Title: How to find scam coins
Post by: ppblockchain on September 30, 2019, 06:19:09 AM
There are many many dozens of cryptos launching each and every month, and side by side that there are many new tokens come out of a series of Initial Coin Offering or ICOs. The desire among a wide pool of people who invest for these kinds of opportunities has grown so much, even despite the fact that cryptos have been shabby in 2018.

All of these elements unite to attract scammers. In the end, if investors have shown that they have the will to throw dollars toward a highly hypothetical crypto, they seem to invest in a crypto that might be fraudulent ICOs or tokens.

it is difficult to recognize scammers, in 2019 I came across 3 such projects in which I invested. completely disappointed in the ICO. now I take part only in the IEO they have more confidence as the participation is on the stock exchange.

Blame the investors. They do not want to learn,,, say to them about profit and potential and they already have $$ signs in their eyes. You do not need to find scam coins. Assume they are all scams. It is the non-scam coin that is incredibly difficult to find,,, and those who can find it will not be shilling about it for sure.

Its really hard to find legit projects in crypto space today, 2018 was a bit better in terms of scam projects compare to 2019, its like scammers are in every corner of crypto in 2019 so i consider all new projects to be scam until i am able to detect that i was wrong, i have joined up to 40 different airdrops and only 7 are listed on exchanges, some turned scam and others stop working, same thing for bounties as well

That is true I even came across with 10 or so projects, I think the reason why they were not fulfilling their promises due to lack of fund and interest. I had done my research and found out they all were real, but they forced to stop their project because of that.
a business model needs initial fund to develop it if they failed to meet their minimum funding. It's not surprising to see them closing it, and from this point too I can tell that Luck is also an essential part that we need to have in crypto investment.

I want to add more and took points from your article

1. Know the team behind the coin
How to find team behind ICO? there is lot of tools we can se for image reserve. I mostly using few tools like google images and yandex images.

2. Read the whitepaper
Sometimes project has good white paper, but behind of good whitepaper they have, it from plagiarized WP. so, kindly check using plagiarism tools when you reading WP.

3. Look for unrealistic crypto claims
Correct, if someone saying if they can give 200% - 300% within a day or months of profits, it will 99.9999% ponzi or potentially scam, please wake up, no one can be rich overnight. Please, don't be fooled because you want higher profits. Even IEO will become a scam, so be careful.

4. Not being open-sourced
I don't know open source if really matter or not, because many projects open their codes for public, but sometimes I still find a project hiding their malicious program. Maybe for open source we need to check how many people join to audit. If there is any project with github account, but no one join, be careful, please scan file after download before you are installing it.

Btw, you are making good articles. keep it up

Crush out luck. This is not some kind of lottery or gambling. Cryptocurrency is full of scams but that does not mean that there are no good ones. However, it will not be coming for you. You will search for them. It is hard but there is no other way. It takes a lot of hard work to find the gem among a mountain of stones. You will need to carefully read the whitepaper, study them even. Aside from that, you will need to do a little investigation of the persons that make up the development team. Do not just take their website profiles as truth. Many of them are using fake pictures, bogus names, made-up experiences, etc. You need to search for them one by one. You also need to contact them with your questions and doubts about their project. These are just some of the necessary steps to do before safely investing in an ICO.

Good and useful suggestions but besides of that numerous suggestion and ideas still we cant be sure what projects will be turn into scam nowadays! Because sometimes those so called scammers were also look's like a legit one, and after the intended time and also the raised funds was enough already to feed their greed it will gone with the wind including our hard earned money. that was base on my personal experience during 2018 when i was investing in ICO the project was looking good, transparent, detailed whitepaper verifiable team but suddenly it will vanished away.

I believe introducing new ICO is just like lunching new business. Business can collapse because of miscalculation. So same things might happen with Ico's. Not all project are scams some project dye due to miscalculations. But Investor should analysis market trend completely. Checking team and Whitepaper is good but a person should visit trusted site (https://www.coincurb.com/news/) check project rating and remarks. This should surely help you to find scam coins.

It is clear that many investors feel disappointed because they lost investment.  It is difficult to determine whether ICO has great potential or not.  There are only a few ICOs that are really good and can be developed.
The last ICO that seemed successful and I participated in was MiracleTele.  But finally destroyed after they managed to get success.  Investors are disappointed and now look like trash at very cheap prices.

