Coinexchange.io is Closing Down

It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.

This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.

Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.

The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.

It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.

So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change. :(

This is Quit sad but there  is nothing they could do. when its come to  maintenance and security  its  quit  expensive  so when you are not getting  returns its  does not make it  a business.  I really  appreciate  how  the has  made it  publicly without running away with peoples  asset.   

I used to trade on them before since my tokens are listed there and it's so sad to see them closing down there service and traders should be thankful for these gesture since they didn't do an exit scam and hopefully they will became active again in future when markets fully recover.



I give them a respect for showing this gesture and by this we can tell that they are not scam.

the first exchange I used  :( :( respect Coinexchange

i think it's different from cryptopia cases.
Cryptopia closed because they got hacked and lost million of users fund but on coinexchange closed because of purely a business decision (https://www.coinexchange.io/news/post/85/)

i usually use coinexchange to trade there because they listed many coins that i can use to Arbitrase between 2/3 exchange

However, it is really sad for those who love coinexchage.io. Although it is like cryptopia, but those who are active on the exchange will not lose any money because the exchange is giving notice in advance and saying they have to withdraw money. But those who are inactive may lose some money.

Cryptopia was hacked by Cryptopia team 90%

Let that go out of the cryptocurrency market.

I don't know what is the use if they stays here in this crypto market for the people. If there be here lively then they will make money out of it we will not have any profit by the way.

that was true they faked hacked incedent so they can easily run the money of exchange users. i dont remember cryptopia has been hacked before .

Yups coinexchange.io is one of the best to use for arbitration as my brother keeps on telling in in past about this exchange but I used other one so had no time to try
Not until weeks ago when I decided to give a try for arbitration and considering using coinexchange.io next week after withdrawals all my coins in my recent site.
So sad that I cross this section just to find out that they are upon closure .now I need to find another one again

I startled coinexchange is down. They have a good time at least.

I remember when all the coin use qt wallet, everyone is suggest coinexchange as first market. Simple UI and easy to use. And also not too much drama. At least they do their job in good way, not run with user assets.

Well,,, at least they did not just continue the business for the sake of it. I think a lot of exchanges are actually just doing it for the sake of it, hoping to get listing fees and survive on that alone. More should close down if they are not offering good value to the crypto world. Maybe all new exchanges should work on a big DEX network!

The fall in the price of altcoin has caused the coinexchange to close, I read the announcement if the market improves the coinexchange will return.
Hopefully there are miracles in the future.

it's hard to understand why some small exchanges still survive like crex24, latoken. ???
I prefer coinexchange

2years bear market that what i see the reason why they need to close it. also users using thier platform decrease after continues bearmarket there are many traders also left trading.

Everything must end it’s just hurting when you are much trusting exchange for long and will suddenly close but this is business and sometimes when other he closed another good will open
Maybe you just need to move on and find other exchange now.

Maybe they will be opening another exchange soon,or already running another today who knows?businessman will always be in business

The dominance of bitcoin has made altcoin worse, this is a difficult situation for traders so that trading in each exchange has decreased volume.
the fall in the value of altcoin caused some exchanges to not be able to cover their operations.
Only popular exchanges will survive.

Coinexchange has really come a long way for. I can still remember doing my first trade there some couple of years back. It's so sad to look back and see that they won't be there again. Liqui closure came as a shock to me, now coinexchange. This is very bad and disheartening to see.

Actually we arent already needing new exchangers yet if we do consider out on how many exchangers in the market currently then you would definitely say that we arent needing anymore to those platforms.Stick on the current top tier exchangers if your favorite exchange had closed its doors.Bear market which in result for traders to leave and in result it do decrease the liquidity in result on having no profits for the platform and knowing this business do really had expenses from site maintenance to its staffs etc.
If they cant hold it anymore then its just right for them to completely stop their operation.

So sad that one of my trusted exchanges will be closing. Maybe they have good reason why they make that decision and who knows they might have good incoming projects.

What I believe is this exchange is not that popular at all but upon checking I found out that thy had a great reputation and that’s what I think would be missing by the users,I never come to use this Coinexchange but I think all of us don’t just use a single site instead we have couple of exchanged to use from so just forget this one(since you have no choice but to move to other)

What project?we are talking about exchange here not ICO so what about another project that you are talking?

