Bitcoin has come along way we have seen massive adoption and so many videos, news, and articles about websites and many people have invested and are now using Bitcoin do you think after ten years majority of people around the world have heard or read Bitcoin one time or another?

based from my experience from people around my circle, majority heard about bitcoin, but the context of bitcoin isn't present to their idea what bitcoin is. Few knows it is a good currency but allot of my colleague think that bitcoin  is illegal, due to the concept they heard from others. What I am doing is continuously supporting bitcoin to show them what bitcoin is capable of, and is safe and secured.

I personally don't think it's that far fetched to assume that everyone in the world has heard/seen/invested in BTC, or other cryptocurrencies, I probably wouldn't say this 2 years back, but ever since the insane price hikes, and the constant media attention and references, it's pretty hard to get by life and not know about cryptocurrencies.

That's the problem with media presence and coverage nowadays, at the start it was only covered as a payment method for shady people doing illegal things, and then it was a get rich quick scheme or a ponzi, I've rarely seen outlets cover the technology behind it.

Before the bull trend there is not much of news, videos and articles related to bitcoin. Once after the market pumped high reaching ath close to $20000 people started to talk much about it.

This is the time when more media started to give negative as well positive news related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It made more people to know about bitcoin. Now this has been continuing with more large scale companies accepting and using bitcoin on business transactions.

There's no need to discuss this IMO just because you cannot verify it.

• The part where you could verify if the majority of the people gets the message about Bitcoin
• The future (after ten years). Are people still using Crypto?

For sure there are a lot of people that are left not knowing Bitcoin but that doesn't mean that they would be easily investing in BTC once they heard it, they will still look into the past and what it has done. There are a lot more skeptical people than you may know. We think that the majority of people are interacting with social media and such, the true essence of why Bitcoin was created should be the message. What we really need right now are people who are actually using the currency, not just people who heard of Bitcoin and not being a part of it.

People will still read or heard about bitcoin in every place if bitcoin has become legal in many countries. People will learn about bitcoin, including how to use bitcoin properly. But that could be still a mystery since no one will know about that. We don't know if cryptocurrency or bitcoin will still be used in the future. But we can predict what will happen in the future.

Now, not many people in all countries thinking about bitcoin. They still depend on their real-life jobs, traditional investment, the same things that the old people did in the past. Some of them even don't aware of the new technology which already invented because they are too busy to work. But if bitcoin can hit the very highest price like 2017, many people will come close to bitcoin, and they will curious how to use it.

They say no knowledge is a wasted, especially the type of knowledge that will benefit you in several ways, people have been reading and doing research on btc,  
i believe people will keep seeking knowledge about blockchain and btc for as long as this technology exist, the possibilities of blockchain is endless,  more research will be made in other to create more innovative ideas through blockchain,
as it is, only few percent of the world population is involve in crypto, so in years ahead more people will pick interest and wants to read more and understand what blockchain and btc is all about.

You do not need to go ten years down the line to know that people have heard about bitcoin, people who have any kind of investment in any financial sector does know about bitcoin as bitcoin is the only financial market that gave more profit than any other investment sector in the past several years. People who are not saving their money nor interested in investing does not care about anything even after a century.

I actually knew of bitcoins existence back when it started cause of some of my friends who told me about it one time. I didn't really take notice of it until after a few years when its reputation has spread quite a bit. The majority should know of the word bitcoin or crypto and should have heard it once or twice especially after bitcoin reached its all-time high price. A lot of people were suddenly invested in it since they never expected something unknown to them to be able to reach such a price in the market. Most of the people who know about bitcoin though are those in the financial business markets and jobs that have relations to the financial market.

Yes most of people had read bitcoin news for once time or might be more because currently in my country also have special news channels for crypto development and they reported news update regarding crypto or related to it daily so indirectly with massive growing of crypto news through an article or online magazine this makes people read crypto news almost everyday with automatically they know crypto especially bitcoin

A large majority of people has heard about bitcoin one way or the other globally but what's bad is that some of those people that have heard about bitcoin has not understood properly what it means or what the uses are for

People who are always going online are likely to read Bitcoin, even though no one is inviting for him to invest or explore, Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency is everywhere, it's more likely that people have seen it's symbol more than one times. 
But I doubt if majority of people have a grasp of the full meaning and how Bitcoin really works but we are moving fast adoption and it's only a matter of time.

