Title: Sportsbet.io - FRAUD
Post by: cola91 on October 02, 2019, 04:14:20 PM
hi,

Have huge problem with this bookie. I opened account 1 month ago and start gambling maybe one week ago. After couple days they ask me to verify my account before withdraw, I used camera verification and continue to use site. After day or two they told me this:

Please note that your account was disabled due to being flagged for multi accounting by our security systems.
As this is strictly forbidden by our terms and conditions we would like to extend your the ability to explain.

Under rule 3.5
You are allowed to have only one Member Account. If you attempt to open more than one Member Account, all of your accounts may be blocked, suspended or closed and any bitcoin credited to your account/s will be frozen."
and rule 3.6.
If you notice that you have more than one registered Member Account you must notify us immediately. Failure to do so may lead to your Member Account being blocked."
Please let us know if you have opened previously or actively use any other Sportsbet.io accounts. If so please name these or any such user accounts.

Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this matter.

After my explanation that I have only one account and never open another there they send me next email where they connected me with some other person, with username: Ilijash, asked me about that person. After my answer that I never had any connection they send me today this email where they want to took all my earned money. I have on my account more than 18k eur, earn more than 15k in last 7 days. You know on which match I earned a lot? On Real Madrid vs Brugge. I bet h2 on Club Brugge. I bet on other most famous clubs etc. Now they want to steal all my money. I will not allow to lose all my earned money. If they want to close my account, If they want from me to stop gambling on their site I will accept that decision but I want all my money because I earned that honestly.  There is theirs last email:

Hey cola91,

Thank you kindly for completing the verification process.

Unfortunately, your account verification was not successful due to following reason:

We have acquired evidence that you are acting in breach of our terms and conditions.

Under rule 16.1.

16.1.    Without restricting our ability to rely on other remedies that may be available to us, we may suspend and/or terminate your account, cancel any outstanding bets and/or confiscate any or all funds in your account at our absolute discretion if:

(i) we suspect that you are engaging in money laundering, illegal or other fraudulent activity while using our Website; or
(ii) we suspect that you are depositing Bitcoin which have been obtained unlawfully or in a clearly and seriously debase manner; or
(iii) we obtain evidence that you are part of a betting syndicate where several parties are involved in placing bets in order to evade the Sportsbook Rules, these Terms and Conditions or any other rules of Sportsbet.io; or
(iv) we determine that you are using any device, robot, spider, software, routine or other method (or anything in the nature of the foregoing) to interfere or attempt to interfere with the normal proper functioning of our services, any relevant device(s), software, the Website, the casino games, the sportsbook and betting information or any transactions offered on the Website and in particular will not employ or make use of any artificial intelligence or other system (including machines, computers, software or any other automated systems) designed specifically to defeat the Sportsbet.io systems; or
(v) we determine that you are colluding or attempt to collude with other players in order to defraud Sportsbet.io or its customers;
(vi) we determine that you are breaching any term of these Terms and Conditions;
(vii) we determine that you are acting in a manner that is detrimental to the conduct of our business.

As a final exemption we will return the remaining sum of your initial deposits to your Neteller address within the next 48 hours.

If you attempt to open any new accounts, please note that any deposits you send to Sportsbet.io in the future will not be returned.

Should you have any questions regarding this process please do not hesitate to contact us by replying to this email.

On this way I want to alarm all people to not be victims of their fraud. To be careful and go away from their site. Also If someone can suggest best way for me now how to receive all my money?

Hi there,
There is already a response for in the Sportsbet.io Thread quoted below.

Meanwhile, I would advice you hold on and wait for a concise response from steve in the official thread, posting the same message across several threads is considered spamming as per the forum rules which could lead to your account getting banned.

Hello Cola91,

I am looking into this for you.

One thing I do know for sure though is that the best thing to do here though is not lie to these loyal customers of ours on the forums..

Comments like "Now they want to steal all my money. I will not allow to lose all my earned money"  when you have been advised from us that this is IS NOT the case will not be tolerated here.

Also comments like "On this way I want to alarm all people to not be victims of their fraud. To be careful and go away from their site."  is also a lie as we paid out a fortune last night on this very match... ( I lost on it too personally)

So in the mean time, while you are waiting for the money and responses from us, just dont lie.

Ill be back in touch soon.

Steve,

I understand your frustration however my advise for you will be to stay calm and wait for the updates in here. Sportsbet.io has good reputation and I am sure they will not risk it. Let them investigate the case and let them to come here with the update since this concern came to the public.

A side note: The user game-protect will come here and will try to distract your focus. My advise will be ignoring him.

PS: I have no affiliation with sportsbet.io but I have seen them doing good things so I am talking for them from my observation.