Honestly speaking if you compare 2018 or 2017, there was no dearth of scam projects. There have always been projects that turned scam or sold off to another company leaving investors at loss and projects that were pump and dump to sell off at a profit for the owners.

What matters is not the time of bull or bear market but the lack of knowledge and ignorance of the investors who take part and promote these projects. Some are there knowing that it will be a loss, they are just cashing in the big bull pump and are going to sell off then, other enthusiastic investors are the biggest losers here, because they hope of a big project recognition will make them lose.

In order to find scam projects you need to know how good projects are. Each of the projects is different and I can not list the standard ways to find them. But if you get enough experience with a nonscam project, you will not have any trouble finding scammers. Also always read the project's whitepaper carefully, search the team thoroughly, and look for the scam accusation section here.

My sincere apology if I have a contrary opinion about this because I belief there is no way we can detect a scam coin or project.
My reason is that, these set of bad elements also read and update themselves in their game and knows all the pitfalls
Your article is great and serves as a guide but there are some superstar scammers that will convince even the pros.
I like to follow my instinct in determining a scam coin.

There is better way of detecting scam projects than doing research on the projects but some few scam projects will successfully scam people because they are near perfectly made, they leave no trace of doubts and they keep projects development alive for a long time enough to deceive people

Scam projects have grades, some will just take you few research to spot them and some you will never know that they are scam until they turned scam, the best way to avoid wasting time doing heavy research is binance exchange, invest in projects from binance because binance have already did the half work for you, they have a serious reputation to keep alive

As cryptocurrency increases it's adoption, it's really inevitable for a various coins to pop up. Scams are also increasing which is a pity for everyone. We cannot stop them, so it's better to prevent ourselves from being a victim. Actually the link you gave is a good article. It is well explained and can really be helpful to investors.

Indeed this is not kind of gamble, but that was the truth. I have been doing research about some ICOs before, all of them were real. With real people, real company.
I have invested in some kind of trading bot based company, they have their experts and license. 3 months after the ICO concluded, they closed their company and refund the money because they were not able to develop it because of lack of demand and problem with their partnership. On the other hand, I invested in an unknown project and survived until now.
The first one is a quite reputable company while the other one is just so-so but survive. If it is not luck then what?

Good to see that you transfer now to IEO now because big chance for your money will grow than the ICO who among of them are failed or it is scam or the hardest part you will wait for nothinf because they did not list the coin and the investors given the hope . IEO now is the alternative way and ICO is not good anymore it can cause only your money to gone.

In the first case, you are not lucky. You made your research and ended up with a legit project. It so happened that you failed to gauge its potential to succeed or not. But since you invested in a legit project, instead of becoming a victim and bitterly complain of an exit scam or developers suddenly vanishing into thin air without warning, you ended up receiving a refund.

In the second case, it does not mean that since it is unknown to you, it will not succeed. Or perhaps it is only your own research that tells you it is unknown. To their partners, other investors, supporters, and start up scouts, the project might be showing a lot of potential.

In both cases, luck was never the key.

Unfortunately there is not any way to recognize scam ICOs. Every investor joins ICO after research with the hope of appreciation of his/her investment but not every ICO succeeds. As stated by one Sr member in his post, he invested money with a renowned project which could not launch their product and refunded investor's money whereas other new project in which he invested money is surviving. We can only do our best research to find a good ICO but it is difficult to analyze its future in any way.

It's not actually difficult if they have time to do the necessary diligence to search some projects. But since IEO have been launching since then, there we less the procedure to do some processing. More people are tend to it than the usual ICO now. With regards, to campaign, many hunters are blindly promoting many scam projects and this is inevitable since they are just keep on joining without any due diligence.

Many identification and characteristics of scam coin. what concerns me when I see a new coin is. the purpose of the project. the developer team. and the progress that has been made is appropriate and real with what is happening. but it all returned to the vision and mission of the coin itself. if it is not clear and managed not seriously it will definitely end up being a garbage coin. and make investors think they are victims of failed projects and get feels like get scammed or think maybe it's really a scam coin.

There are plenty of helpful articles on the web, but what should an investor do if projects seems legit and even has an illusion of working product (everybody can use photoshop or write a script)? I would take part in IEOs on big exchanges to avoid scams.

Developers are good at conceiling their real intent when conducting ICO that is why investors nowadays are skeptical in joining ICOs. Most people are waiting for coins to be listed due to this. A lot of legit ICOs are being affected to it, that is why a lot failed and IEO is born.