I think yes, most people these days have their own smartphones and have an access on the internet anytime. I'm sure that they've seen something about bitcoin. On social media these days it's easy to spread ads and can also be found on some random websites. What more 10 years from now, imagine the technology that time.

Depends on the region. Where I live, i never heard of BTC before I was asked to start writing about it. Never heard about it on the news, or seen it in local newspaper. Also never seen it on Facebook or any other social network. Not even on Reddit, until i started actively seeking it out. Crypto is not jumping out in the world nearly as much as we believe. but that's because people who know about it tend to seek it out. Nobody from my generation knows anything about it, apart from maybe, MAYBE, hearing the name once, with no context or understanding of what it is.

Face the reality, media focuses only to the illegal things, it is the best content to show to the public to caught their attention. As long as their reputation will be good in the eyes of the public, they dont bother to show all the information they gathered, only illegal things to show to their viewers/readers.

I think after ten years, everyone in developed and developing countries will be more familiar with bitcoin. I think so because now many large companies have adopted bitcoin and its technology. I am sure that today's mass adoption of bitcoin will surely influence the common people's thinking about bitcoin. Even for now some of my friends (who don't know bitcoin at all), started to come to me and ask about what bitcoin is. Seeing this, I am sure that in the future more people will have heard and known about bitcoin

I think it depends on the country and region. In my circle less than 20-30% of people have heard about cryptocurrency. If it doesn't affect their lives, incomes, jobs, then it doesn't important, so they just ignore it.

I believe that 19 years from now Bitcoin will be more popular and be acknowledge by many people around the world. With how the internet being popular it will also carry Bitcoin as social media sites and streaming sites gives some hints and help, adding more people to learned more about Bitcoin. Additional 10years will achieved more and more same thing what happened before.

ou should hang out with more intelligent people instead of idiots. They will only serve to bring you down. Most people have already heard of bitcoin where I live. They have ads and stuff and the google search engine has bitcoin as a top search in my country as well. Many people show interest and want to know more but most are afraid and intimidated.

I think majority of the people have already heard or read it .
It is being published every where and people tends to attract or share information to their family and friends so I really think that majority of the people have already heard or read about it even once since Bitcoin started.
But not everybody who hear or read it got interested there are always who would look at it at a different view ,
Like those people who thinks that it is a criminals money because it is being used too much for illegal things like black market, Money laundering and scams.

Yes many of people have heard about bitcoin but I don't think that the majority of the population have heard it. Yes oj the developed countries for sure the majority of their have heard it obviously because their country is developed so the people have accessed on the different events that happened in the world, but I don't think it is the same on developing countries like on us. Only a fraction of the people of my country know it and again obviously because of the incapability to know it.

People have seen massive adoption from videos, news, and articles, but they still not trying to invest in bitcoin or another coin. They don't think that it will works for them because they never tried. But there will be some people who are willing to invest in cryptocurrency, and they still trying to invest with worry. They are worried because of the volatility in bitcoin that will always happen. But that will not stop them from investing in bitcoin because soon, they will know that investing in bitcoin will give them a profit in the future.

I'd say something like 70 percent of the world has heard about bitcoin, and 10 percent of the world is invested, or has invested in the currency previously. There's actually been a lot of media attention that bitcoin has gathered, and there's a lot of people interested in it nowadays.

That's true - there's been media attention, but a lot of it has been negative and flawed in it, with a lot of people under the impression that the currency is only used for illegal activities now. At least media is more accurate nowadays.

no, i don't think "majority" of people have heard about bitcoin. there is certainly a lot of people who have seen the name bitcoin somewhere in passing or in the news but to know what it is, is another story. i guess the percentage is high but not majority yet. and from those who have heard the name and know what it is, there still is a much smaller percentage who have bothered looking into it and even a smaller percentage who have adopted bitcoin which is why it is considered lower than 1% still after 10 years.

That is very possible. Bitcoin has already passed its first ten years and we can see and amazed at how much it changed, not just in terms of price, but also in terms of popularity and reputation. If you add another ten years of it, people's acceptance and familiarity with Bitcoin will not only double but will be growing exponentially. The first ten years was more difficult to survive than the second ten years because it was starting from zero or from nothing at all. It started with a handful of people and now we are a community of millions. That's why the second decade is a smoother ride than the first.

