The official Gunbot wiki is probably the best resource for learning about the software and installing it.

Wiki: https://wiki.gunthy.org/
Installation & startup: https://wiki.gunthy.org/setup-and-general-settings/installation

The owner of the  software has a thread here on the forum so if you have any problems then you can either send a message to them or reply on the thread however the wiki should be good enough as it goes through installation step by step.

Your use of topic subject seems misleading. I thought the topic was about using Bitcoin with some robots. The correct subject is Bitcoin bots.
This bot is famous so you'll find a lot of educational videos, you should know where to look and from whom you trust:

 - Gunbot tutorials/ (https://thecryptobot.com/category/gunbot-tutorials/)
 - Gunbot tutorial and basics crypto trading bot (https://steemit.com/crypto/@icedrum/gunbot-tutorial-and-basics-crypto-trading-bot)

ANN link ----> 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Crypto Trading Bot - now with BITMEX🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.0) Devolper PM GUNBOT (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=817682)

You should learn some trading strategies and some ways to predict the direction of prices. It's not simply buying low and selling high.

It won't help you if you don't know what you're doing.  Bots can automate the trades you tell it to make.  If you tell it to make bad trades, it may even amplify your losses beyond what you might have lost trading manually.

So I prefer the good old way of trading manually  ;)

If you're more of a strategist you can automate your trades and that can be helpful, although your strategy needs to really be well thought out. Otherwise you're 100% correct, this can very well amplify your losses if your strategy is inherently flawed.

This might even work better in some instances that you as a traders lacks time in trading your holdings, you can use the bots to automate it, but even how good you are to strategist your trades, bots might still have a possiblity to fail, so even your bot is working, just make sure that you visit the trading history and always observe the progress that you and your gunbot is making.

Might also help to understand that these bots are actually only automating methods and strategies that you yourself have to specify.

It is not going to magically trade for you, it will only automate the process you would otherwise have manually done yourself. So that means you have to specify the rules, in a script. And the bot will execute orders if the market conditions are met.

You can of course just import or use pre-set scripts, but if you don't know what you're doing, especially on leverage, you'd just as easily automate the wiping out of your Bitcoin balance.

As in any activity, to earn trading cryptocurrency, you need to really understand how it works and in what order and when to do certain actions and only then, of course, taking into account the risk you will be able to earn

I also thought the same but to be fair bot is short for robot so the OP isn't wrong. In my head I had pictures of this automatic robot holding bitcoin and moving around being all robotic-like. I am too afraid of using a bot but I can see how it can be useful since U have missed good trades since I was asleep. -_-

Yes, they only automating buy and sell orders according to your configurations. Too many people keep thinking a bot is like some sort of interest gaining script that just compounds its own trades over and over daily.
They good for inflating orders or keeping a currency at a certain price by pumping it when it drops or vice versa. "you'd just as easily automate the wiping out of your Bitcoin balance." this is why I do not use bots.

It can, but don't expect that this bot will give you profits most of the time, this bot is just for automated trading, for example, if you want to go to sleep and still want to trade, this bot will help you to do the rest, though you need to give the command also what to trade like setting limits on the price you want and when to stop if you reached the limit of the profits you want to have for that day.

But what I see is that bots don't work perfectly to produce trades, in my opinion it's better to compare manually using bots even though automatic, because I know experts also never use bots, why do you as a beginner want to use bots for trading?

Some really thinks that it's a short cut in doing trades like if they use those then profit awaits. A wrong mentality, anyway.
Bots will integrate properly if the user do it correctly or else it could work the other way. Trading isn't just a basic stuff, you should dig more and trading isn't everyone's cup of tea..