They forgot to mention plagiarize contents of the webpage and whitepaper can be one reason for it being a scam. The scam accusation threads in the forum is a very rich section where to find scam projects. You don't even have to investigate yourself though its recommended. The end of ICO did make the screening for investors to see which is which.

the simplest way is to check directly with their team because project scams usually always fake it and in my opinion because of this they do a lot of senior members who can track the awkwardness about their profile and usually senior members will make a report on the scam accusations in this forum and I'm usually a little rely on information from them, and if they don't do it I do my own research even though I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I see that this task is very difficult and it is very difficult to determine the fraud or futility of the project.  For all the time I participated in the Bounty companies in past years, my coins did not show a good result.  Of course there are such coins that I sold, but most of all I left for long-term storage, in the hope of making a good profit.  To date, these coins have no price at all.  Based on this, I believe that I will do it right if I get rid of all the coins, and I will buy the highest-rated cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum, whose prospects are known not only to me, but to all cryptocurrency users.

Btw, you are making good articles. keep it up

I definitely agree with above points and i would add some annotations from my point of view:

5. Look on the website project
It could seem pointless, but many of scam coins had or have impressive homepage of websites with many animation, beautiful color etc. Human mind associates beauty with some reliable stuffs, so beautiful website = reliable project. Keep in mind that it is psychological effect.

6. Have a look how much money organizers want to collect
If you spot that goal of funding is extremely huge so do you think that developers will working hard? Why they should do that? Them bank accounts are fully from bucks ICO or IEO and implementation of roadmap is so hard.

7. Campaign marketing
This point is partially compatible with point 5. During ICO many scam projects have perfect marketing. I mean twitters per hour, post on facebook fanpage 20 per day, professional session and presentation video on the youtube. Be aware that projects during ICO are totally unrealistic. It are only ideas not real products.

By the way article is good and i have to commend of the author for hard working. Keep going!

This has been taking badly from previous years, and now it's hindering lot of investors who avoided themselves in getting into crypto. Scammers will only be detected once the project was launced, sadly the ICO token listed has no definite trading value.

You can find scam coin by an intense due diligence toward the project of the coin.
we will find many red flags in scam coin such as team profile, whitepaper content, etc.
The most important to find scam is the time, you will need more time so you can find them

Somewhat difficult to distinguish, because most coins are scam because they do not reach sales targets. For me, I usually observe from the total supply of coins, if the amount is too fantastic, I usually ignore it. Well, to avoid getting hit by a scam, you can do this by looking at the bounty manager. For gift managers who already have a good reputation, the average project they bring will succeed. and one more thing can be seen from the reviews, but if ICO is very cunning, the brand will fake reviews and ratings

Do you have 4 strong point from your article. and Interested with this both.

1. Know the team behind the coin

this is was same way for me when trying to investigate the project team. most of project nowadays are using fake name and photo for their team. and the stupid things when they using fake facebook account for their evangelist or angel investor and try to made us believe  ;D

2. Read the Whitepaper.

bdw I'm Indonesian Translator, so of course, I must check their whitepaper as well for investigation. we should be careful with this point, due some of their concepts are irrational for using blockchain. and as investor/bounty hunter, we must be more experts to analyze this part.

Most of us didn't how to find or look or see a scammed coins but we have the basics to determine it like knowing the team behind the coin or the team that created the group and produces the coin. If thier was a spreedsheet so there must be also a whitepaper to see if the coin was true.

Not really hard for me if you are just not lazy to do some research about the project before investing and not just invest because they show you digits that you can earn.

It is important that when you invest in a project you trust it 100% because if not then you have a doubt about that project and you will only have a doubt because you see something wrong about the project then just ignore it.

now there are lots of new projects or new coins being launched and you can check them out, it's easy to find or see a scam coin, before investing better check all the details of the project and the team that works behind it. as has been explained by people here that it is the best way to find scam coins so bounty hunters or the investors are not fooled.

Sometimes scam projects have very good details such as convincing whitepapers or have a good website appearance. It's hard to distinguish a scam project unless we know the details about the developer team. Many scam projects were revealed because the developer team listed was someone else's photo

It's better to do research before investing. If we don't want to do research, more we invest in tokens or coins that have already been traded on the market and in my opinion this is one of the safe choices as long as we invest in coins that already have a product.

I would like to share my previous post that could be used as a checklist in determining if a coin is scam or not. I hope it will be of useful reference to other crypto enthusiasts. Please see the checklist below.