If it's only about heard or read, then it's possible. But I'm still in doubt with majority of the people cause we never know if bitcoin will still remain after ten years. People may heard or have read about bitcoin, and that's it. They just heard/read it but they doesn't really know what it is or what does it can do.
As time goes by, bitcoin is increasing its popularity but I cannot say that majority of the people (around the world) would be familiarized about bitcoin only after 10 years since it lacks support and promotion from the governments.

I work with a lot of people at work and I speak to a lot of them and the majority of them have never heard about Bitcoin. I would say almost 80% or more of them have never heard of it before. This is in a first world country, so imagine what the percentage would be in a third world country where there are little access to the media and/or the Internet.  ::)

I also have people who have heard of it before and they never invested before, but some of them come back later and something peek their interest again and they decide to buy a little to experiment with it. So the market for bitcoins is far from being saturated.  ;D

Almost all people that I have contact heard about Bitcoin, even if they don't really understand about BTC
Sometimes BTC is show in open TV channels, but most times is to tell about a scam, and this is no good, people think that is a pyramid scam like anothers we had

I'm not sure about it. I think that still many people haven't heard of Bitcoin and some of those who have don't actually know anything about it. Promotion of Bitcoin isn't so good and there is not enough education either.
I know that many bitcoiners think Bitcoin is something that is normal for everyone but outside Bitcoin community people really don't know much about it, that is the fact.

Simply hearing and reading about bitcoin is truly possible since bitcoin is becoming popular now. It can be seen now on social media and television where the majority of people now spend most of their time with it. They will just have an idea of what bitcoin is but still, we are not sure if they will be convinced to adopt it.

As the popularity of bitcoin is rising, the number of cases that it is being used in illegal activities is also increasing. That is one of the major cause why lots of people are still doubtful about investing in it.

So in ten years and bitcoin will continue to have a good reputation, prove its worth and importance in people's lives, then the majority of the world's population may have bitcoin adoption.

I think not, that is if we are talking about the whole population of the world.  Most who knows about Bitcoin are either computer geeks, active on social medias such as twitter, fb, telegram, etc, and those who are on the fintech area.  Those who are in the rural area and not into trends possibly have not heard Bitcoin.

adoption will take a lot of time, it doesnt happen over a few years, a decade will probably when its been decided. We are indeed in the digital age, every information can be explored through internet, it can expand in every part of the world. even information can be found in the internet that will reach the people, once they understand the true purpose of it, they wont every ignore it, nor judge it anymore.

Not yet the majority. I think less than half of the world's population have heard or read or come across Bitcoin. Bitcoin may sound very popular to us and to those people who are living in more or less modern countries even if underdeveloped but it is because we have access to television and the internet and other electronic technologies. Other who don't have access to those modern equipment cannot encounter Bitcoin easily.

I think there is more than 50% of population of the world haven't heard anything about BTC or cryptocurrency.
There are so many out there which has no connection to digital world. Some of them has but not interested and reach Crypto yet

I think Yes,majority of the people heard already about bitcoin because of different social media network that always news about cryptocurrency daily even in a remote areas. But mass adoption is not yet enough. Still many people doesn't know how to use bitcoin specially those in late stage(old man) who didn't know how to use gadgets like cellphone,computer and etc...

No, there are currently 7.53billion people on earth. even with bitcoin's popularity today I doubt majority of people have heard/read
of bitcoin. even in developed countries I doubt majority of people there have heard/read of bitcoin. but it's okay if only a fraction of the
total population knows about bitcoin it is still a lot, bitcoin will continue to grow as long as the community continue supporting it.

In as much that there are a lot of articles and videos talking and circulating around about Bitcoin, only about 10% of the total population of the world are aware about the existence of Bitcoin. And out of these number, 80% invest in it and the remaining used it for their online transactions. In short, only a hand full of people know about bitcoin. Bitcoin is now growing and as a long way before the community grows big..

Do you have a scrape data regarding this? I'm not sure if there are only 10% total of people who are aware of the existence of bitcoin. But from my own point of view even if all the people heard what bitcoin is and how you can earn through it. Maybe most of them won't believe it because they always think that it is a kind of scam. But it's a good thing for those people who trust and starting to invest in bitcoin so they can really assure to earn big if they will be patient.

