Title: Fast question about doxxing
Post by: johhnyUA on October 03, 2019, 09:45:07 PM
is it allowed to neg tag people who doxxing private info out of "Investigations" board, eh?

Just need answer, because we have some people (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105163.msg52641352#msg52641352) in our local board who loves to do it.

I will be grateful for any answer.

Edited: It's more general questions, for future cases mostly.

Linked person have taken private info from Facebook link which were provided publicly by owner. Unethical of course, but not enough for neg tag for sure.

Most of the DT1 will Tut-Tut if not the right type do it then turn a collective blind eye when they want to.

Same goes for posting on the feedback/trust wall by Butt Hurt TM users. DT1 will predominantly turn a collective blind eye.

Don't want to be identified¿ Don't choose a user name that'll tie you to a UID here.

Yes, you are pretty much allowed to tag anyone you like, for every reason you like  ::)

Linked person have taken provate info from Facebook link which were provided publicly by owner. Unethical of course, but not enough for neg tag for sure.
If it is publicly shared on this forum then it is not doxx.. Honestly, that picture looks so photoshopped:

You can definitely report Doxxing information outside of the investigation section. It'll be removed. However, if you wish to both report, and leave a negative rating then that's at your discretion. I think you should probably take in the context when concerning doxxing. If someone has done it to destroy the reputation or threaten someone then it might well be worthy of a negative rating.

What if someone shared their personal information on this forum?

For example, bounty hunter share facebook and someone use that info outside investigation board? That isn't really doxx as info is already shared.

As an expert in graphics with knowledge of forensic analysis, you don't have any clue what you are talking about. Just because you see marks in that type of analysis doesn't automatically mean it is shopped, it is dependent on location in the photo. Stop fronting like an expert. Even those with casual knowledge of those systems know it doesn't work that way.