1. Does it have a sound business plan and original and not a copy paste idea?
2. Does it already have an MVP?
3. Does it have a Github repository already?
4. Do the development team are capable in delivering the product?
5. Does the team's identities verifiable or have been verified?
6. Does it have a realistic roadmap?
7. Does the team give utmost importance to their promises and perform deliverables?
8. Does the project exercise more transparency on project related matters?
9. Does the project's tokenomics been distributed fairly?
10. Does the project have positive peer reviews among trustworthy members of the community?

Earn money through cryptocurrency is not an easy way as most everyone thinking especially newcomers, yeah I'll say just newcomers who end up in lost their all of money when decided to invest in cryptocurrency. The reason is simple, they just pick an altcoin who suggested by someone else but they didn't know the token/coin itself.

It seems like they just take a decision by hype and an emotional which should not be done to become an investor. But, they deserve to accept this situation in order to they are aware that become an investor must have a knowledge about it. There is a bunch of article such as you mentioned and indeed it should be used as an elementary knowledge for them.

Many investors who want to profit in investing in an ico or ieo project at this time, but not infrequently they are instead trapped in an ico project that is indeed a scam because it is limited knowledge in assessing a project is a scam or not. In choosing a real project, of course we must look at various factors such as
      1. Team,
A company can walk and develop with a reliable team. The success of a coin is not young, much will depend on the experience, expertise, and teamwork in the team.
      2. Roadmap / project target.
The Roadmap will usually announce targets and missions that will carry out usually quarterly and will notify interested people by:

      • Product in progress.

      • Product to be issued.

      • Presale and sale to the public.

Investors  don't believe if lookout for a roadmap that is “too good to be true” because usually, it's a trick to cheat.
      3. Whitepaper.
The whitepaper will inform investors about the Coin in detail from the mission, the team, to the technology to be used, Whitepaper can also be seen as a “proposal” of the coin for ICO to investors. False companies usually either do not have a Whitepaper because they are not professional enough to make an ordinary Whitepaper, or the company cannot describe their company, vision, mission and ideas in a reasonable manner.
That's a little knowledge for us to be able to avoid project scams in investing in ico or ieo.

Here is the good example of scam project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188130.msg52575229#msg52575229

If you check it you will see that they use fake team just to start an ICO.

Many thanks to forum members helping us to reveal those fake scam ICO. Its really hard to find scam project at the start but with the help of each member we can  see it early.
Scam accusation section is highly appreciated in this regard. When I investigate any projects, I also check whether the project is there or not. Even it protected me one time.

Most of them don't have enough transparency and once community bite this scheme, they tried to list the project to exchanges and will do pump and dump to victimize innocent people and once they get what they want, they leave the project without any trace - a classic exit scam! I think the community should always be vigilant about this type of scam.

Like the KYC, i think instead of submitting ID pictures that can be faked then why not submit government certifications that clearing the individual to launch a project that if without it then investors can now easily to refrain of investing to that project.

      Good points sir.
In addition, this is just my own personal opinion, I usually indicate a scam coin with the presence or absence of team & product introduction at AMA. It has been ascertained if a coin that has no AMA, will definitely end up with a scam.
The second is product. Products that are already running usually make investors more confident that the coin project is true & runs smoothly. Meanwhile, if the product is still in concept and has not been realized, then we can be sure the market price is not so good. It could be a project that is ignored in the future.
For me a scam is not only a team that runs away with millions of money, but the products offered at the beginning of an unfinished, can be indicated as scam.

Most of us have experienced facing scam projects and I admit that it's really frustrating. No matter how hard we try to avoid, scammers will always be around since Cryptocurrency always involves money. Multiple experiences of being scammed could make us wiser since we will be able to be more observant to get rid of fake projects. A series of research before entering or joining such a project would be a big help for us to know if we're on the right track. The team behind a certain coin has a big impact on its reputation so we must be smart to check its background.

Scam coins or projects can normally be seen after performing a thorough research on the project because the contemporary scammers are clever enough not to be easily identified. It is always good for the investor to study the team members. Check their various social media accounts for coherence in information they provide. These scammers normally have their social media accounts being newly registered. Some also have incoherence in the information they provide in their various social media platforms.