Just be careful of a predator hanging around this forum with the name game-protect. he/She has does a racketeering service to scam the players of casinos who have lost money while gambling not illegally but by gambling only. GP is a liar and the only type of people whom you should not trust, even though his words might seem soothing to you. he/She will not do anything to protect your claim once you pay him and neither is he/She capable of doing anything besides spamming this forum. :D

Never trust anybody on the internet specially where an irreversible mode of payment is involved like bitcoin.

And wait for their official support to respond.

Many gamblers have used sportsbet.io website and a good reputation. It may be true that you have another account in their site that's why your account is suspended, blocked or closed as the rule stated. If you really didn't have another account then send a message to the admin and notify them of their mistake.

It is their typical scam strategy to let everyone register and take all deposits and bets, if you lose everything is fine and no questions asked, but if you win then they suddenly discover that you have multiple accounts and ask for KYC documents.

Nevertheless, the lawyer cooperating with Game Protect is currently in the process of enforcing such scam attempts and you even have the option to join the enforcement proceeding on a 65:35 no cure no pay and do not need to spend anything in advance. :)

You have some good words from him (game-protects). It's his bait by the way.

He deasl with layers but this is what he says,
In the real world it is not a scam to take 210€! ::)

A lie and in time he will come up with saying to pay him 5% upfront of the claimed money.
The user h4ns (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=947454) was a victim of him.

Feel free to read here
He asked for 5% of the amount in dispute which was €210. I told him that he knows my position and that I won't spend any money on this. He then said that he can't handle the case without charging a fee. Eventually I thought why not give him a chance after all. He never asked for any money in a time frame of almost a year. Curacao based books scammed me of a 6 digit amount in the past 8 years. €210 is just a drop in the ocean. So I thought f*ck it, let's give him a chance and I sent him the money

And no to mention, have a visit in his feedback page.

Stay safe. I am positive. Sportsbet.io knows how to fulfill their clients demand.

Why would he risk to open multiple accounts if we won multiple times at Sportsbet
and if they hold over 18k on his account?

And why they didn't contact him before that regarding this 'multiple accounts' issue?

It is also strange that they don't allow him to complete KYC verification...

We need more proofs here, and I will stay neutral for now,
but I asked legit questions, and I can understand the guy.

Stay calm and talk again with Sportsbet team.

@ cola91

The lawyer cooperating with Game Protect handles 6 cases for h4ns on a 65:35 no cure no pay basis.

The seventh case is below 5,000 Euro and therefore will not be enforced on a 65:35 no cure no pay basis.

If h4ns's scam accusation Game-Protect.com did not refund my money and stopped replying to my emails (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183189.0) and the red flag shown above my threads and created by him https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=874254 and Warning: Trade with extreme caution! shown at my profile misled you to not engage Game Protect, please post in my thread?

===== GAME PROTECT - Online Gaming Consumer Protection ===== (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1535816.0)

I collect proof of how much damage h4ns's defamation campaign on bitcointalk.org caused and will demand it from him!

Thank you!

Because of get multiple benefits peoples bother to create multiple account. Who know if he was opened multiple accounts before this wining.

Read their terms and conditions, they have full right to block your account if there is multiple accounts at any time. So usually they would review account during withdrawal. Nothing is wrong.

It is also strange that they don't allow him to complete KYC verification
They should allow, but I don't know about multiple account case, after caught they will allow or not.

Without proper evidence you can't consider scam to anyone. Sometimes sportsbet spent more than €18K for promotion just on single day. So I don't think they will ruin their reputation only for €18K since they even solved with 15 btc issue.

OP should provide more proofs like deposit history, current balances, and others screenshots. And before open scam accusation you were should wait for their answers on ANN thread.

From the begining I wrote which part you want to steal. All my earned money on your site. That is more than 14k euros. You just want to distract all people from important things to this one.
Seems you mentioned there 14K and mentioned here 18K. However amount wait for their answers on ANN thread.

It is a typical scam tactic to give the deposit back and unjustifiably keep the legitimate winnings!

Most online casino victims are too stupid to enforce its valid claims, so it is +EV for them to act this way! :)

You know that Sportbet is one of the big betting sites and is the main sponsor of Watford.FC, they are very stupid to steal OP money.. it's good to discuss it well with Sportbet Support/Customer Service team if you have an issue.