I believe, yes. Bitcoin has reached a lot of countries. It has been on the mainstream and it could even go more. My colleagues already know what Bitcoin is. It's even being advertised in our country. A lot of information about it is also everywhere in the internet and social media sites. I'm sure that a lot of people will easily get informed about this digital currency. If massive adoption would happen, it could also be adopted in most countries around the world.

The popularity of bitcoin makes bitcoin more famous throughout the world and because in the country where I live, bitcoin is more popular than other cryptocurrency because news about bitcoin is easily found or seen on all social media, advertisements, You Tube and many others.
and that will make bitcoin the main topic in cryptocurrency because they only know a few cryptocurrency besides bitcoin.

People will easily understand the use of bitcoin due to the fact that this era was informative because of the internet. And if massive adoption will do occur then probably this could become an alternative payment for our daily transactions.
Bitcoin is already familiar to people because it has already been in the news before however, not the way we want it supposed to be known, media focuses only on the negative impact that is why folks are doubting to use this technology and the worse is getting banned from other countries.

I think the majority already knew about bitcoins existence they just don't bother to pay time to dig into its information and what really it is. The number of social media users we have nowadays are millions and that is the main medium where bitcoins news are circulated, plus some news that got broadcasted about bitcoin im sure millions of people already have heard of bitcoin.

Research shows that cryptocurrency is used by 0.5% to max 1% world population, which in numbers gives us a maximum number of 75 million people. Given the world’s population of 7.5 billion people, that 1% is just like a joke and shows us that a very small number of people are directly involved with crypto.

On the other hand, I think that at least 50-70% of people heard about Bitcoin, especially in times of big bull run in 2017, but most don't even understand the basics and considers it an internet scam that will end sooner or later.

Another very important fact is that 45% of the world's population does not have internet access, and they probably never even heard of Bitcoin, and even if they are, they have no ability to use it.

Definitely, our technology is advancing and nowadays people use smartphones to watch videos, and surf the internet and with many bitcoin enthusiast using social media to increase awareness with bitcoin, it is possible that it will reach to millions of people who haven’t known bitcoin. Social media now is like part of every people lives that is why I strongly believe that in the span of 10 years majority of the people will know bitcoin and probably invest in bitcoin as well.

i ever ask to my neighbour about bitcoin and some of them have no idea, but the other know about bitcoin but its not bitcoin, its trading. they said that its like gamble, you just play your luck on internet. and i ever explain to someone and he like dont believe with what i said.

I was shocked to learn that most people do NOT know it. The author of the Bitcoinist news resource went to the most progressive countries in the world in terms of using Bitcoin, with the exception of Malta and Switzerland, to find out what the inhabitants of the country know about the main cryptocurrency. The result was unexpected - over 99%  people around the world do not know anything about BTC.

I think it will be safer to say "heard about Bitcoin" than "read about Bitcoin" The truth is that people hardly read. Even now, not many will read the OP before responding. Sometimes, I don't even blame those who say they don't understand jack about Bitcoin. It's really technical stuff. The technicalities of Bitcoin perplexes me too.

I think the majority of people have heard about Bitcoin somewhere at least once. There are advertisements, news etc. about Bitcoin. It seems hard to me that most of the people didn't even hear about it.

I think the majority of educational people has heard about bitcoin, but problem is most of the time is promoting as a way to money not as a solution to a real problem. That's the reason why most crypto people are at the space just for money in first place and the funny thing, they want other people to join in order to bring more money to the space so the price can moon and they become rich by selling their bitcoin at high price to those newcomers. Because the focus is on making money, Some outsiders see bitcoin as a scam and bubble that will have a sad ending.

I think at least everyone has heard about bitcoin. But unfortunately most people recognize bitcoin as something negative,
like illegal, money laundring, terrorist funds, money games, gambling, etc. It was all caused by wrong reporting by the media. Only
a small number of people who think positively about bitcoin and invest in bitcoin. Therefore let's struggling to introduce bitcoin to
the world positively, so that all people throughout the world understand that bitcoin not something bad or a threat to human life.

I am not sure about the majority of people knows something about Bitcoin. But there is so many people today recognize Bitcoin and have some information about it. People are getting more informed day by day.

Comparing the awareness of Bitcoin during it period of creation and this period, we can see great developments in adoption and usage. Truly, a lot have changed.
So, by 10 years I believe most country will have come to realise that Bitcoin is something that a country payment system so have (hopefully). Also, by then the blockchain technology might have been implemented in many sectors of some states.

