Yes there is, LINK, Hyperledger, Intel and the others are introducing a new Trusted Computation Framework.
you can read the information about their latest development here

Follow their twitter handle, they are posting updates there.

https://twitter.com/linknewsoracle

It's probably due to Intel news. Here are some other links that you can read about the explosion of its price.

if you still have a LINK then you should prepare yourself most likely earlier this year LINK provides new updates that can make the price go up, monitor some social media and some chat groups that discuss LINK, don't let you miss an opportunity that you have realized early on.

you don't need a news to pump and altcoins. it has been about a year where all the similar altcoins in medium to small market capitalization range are getting pumped one by one.
of course i am not denying the power that news has in contributing to a pump and in this case the way they are sticking to the Intel news to pump the coin is somewhat obvious, but it is not the reason for the pump. the reason is because pumpers picked it up...

You got some point but you cant stop people not to pick up some fundamentals yet we know that this speculative market do easily react when theres a news.
It would only head up on two possible ways which it might react or just simply ignore such news but most of the time with these random pumps are being made by those whales
or some group of people do decide to accumulate while its cheap since we are still on a very bearish market.I dont know whats the news with LINK or any updates but reading up those given links above by other members would be helpful.

so, this news bring more demands on link, and push the price and volume of link growing hard in the last few days,
and now make this link stand as the TOP 15 coins at coinmarketcap
this is really big step from link developer team,
for sure i will do my own research before put my money in link  ;)
regards

This shitcoin is pretty much a meme on /biz/, that's literally the only place where people talk about it, you barely heard anything about this coin on social media (twitter or reddit).

The fact that this shitcoin is just a few millions behind Monero on the Coinmarketcap charts is a bit concerning to be honest, this market is insane.

Just so you guys know, the team behind this shitcoin holds almost 65% of the total supply, that's a big fucking red flag right there, anyone falling for this pump and dump piece of garbage coin today will eventually get burned.

^  It shouldn't be concerning.  It could mean alt season is right around the corner.  Best thing to do is to be prepared once it's right there in front of you.  And who wouldn't want to get some nice gains along the way...?

LINK is been promising this year, its quite performing well even in a bit increases in this year . A thread started January regarding Link is being rebump today https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096459.0 . It may only be noticeable again since in this red season only few alts managed to be in green and LINK is one of them due to announcement of Intel and chainlink partnership to deliver oracle solution for smart contracts, Intel being popular and trusted brand will definitely give boost to Link Performance.

Link was popular when it first came out. In fact, when we look at the general market is one of the strong projects. He will probably see higher prices. He can lead the Altcoin season.

it happens with different coins in different times.. there is no real reason for what happening with LINK.
there are plenty of projects with a lot of good news and progress, and still nothing happens there.
this market is highly manipulated and only because of the price increase you hear so much good think about LINK
at the second the price will reverse, it'll end up just like other cryptos right now.. sideways or slow decline

Almost all exchangers listed link which provides better liquidity even Coinbase listed it it has tapped the US crypto-users and the main reason was the Google so-called partnership and now other companies are in talks with link.

it has its moment
but the moment will fade away just like it always does
i really hope that people sold at least a part of their coins at this top
because if not - they'll probably regret it in few weeks when LINK drops down like crazy

That happens with most of the coins, most of the time. They go up, they drop down, and they do it again after some time. Like pump and dump coins, or close to it? Even doge coins is doing the same.
Well traders, short term traders will make profit on this, its how they do it by the way. We can't so nothing about that, I didn't notice link before, just recently I'm starting to see some hype around this coin and I still don't have some special opinion about it, is it good or bad, is it just a pump and dump coin or it has future.

Its not surprising anymore, its very normal to most altcoins. But its good to see that LINK is on top 15 as of now. Upon reading the posts here, I thought it was LNK but its different after seeing the market. Altcoins pump for the short time and dump again until no more sustain, that's their trend.

I'd been following LINK since it became on top 15, but whenever I plan to buy Link somehow XRP is in declined too that makes me buy XRP more that LINK. I'll be needing to read more to be convinced to finally buy this , but it's one my priority to hold before the year ends just waiting for its next price decline.
