner there and receive everything assuming that it is what it is, which is clearly not the case. For sure, they do not even know what Libra is currently facing right now. They even do not know Libra at all.

Basically, they are not even filtering how libra coin ads appear on facebook. Or maybe, did we think if some extensions or scripts runs these ads? Because we are subjective to facebook itself, what if they are not responsible for these kinds of ads. Technically, if they will going to launch their own cryptocurrency, it is a common sense to block fake ads like these that might affect their project's reputation at all.

Funny to see fake Libra on facebook itself. There has been a lot of ads promoting fake Libra airdrops and many of my gullible friends even tried to follow it but I stopped most of them from filling up the KYC. Even a google search would yield many of such fake sites in the first page.
Crypto world is full of scam and people should be very cautious and should research every bit of information. Even though they might not ask for KYC or your private key, they may install a malware that would give up your credentials.

afacebook need  protect thier users from fraud i dont see the reason why they accept ads that use popularity of thier coin that not even launch . every ads should be review by facebooks team  before accepting it.

As far as I know, the Libra project has been halted and the Libra token has never been launched. Sadly, many people do not even research the project before deciding to invest, which only makes the scammers more and more developed.

Maybe it's an advertisement to deceive people. Facebook has officially made a statement about making Libra but has not yet released its purchasing mechanism. I think we have to be vigilant because of the many deceptive practices nowadays.

I agree that advertisements or invitations that entering our emails are a form of fraud. Libra Coin is still facing a legal case and a company as big as Facebook will definitely not carelessly sell products that are not yet legally legal because the consequences are huge.

Imagine, what sort of perfect technology do they want to release when they cannot control something simple, if they are coming up with such project, they have a very great team which I think they should have been able to think deep for them to know things like this will come up ahead of their launching which they ought to have blocked.

If it was to block other genuine project that are their rivals now, they will do that but to think of managing this one is difficult, it is a shame on them if they don’t act fast on this and this may actually destroy their Libra existence if scammers manage to discourage people about Libra with scam Libra coins, if they don’t stop it now, by the time they release the original project, you will not see people buying it that much again.

When you have more than one libra codes in the market, it simply means others shall be fake/scams and only one can be the original. If scammers can be promoting fake Libra on facebook that means facebook does not filter their adverts before approving it.

They made it clear before that the launch of LIBRA will be in 2020.
SO every post and adds now or token selling are not legit and just trying to scam people.
Libra is true but you need to be aware of it, keep in mind that you must verify every ads and news.

demand breeds fraud. it is unlikely that developers will sell the token from different sources. be careful now in the crypto world there is a lot of deception. if you want to shop, better contact the team.

There was an earlier announcement that Libra would be officially launched in 2020, and I really do not get why I'm seeing all the promotions right now, but I would just like to urge everyone to be careful and intentional on how they go with their plans, and investments. I believe we are all to smart now to allow scammers get the best of us. Let's play safe, and be guarded at all times.

You should have done a screenshot, your is just an allegations I am very active in Facebook and so are my friends, but we have not seen an advertisement claiming to be that they are Facebook coin or Libra Coin, I will consider your post as FUDS, obviously it's a scam promotion and those updated to the latest news about Libra coin will not take this advertisement seriously.

There is no one Libra coin on the market now as Facebook cryptocurrency is not yet released. However, we can expect that it will be launched despite all the haters and boycott of Libra from the side of some countries like France. Recently, Facebook announced that the company's plans to release cryptocurrency in 2020 have not changed. The plans are to expand the association, it is planned to attract a number of banks there.