Yes, there is a chance of bitcoin massive adoption in the next coming 10 years as we saw what happened with Social Media in the last decade. No doubt, lots of people heard and read about bitcoin but the only thing stopping them from using bitcoin is FEAR of losing their money in bitcoin because of price volatility. Once many people start using bitcoin that may reduce the price volatility a lot.

Well most of my friends have heard about bitcoin but most of them don't want to adopt Bitcoin or to posses bitcoin which is bad for them but everyone is free to make their own decision.

Also I do think that most of the people heard about bitcoin as it went viral on TV and Social Medias back in the bull run but most of them are on the same boat like my friends , they don't want to invest something that they cannot have it in their hands...and on the next bull run they will cry ...again. I think only after 2025 people will really start to look into bitcoin as something with real value when they could hold some of their investments.

If we count in the fact that at least  30% of the world has no internet access. My parents don't use the Internet and I know many people age 60+ who don't. They don't know what Bitcoin is and maybe heard the word once or  twice but have no idea what it is.

Is it really important that you heard the word if you don't know what it means? I know some foreign words that I wouldn't be able to use in a sentence :D

Until recently, I have always assumed that most literate people across the globe might have heard of bitcoin by now. But to my surprise, I attended a workshop recently that involved mostly the youth under the age of 30 years, I decided to do a quick survey as to whether they knew about bitcoin and to my surprise, only 3 of the 10 people that I queried had a fair knowledge on bitcoin.

People surely have heard about Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency. The only problem is, it didnt caught their attention ( base on my observation here in my place ).
With the continued rise of Bitcoin, people have turned their head once again to the technology they've once ignored.
Videos, news, and articles isnt enough for mass adoption. We need merchants and other service providers to accept Bitcoin as a mod of payment. In that way, people would have their second thought on why Bitcoin has a market value.

Bitcoin is not that popular yet even to those age of 30 below. Only the people that are interested in it are the ones looking for some investments for their future or knows the potential of blockchain technology. I am one of those 30 below but I am earning bitcoin any way I can for my better future.

Some people have heard about bitcoin and just ignored it. Most people would be skeptical once they hear about crypto and somw would think that is is an illegal money in the internet, used for scam or terrorist fund and such. I think some people have a bad impression about crypto because of what is going main stream or the news spreading about it. It is good that some people are doing their part to spread crypto awareness by sharing videos or articles in social media accounts to help educate and inform people.

It is not possible to predict what will happen after 10 or 15 years. But right now, I don't think that more than half of the world's population have heard about Bitcoin. The world population currently stands at 7,500 million and the number of active users of Bitcoin may be in a few million. If you add the users who are not active, then the figure may reach 100-200 million. But even then, I don't think that Bitcoin has achieved a great amount of publicity. I would say that the number of people who have ever heard about Bitcoin may not be more than 10x higher than the number of all users. That would give you a figure of 1 to 2 billion individuals.

A lot of people are now becoming aware and interested to bitcoin. Some of them heard it from news, internet and from their friends or family. It seems it is part of mass adoption, I know time will come and bitcoin will be recognized by most of the people in our society as currency.

In 10 years??? Hmmmmm probably not. Can I ask what is the approximate percentage of the number of people so that you can say it as "majority"??

I assume half of the people around the world. That is around 4 Billion people already (assumed that the total global population at that time is 8 Billion), I don't think that they will read it or heard it. Some countries doesn't have access to the internet especially the remote areas and those who have access in the internet probably wont spent a minute about it.

If I see in the current era many people who still want to read or comment on bitcoin now, because bitcoin is one of the digital money that many people are interested in. Many people in the world want to have bitcoin for their future, so automatically many people want to see videos about bitcoin or read magazines about bitcoin. I also like to read articles about bitcoin to find out about the future development of bitcoin.

Pretty sure they've read or heard about it but that's just it, either they researched more, didn't care at all, or doesn't believe on it and opposed any argument you say as why it is beneficial to the society. It's only for majority though since not all people have access to recent news about technology especially with the third world countries.

For the past recent years Bitcoin has achieved a lot of development that even the large companies around the world get their interest and little by little more merchants are accepting Bitcoin as payment so i do believe that after ten years we might have the majority of people to know Bitcoin or they have experienced using it for their financial activities because majority of the people are millennial and they said that these kind of people are easily adopt new technologies.