I have an extreme issue with this sportsbook Sportsbet.io. A few days ago, as I was about to withdraw my funds from my account, I was locked out of my account instantly. Curious as to why I was locked and was unable to log in to my account, I frantically live chatted with the agents. I received a dry response from the agents and was told that I would have to contact the safety and assurance team. I emailed the safety assurance team and they told me that my account was disabled due to a security reason. I was shocked because there was none to my knowledge. They told me that I need to do a KYC which i happily obliged to do and sent in my drivers license as well as my banking statement.Having to wait 2 days for another response, the team got back to me stating that now I have to go through a second party verifying platform of Sportsbet which I did once again. I sent in my drivers license, my selfie and many other things and then waited for another response. Then I get another response stating my account was flagged for multi accounting by their security systems. They had linked me to 6 different accounts; 5 which are not my accounts. An account that I opened back in 2016 which I had no access to due to login and deposit issues was abandoned by me and hence I opened a new account. Now I just received another email stating that I am apparently engaging in money laundering, that I am part of a betting syndicate LOL, that I am using a robot or spy or AI to gain advantage and that I am colluding with other users in order to defraud sportsbet which is absolutely absurd and is an extreme form of defamation. Their final sentence to me "As a final exemption, we will close your account and no funds will be returned". I have 20 ethereum in that account which is my hard earned money, roughly equating to $2546 USD. I feel like I am being targeted and scammed even though I have been using sportsbet for more than 3 years and have recommended this sportsbook to families and friends and have sung its praise. It is heartbreaking for them to do this to me. I want my money back and returned to me rightfully so. Here I thought being partnered with Watford FC; a club in the EPL league would hold some meaning and accountability. I demand for my $2546 usd to be returned to me and I do not want to play games anymore by waiting more than a day for one email. The communication process in itself is extremely poor. If I do not get my money back, Sportsbet is the biggest scam book out there in the industry. My username is Hussain8900. I demand justice. Until then I will not stop until I get my money back from the scamming sportsbook.

You need to post some proofs of conversations and screenshots,
but I would first suggest talking with them on their topic in bitcointalk forum here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.0

he contacted support and has already been answered here:

Hi Hussain8900/trackguy,
Thank you for being a long term customer and promoting us to your family and friends for over three years, its good to hear.

Before we move forward, I want to address your comment mentioned above: "Here I thought being partnered with Watford FC; a club in the EPL league would hold some meaning and accountability."
I mentioned last night to fellow loyal customer of ours that our commercial agreements and player risk management are completely different matters. Also on this matter, Watford regularly visits us, and us to them and we have a great business relationship and are looking to work together for many more years to come.

However, as for the rest of your claim/dispute, I am really struggling to comprehend your accusations now that I see the plethora of information we have at hand.

Starting with the owing amount of $2546 you claim.
This is so incorrectly over claimed it is not even plausible. Out of respect to privacy, Im not even go into the actual amount.

Regardless of the inaccurate accusations from yourself, we at sportsbet.io respect privacy 110% of the time and certain details will not be aired in public. We don't apologise for that.

Secondly, yes we do have you linked to other accounts.
I was AMAZED when I saw one of the many linked sportsbet.io accounts is the same name as you are using here for BTC Talk forum.. (trackguy)

To me, that is an absolute slap on the face to this thread, this forum, and the users using this forum. I would be disappointed if you didn't apologise to these good people who go out of their way to keep this thread going for being a touch disrespectful to them.

These guys are always here and genuinely try to help out users when they have the chance to. Then for you to say you are not 'multi-accounting' while multi accounting the same sportsbet.io user name on this forum is just not good enough basically.

Lastly, please be careful of directing the phrase "extreme form of defamation" towards us especially when you are claiming "Sportsbet is the biggest scam book out there in the industry"
Based on the information we have at hand and the incorrect figures and information you are claiming here... I don't think using and aiming the word 'defamation' is very fair at all.

This is my last and final response to your unsubstantiated and incorrect claims on this matter. All further correspondence stays between yourself (whichever account that is) and our security department.
regards,

Steve,
Sportsbet.io

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.msg53464378#msg53464378

it seems that the problem has to do with multiple accounts that the OP has

I have seen many times  issues being resolved that way

create a lot of accounts is against TOS from all gambling sites (to my knowledge) and in the case of OP it seems to me that they will no longer pay attention to any claims that OP makes

On this way I want to alarm all people to not be victims of their fraud. To be careful and go away from their site. Also If someone can suggest best way for me now how to receive all my money?

Hi cola91,
Have absolutely same issue, not paying me after full KYC and linking to some accounts that I have never seen in my life without any evidence.
How did you solve your case?
This is a bit of a necrobump but since you have a similar issue, it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

Considering the fact that OP has yet to make a response on this issue and has since moved on to another sportsbook (or that's what it seems, judging by their post history), I don't think the result is one that you will be particularly happy with.

This is the most recent post regarding Sportsbet.io:

Hi,

I made a claim on IBAS, firstly they do not had sportsbet.io in list of bookies, but after my call they add them. Now I am waiting for resolving and also asked sportsbet.io here and on emails for help but they decide to be quiet and non-professional.

I never claimed promotion or bonus, used just on several sports their boosts, sometimes lost sometimes won..I do not want to think that is problem.

Not great.