Doing a deeper research about the team members of the projects offer good balance of decision-making when participating and investing with the project. Knowing the real identity of the team will guide you since how the creator success before will definitely give a high chance for the new one to experience the same with their new one. If the team is really serious the project will be successful, on the other-hand, if the team is dummy that will also give a hint not to follow or support as it will be a waste of time and money.

I also think that it will better if we avoid submitting KYC if we are not sure if the project is a scam because they may used it to scam other people and we are the ones who will get the blame.

I think every ICO launched has its own funder. Logically, every ICO that is launched always achieves a soft cap, or basic target. So, the investor will never lose money even if the project is not successful. They only target Hardcap to get extra money from outside investors. This is if the writing on their website is correct. I assume so, because the issue of scam does not affect the new project.

Your article forgot to mention about those shitty clone coins. Clone coins also include coins that have no unique feature of itself other than copying features from other coins. Most of the altcoins that are clone of other coins are scam coins. Those coins gets premined by the developer and then they dump in into the market. Thus they always end up dying. So avoid investing on those coin.

Search for it or detect it quite easily. starting from the small thing is to recognize the market and also see the volume conditions whether it is good enough or there is no price movement so that there is a lot of decline and in my opinion another thing to consider is the progress of the project whether it is in accordance with the roadmap and whitepaper or not

Lol. Totally agree! A project doing IEO doesn't guarantee that it will not end up as a  scam at its a grave mistake to believe as such that IEO's are better than ICO's where in fact IEO's are just recycled ICO's tapping the services of an exchange to generate funds for them and distribute tokens to its investors in an efficient way!

I believe any scam project could definitely conduct an IEO since most of these exchanges don't really care if the project has anything to offer to the community, e.g. a working product, and they only want additional revenue that could be acquired thru hosting the project's  IEO in their platform and the possibility to gain from a major pump and dump scheme afterwards!

It is actually the way you said but the ICO related fraud ranging from fake ICOs to exchange scam is limited nowadays because of the introduction of the IEO. Exchanges that engage in IEO must have first of all see the viability and authenticity of a project before accepting its listing on their exchanges and that thereby safe the potential investors from falling victims of scammers.

      Good article.

Specially doing a careful investigation about the project team is very important. Who are they? Can you find them anywhere in social media? Are they well known? What does their pages tell you? You can even try to contact them and ask about their involvement in the project (if their page doesn't talk about it).

Quite a lot of ICOs have been deceiving their investors throughout 2018 until now. There is nothing better than eradicating it until there is no room for them to commit this crime. They do not care about the impact that comes from their actions, because they only think of money and run.
In the long run, the same thing is not good for crypto, because they have the potential to destroy what has been achieved by this technology until now.

You can figure it out easily if it's scam or not through the chart itself. Wherein the history of growth rate can be found .if it's have no chart which not yet listed on some exchange.  Then make a simple search around the internet so that you can easily find some sort of information that can prove how good the project is..  Feedback iand proof s the most important mate remember that.  Don't easily fall on other ppl words and statements to avoid regrets at the end.

Tricky questions to the developer and the project manager help to identify scam, if the project is created for scaming, from the very first questions this is revealed.

maybe read their whitepapers and look for a team first before investing.

Investing in the world of cryptocurrency right now must be careful because there have been so many victims of fake projects, we as bounty hunters and investors must first explore every project that we follow so as not to feel disadvantaged by the teams that designed the scamer project.

Investing in crypto has always required people to be careful, but those who invested in 2017 bull run were just lucky because EVERY coin got so inflated thanks to Bitcoin. So people thought they were being smart. Bounty hunters cheated and no one cared either cause everyone seemed to be making money.

      Assume everything is a scam.

I never thought the way you gave it could succeed in finding out about the scammers project, because in my opinion for now the scammers project can even fake the team and the road map they made, because the fraudsters have been very good at designing everything. So to find a project that is fraudulent or not is very difficult to ascertain.

I agree with this, we need to gather some feedbacks from different influencers/personalities promoting that certain project but its very important to make your own research and always trust your instincts. If you think the project have red flags then dont hesitate to leave that project and move on. Look another project that will pass your standards.

it is difficult to recognize scammers, in 2019 I came across 3 such projects in which I invested. completely disappointed in the ICO. now I take part only in the IEO they have more confidence as the participation is on the stock exchange.

Maybe on 2019 is not good time for ICO project because I check not one of ICO success with higher price on exchange market, today is not time for IEO or ICO but we have smart using or investing money in some altcoin kinds and palying situation when have to buy or when have to sell, lets forget an ICO and focus trading with altcoin available on exchange.