Well, that's an interesting question. As for now around 0,5% of people use Crypto (Also less than 0,5% use Bitcoin) but the percentage of people which already heard about Bitcoin at least once is a lot higher than 0,5% I guess. I would say at least 20% of the world heard already about Bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies. When we just check CNBC and their programs right now then you'll take a note that they talk a lot about BTC which leads in that the 20% I said could also be much higher...

you must realize that sheeples (people) are still not ready to unplug.  They like the system the way it is, and the system (CNBC, MSNBC, MOXNews and other mainstream media) are telling them:

"*Bitcoin is used for criminal activity.
*Bitcoin is not being used as a currency.
*Bitcoin is a bubble.
*Bitcoin and Blockchain are a nefarious plan to further the power of the Government."

When Bitcoin was at its first years, there were few people know something about Bitcoin. After Bitcoin price started to rise fastly and come to the record of 19K dollars, many people started to get curious about Bitcoin. And here we are. There are so many people who knows at least the definition of Bitcoin now.

I think a considerable amount of people by then would read and know all about Bitcoins.
Even now, people heard and read about crypto and bitcoins, there are people who took
them seriously like the ones who invested and traded in them. But there are some
who prefers just not to get involved, although fully aware of it's existence, worth
and value but nonetheless still unconvinced to get on board and participate.

In my country people already often hear about bitcoin.
Especially when Bitcoin price really high.

But, people here don't care about it.
They don't know what benefit have Bitcoin.

Yeah... little by little we try educate them about Bitcoin.
For this time they only know Bitcoin only for gambling and trading.

in my opinion bitcoin is one of the most popular news on all social media and in various articles with statements like that the answer is there. I think surely people now have one of their type of social media accounts when they open their social media. certainly have time to read news about bitcoin or other coins and especially now many people like watching YouTube so they will definitely see features about bitcoin there.

May they have read it, but the question is if that gives them curiosity or just ignored after seeing it. It is more about crypto appreciation and understanding that caught their attention. We need to push more about the use of Bitcoin in detailed cause plashing into different social media isn't enough to catch their attention and bring their curiosity with.
Yes, we are able to see a lot of people talking about crypto but we'd never know if they really understand it or they all just talking of its negative effect.

People only interested to discuss about bitcoin when looking bitcoin price is higher and do not serious when bitcoin is down, now many people have discuss about bitcoin when bitcoin raise up and many of investor look not care with bitcoin when bitcoin price under $200 last three years, bitcoin could be trading topic after raise to higher price.

Most probably since the young generations today are already well knowledgeable about the use of various technologies — and cryptocurrency will not be an exemption. However, you can't expect all of the people to know about it especially the oldies and people from remote areas. Actually, I am also getting a little bit skeptical even in today's youngsters because most of them are only aware and interested in social media and video games. What matters the most for them is entertainment. What do you guys think ;D?

Absolutely there is one answer: They have heard bitcoin only one time and that was because some related news on websites, well at least such situation is around me and that's bad to be fair. For example when I mention bitcoin somewhere they always have such reaction: Oh bitcoin? What the hell is it finally?
And that's all. No further interest comes from them and if it even comes, they make conclusion themselves: It will be another pyramid, believe me, just see it, now everything is ok but in near future people will be left without money.
Now decide yourself how worse situation we have there, lack of knowledge among people, it sucks. Is there similar situation around you?

Yes, I don't think that everyone should know and be able to use crypto.  Young people may now know more about this, every day they can read and see it in the media.  But maybe they never knew how to use it.
Without curiosity, they might not be able to recognize it further.

Ten years will be too long for people to heard or read bitcoin because we are now in the digital era which has many sources to get new trends. They can know bitcoin from many places and if they connected to the internet, they can easily read or see an advertisement about bitcoin and that will make them curious. I think we don't have to wait for a long time to see many people will come to bitcoin because, in every day, there will be much news comes out in many websites so soon or later, people will know bitcoin.

I can say that after 10 years majority of people have heard or read about Bitcoin but still the adoption is not so widespread. The chance of adoption is like 40% of those who have heard or read about bitcoin which is not that bad also, slowly but surely is a good start for bitcoin.

But maybe another 10 years the bitcoin will surely set another record of adoption and the number of people that didn't hear or read about bitcoin will decrease to 10% of the total population around the world.

