Title: Futurebit Moonlander 2
Post by: Beermonsta on October 01, 2019, 03:13:44 PM
Has anyone managed to get multiple moonlanders to work with BFGminer, I have 1 to test and its working flawlessly, Im thinking of getting probably 2-3 more to ramp up the hashrate, and my usb hub will allow that, or should I just shell out for the Apollo?

Im really not interested in all that industrial asic crap as my house is not soundproofed!
Thanks in advance

Yeah a good hub will do at least three.

But this is an alt coin question.

I asked mods to move it.

If you want to spend more money go for the Apollo. It has the better hashrate to price ratio compared to the Moonlander 2.

If your going to get more than 2-3 Moonlanders your might as well get an Apollo. And the Apollo is designed exactly for your use case, its an ASIC miner that can compete with all the "industrial ASIC crap" as you put it, but without all the heat/noise. It runs as loud as a CPU fan in your computer, and you can run it on your desk anywhere in your house.

Also i have to say that the Apollo Miner runs smoothly and with out any issues now here nearly an year 24/7.
And as  jstefanop  said it dont make much noise and heat and you can run it everywhere you want in your House , Apartment or Room.
The moonladers 2 are louder as the Apollo.