Scam coins are always dead on arrival. Don't be deceive by their listing on CMC, or on exchanges, they can go to any lengths to make the coin genuine. Simply keep close eyes  on the project team; their attitude, behavior, response to technical questions and communication skills (they are always rude). Don't trust trading volume, it can be faked and most of them hardly have trading volume or good price movement.

The old tactics for catching the fraud and scam projects usually work but the last outcome depends on the professionality of the crypto investor. For identifying the scammer, checking the social media accounts of team members, reading whitepaper with attention, asking from the other developers about the security durability of the website of the project can be the reason why not all investors fall to the scam project trap often.

Exactly the point. There are some coins which take after the name or symbols of already listed coins with the intention of deceiving investors who do not know much about the coin. These coins are normally dumped on the market. Also, there are coins which do not have any unique add up to the crypto space but just a repetition of ideas and product of already existing projects. All these projects do not have future.

Something that you should know, cryptocurrency is not a bubble as said by many people out there. The innovation is popping up and use cryptocurrency or blockchain as main system. Yeah, I think this is the reason why cryptocurrency still exist although at 2018 the price of them just slumped down just because the regulation from some countries.

Regardless, the investor especially new investor who fall to scam and lost their money, I think that is their mistake we can't blame everything to the scammer. This forum have gave many thing to avoid the investor fall to scammer, actually it is simple way read the article and when you find some projects you have to analyst it and I'm sure you will be safe to scam project.

Yeah, I believe there is many people who said cryptocurrency is not magic thing to make someone get rich instantly on this forum. You have to use your horse sense to analyst what project who will make you gain money and make you lose money, and lastly don't be easily fooled by everyone's suggestion, just it and you will be fine.

Some actually can be known in the beginning they released their project. like web, whitepaper, and other aspects. but some projects do and work very neatly so we can't find mistakes from projects. many were even caught when ICO sales were finished. most important when seeing something that is not fair in a project better do not approach it.

and how to detect scam coin when it comes close to you.
Researching team members can be very successful. With some project that are in center of attention someone always
check entire team, and their CV`s.
For example I search for info with key words on google, I`m trying to check their social network accounts. There you
can see their history and are they fresh made accounts or not.

To check if the team is real people, you can write to them on social networks. Advisory, do they really know something about the project? And most probably the main thing is not to participate in projects if the team consists of immigrants USSR. As if it was not sad, but most of these projects, it is outright scam.

The one thing that you need to look out first is if what they are offering is too good to be true. Everyone in this industry want to join the train even though it already left years ago. Scammers use that opportunity to convince "amateur" or new investors with their false golden ticket to success. So if the expected profit is not realistic, there is a very high chance that the project is a scam.

Have you even bothered to check the viablity and the level of decentralization of new projects crowdfunding on "stock exchanges"? Have you even considered the long-term implications of investing in Crypto projects from such exchanges? Well, everyone is intoxicated by the potential reward. Nobody thinks about the future and survival of decentralized projects. If terrible things begin to happen in the next five years year, very few will remember encouraging them in the past and accept responsibility.

Greed is the worst enemy of a business minded person though it can push us to exceed our limits but if it backfires, we will be doomed of course. And if it is too good to be true, that is your cue to doubt and question the legitimacy of the project. It is important to learn to doubt and ask questions than trust easily and then regret.

Now often such a project is impossible to identify. Scammers have learned to create very high-quality fakes and they take into account all the nuances. They can create a perfect White paper and quality website. They can even put up photos of all team members and wind up trading volumes. All this will attract a lot of investors and a huge amount of money. But all will end one. The channel in the telegram will be closed, the topic on the forum will cease to be visited and you will not see your money. Therefore, now it is better not to participate in new ICO and gradually move to IEO or trading.

I think they can engineer the whitepaper so that it will be a little difficult, but if the timm is possible it can be identified, but that also takes time.
so it's really really hard to tell the difference.
my friend has participated in many projects and joined their bounty campaign and his estimates of the 20 he participated in were only 3 who paid, so you can imagine 17 more whether they were scams or they failed to raise funds.
but now investors have started to learn because the number of ico scams of ALT dominance has decreased dramatically, so that BTC has up to 70%, I think if this continues ALT will be difficult to rise.

They either overestimated themselves, they ran out of money, they could not collect enough money or
they broke up in the team. Then they just escaped.