I don't think so because at that time Bitcoin is still relatively new and only a few people knew that, it was caused by the lack of information such as news, videos, and articles about Bitcoin. But if we talk about Bitcoin in the next 10 years and exist, certainty it will be a glory for Bitcoin to be used generally as trade, payment, and investment.

I have done a survey on that, in my own country, they do have a recall on Bitcoin but they don't have the whole idea on what Bitcoin is, some of them asked me where is the office located or who runs the project, I think if a person gets online often he encounters Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency one way or another, it's just he has no time or nobody introduce it to him.

Probably yes, if we work and continue to spread the knowledge and existence about bitcoin. Actually the popularity of bitcoin is increasing and it's possible. My old classmates, knew and heard about bitcoin maybe because of me and now, my new classmates already already heard bitcoin. They don't fully know about bitcoin and crypto but they're already familiar with it. That's why I believe that majority would've heard and read bitcoin after ten years.

Majority people only interested with bitcoin when you show off how much money do you earn with bitcoin, when they look with bitcoin on the higher price they will want to invest with bitcoin without we ask him, but when bitcoin price down they worried and never want to hear our discussing about bitcoin and get much profit with bitcoin investment.

I am residing in India, and it looks to me that most of the urban dwellers have heard about Bitcoin. You can excuse the elderly and the children, but most of the remaining would have heard about Bitcoin at least once during the past 3-4 years. Indian investors were also affected when the prices went down in 2018. And there were some very infamous cryptocurrency ponzi schemes during the last two years, which got wide coverage in the mainstream media.

And just a few weeks back, there was another major scam involving one of the cryptocurrency projects. A guy called Abdul Shukoor was killed by his own associates, after he conned the investors of more than $70 million. A lot of the mainstream media channels covered this news. And I have to admit at this point that 90% of the time Bitcoin is mentioned in the media here, it is in connection with some negative event.

It is very bad that such news spreads in the media that lay the Shadow on the entire cryptocurrency.  It is because of this that many people consider not only the cryptocurrency market, but also cryptocurrency users fraud and scammers.  In such conditions, it is very difficult to popularize cryptocurrency in society.  It seems to me that before you hope for a good cryptocurrency outlook, you need to get rid of fraud using cryptocurrency.

That's a pretty important factor actually, a large amount of people entered the market during Bitcoin's bull run to the 20,000 mark and they where only in it for the money, some got burned, some made profit, but most of them exited after it got boring.

There were some of those traders that stayed in the game and looked at altcoins and other coins in the market, that made things a lot more interesting and those where the real loyal appreciators of blockchain technology.

We are in present but I think many people have already read or read any articles that related to bitcoin. I think in the future the population who knows bitcoin will increase and those who are newbies right now will become knowledgeable in the future. Bitcoin will be spread more and will accepted in all over the world and become one of the currency that will be used.

At some point in their lives, they have heard or read bitcoin or crypto either in social media, internet or television. However, most of them are not yet in crypto as the first impression usually is not in favor towards crypto. But with big companies like walmart, facebook, telegram and others that are about to join the pack, I believe mass adoption will increase in the coming years. People will appreciate the benefits of crypto once they learn how to deal with them.

I believe the majority of the people heard about crypto, about bitcoin but the problem is they really don't understand it clearly and what is the purpose of this. In general, the majority hears but only a few beliefs about it. This is not really working great, crypto needs more supports from the community to have a good market ends but it makes difficult if we all not trusting by then.

When bull market was and BTC was at all time high, people used to talk about Bitcoin a lot. At that time many news media used to report about BTC. Police started catching Bitcoin traders in countries where bitcoin was illegal and news began to appear in newspapers, TV in those countries. As a result, most people in those countries can heard about Bitcoin. Many people have heard the name of Bitcoin but do not know exactly what Bitcoin is.

Highly likely some one did come across the news of crypto currency thus hearing about bitcoin. To be honest most of the people heard about bitcoin during the huge bloom of the price back in 2017. This is when most of the news was centered around crypto currencies along with the governments being concerned about the usage of crypto currency. People started to hear how quickly people made or are making profit by investing on crypto currency. Who wouldn't be interested on a investment which made some people rich over night, right?
So yeah, I guess most of the people did hear or read about Bitcoin at least once in their life time.