I can't believe they're spending more than they're making. Look at how many coins they've added in the last few months. Listing costs 1 - 2 btc. They hide the truth.

Coinexchange.io has always been a trusted exchange and even in the end, they proved it again. Though this exchange was very underrated and people started running on fake volume exchanges. This was sad news for me, I could not believe when I got the mail! This exchange one of my first exchanges where I traded once! I hope the market condition will change to good and Coinexchangeio will come back with their own coin.

I will not forget this exchange this was my first exchange where I sold my first bounty earnings, this is sad really its a good exchange though. The competition today is really hard for exchanges from Cryptopia, NovaExchange now CoinExchange I think more will follow if the market continues to get worst in the next few years.

someone has to re-examine it, is this just a game or does it really happen for the reasons they say. very disappointing if the exchange class coinexchange must be closed.
But I think with the phrase "So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change." they are just waiting for the market time to improve confusing with these words

I never trusted them enough since I don't find the info of the owner since they are not visible but so far I didn't encounter any issue with them upon trading and mostly my tokens earn are listed here and one of the reason why I'm kinda sad since it can affect the token listing, but anyways there still a good side on this since they are honest with there total closure and let's hope that there will be no more future big exchange will follow.

there is no problem in coinexchange they are just announcing that they will close and if you have funds in that exchange you can freely widraw it before the closing schedule .

Don't relate with cryptopia because both exchanges closed down for different queries. Cryptopia got hacked and many people's lost their big and small amount of money. I do not know the results of the New Zealand police investigation. But Coinexchange.io is very reliable exchange. And they are going to close down because it’s more difficult to survive in the bearing market with lower exchange volume. You can withdraw your asset in the specific deadline which is mentioned in announcement. So, don't worry because they already give chances to withdraw your money.

So that means they risked those amount hoping those coins to pump?or this is an graceful exit as they listed shitcoins and scam currencies/tokens?
Because how would an exchange that runs for years will do such action without security measures?does this mean that they make a final move to profit before closing?thats insane and I hope holders and investors may withdrawn all their assets before the closure so it won’t be like those blending company that took away the investors fund with them upon closure

Knowing that they will soon close their exchange, they could not add new coins. So it would be more fair to developers. It doesn't matter if it's a solid project or a shit coin.

Yeah you're right Coinexchange is the best for the small Exchanges But crex24 & Graviex also has good support and does good work!! best of luck to them

I used coinexchange actually many time because some of the coins that I traded always went on that exchange though the graphics are not that good but they are still legitimate. I am already sad when I heard the news about it. Coinexchange is one of the cheapest listing exchanges that could ever bought by new projects. I just hope they will collect some money to rebuild the coinexchange because it already had some trust to all traders that used it.

Competition in the world of exchange business is very tight, for the future there will be many new exhcange open and old exchange close their serivice because their income cannot cover operational costs.
I have used it several times and have never encountered problems.
This is good example because when they close their serice, they notify users so users can do withdrawal first.

Market condition really has an impact on many Cryptocurrency projects and one that badly hit is the exchanges,  if you ask me, they should have stayed, good market condition will eventually come and  there's a big possibility that it's going to happen next year in time for Bitcoin halving, if Bitcoin halving cannot give us good market condition, I wonder what it would be.

I got the mail with this very sad news. After coinexchange, several low-grade exchanges like Next Exchange, alters exchange closed down! It really sucks that all these real volume exchanges are closing down and greedy exchanges got high rank with the fake volume! All of these happening because of the bear market condition. I hope it's gonna up again!

actually for me its not about competition but RELIABILITY is what important in running exchange and in this part many fails
the bread and butter of each exchange are the traders so if they did not took care of each for sure in sooner time they will be starving
and the temptations of having deals in not reputable company to be listed and create a pump and dump scenarios

For all of those who like promoting new exchange you must be ready because many more crappy exchange will arise and introduce stupid bounty project, either ways if you don't leave your funds on any exchange you will be fine, and traders should get used to big exchange for trading instead of low rated exchanges

Coinexchange.io was operating at 0.15% trading fees for buyer and seller. Which is higher than what the competition is offering. This is the reason for low exchange volume these days. Also it is filled with shitcoins which people won't like to trade them.
