Title: [WTS] 5 - Innosilicon T2T-30TH Miners and 7 - S9's
Post by: Agrawas on September 30, 2019, 06:30:12 PM
Hi,

I am new to this hardware section but been with the forum actively for about a year. I am looking to liquidate some of my miners that are currently running and being hosted at one of the mining facility in US.

Here is the screenshot from few mins ago from my mining pool of the 12 miners I am looking to sell. If you are interested please let me know and we can figure out a price..

do you have ballpark figures in mind? it is usually helpful to list prices so to avoid all the "how much?" posts

so like 1k for each t2t and 500 per s9? kinda just made an average to get that number as a t2t is bout twice the hash of an s9 though I dont think S9's are worth much more than 300 or so - at least that is my opinion.

9500 is far too much money

more like  7500 is reasonable.

Are you willing to sell items individually? Also is the hosting facility willing to continue hosting the gear? If so that might help widen your pool of potential customers. What kind of rates are they charging if they will continue to host the machines as well.

Thanks and good luck with the sales.

It's more like $1500 for the t2t and $300 for s9.

$7500 is definitely too low will be willing to meet in between the price and make the deal.

The hosting facility will be continuing the hosting of miners if the new owners wants it. Also I will reduce the prices further since I don't have to get the miners shipped out to the buyer..
For the prices, currently they are charging $70 per KW but by mid-October/early November they will reducing the price to about $60/KW. This is an all inclusive price which means, they do the maintenance of the miners, upgrade the firmware and any other support u require during mining. I have lot more miners being hosted there for the past 4-5 months and been pretty happy with their service so far.

I bought couple of those so you’ll pay at least $1250 delivered plus customs fees and you’ll have to wait some time to get them

Look the problem is lots of gear can be found. You may want sell a t2t for 1500 and an s9 for 300 but you will be pressed to do so.

I would suggest you lower price sell 1+1 for 1300 + 250 = 1550 you may get a buyer at that.

If you sell 1 pair it will take some pressure off you. In case coins drop again at least you dumped a set of two.

Down the road if coins go up you cab raise the price.

For me I am looking to get more dense gear then you offer.

I can buy an Avalon 1066 which is 50 th and is not more efficient then a t2t 30 + a 14th your gear is only 44th. Vs the Avalon which is 50th.

I was offered about 1560 for the 50th piece  you want 1800 for your pair. Which does 44th.

So 1550 is better offer to make to sell then 1800.

Good luck with the sales.

Frankly speaking i really am not selling because btc is down, really need to raise some money..

Well @philipma1957 even with ur calculation it comes out to be approx $8k and I am expecting 1btc, which is not big of a difference.. let me know if that is something that would be a fair price for this whole lot together?

Thanks!!

While lots of gear can be found, there is a difference. Yes the gear is used, but it's been sitting in a Data center, so as long as you believe in the manufacturers quality it's not as big a concern as something out of some dudes garage  ::) ~ on that note it would be good to say how long they have been running and whether there is any warranty remaining. If so would you handle RMA for the purchaser.

Of all the prices being quoted for other gear, how much of that has taken into account Customs on top of the shipping which most have included - mainly for US residents.  This gear is landed and ready to be switched over once purchased. This is a good option for someone who doesn't want to pay extra shipping and deal with delays but wants to have hashrate.  These are all considerations I as a seller would make. I have also seen OP say make an offer, there is nothing wrong with haggling, most price high to give that wiggle room.

I honestly haven't been looking to much at gear, but everyone has been late on deliveries. There is no guarantee at this point that pre-orders or in-stock orders are moving on time. I got burned for nearly a month in May, another had about a 2 week delay last month.

Asking for 1 BTC for the whole lot.. With the drop in BTC price it''s about $8k for the whole lot of miners. That kinda puts these below the market price. I am also willing to include the shipping in this price if someone is willing to close the deal right away..

To answer couple of questions above - The miners were delivered on 29Th July so to say yes these are still under warranty and have approx 3-3.5 months remaining on the warranty. I am willing to help the buyer with the RMA if needed but they all have been running pretty solid for the past 2 months.

If someone is interested in this deal, I am willing to offer that too..
I would suggest you lower price sell 1+1 for 1300 + 250 = 1550 you may get a buyer at that.

Also to clarify, the delivery on these has been a nightmare from manufacturer, apart from delay issues with most of the people I have asked around the price is coming out to be approx $1400 shipped in US with delivery/shipping/customs etc etc

T2T-30T is going for around $800 now and many don’t have issue with customs. I doubt you can get a buyer above $900.

I have no issue on the price, atleast someone has to make an offer. Lol

Unfortunately you are facing a Tsunami of 16nm gear for sale. While price is important, most buyers are afraid they can only mine for 6 more months and these legacy units will become obsolete. ( halving ) It's a real risk. The true measure of this pricing is the buyer will want to be able to recoup his/her investment in well under that 6 months to halving. By today's metrics and at .05 per kwh that price is roughly $400-500 a unit. Probably stand a better chance on Ebay where there will be less sophisticated buyers. Good luck.

Hi All,

After my last post and due to the lack of interest in the miners, I decided to extend my contract with teslawatt which is expiring at the end of this Month. I still have 5 - Innosilicon T2T-30TH Miners and 7 - S9's miners left for sale. Prefer to sell them all together. They are currently located at the Gardenville, NV facility of Teslawatt and can be shipped first thing on 1st or 2nd of May.

Prefer to sell them as one lot and within US if possible. Will ship international at buyers expense and preferable expedited shipping to avoid any delays due to COVID-19.

Price for all 11 miners is $2500 shipped to anywhere in US. If you would like to use escrow as service, it's at buyers expense and would like to use one of the Forum seasoned escrows(minerjones, ognasty, krogothmanhattan, etc)
