Take a look at https://coinmarketcap.com/ ?

Anyway, if you're asking for the best price to buy, it's every time. Do dollar-cost averaging, and chances are, you're going to make money in the long term.

If your looking for the best price to buy bitcoin, then there isn't really one. Id recommend investing in it for the long run like what previousbposter said about dollar-cost averaging. That'd be one of the neatest ways you could ensure investment in the long term. If your looking fot a short term investment, wait till the price drops and buy then just resell at a higher prices. That's basically what it. There isn't really an average price since the market is a volatile one

$7,800 still a good entry point for now.

for another case, the best average price should be $1M for BTC1 in 10 years later.

Well, sure maybe. If you're a long term holder though and if you're bullish in bitcoin in the long term, the $400 price difference shouldn't really matter to be honest. If people just stopped guessing on what the "best price" to buy in and simply did dollar-cost average consistently, chances are they would've made money.

There is not something like average price.Market is dynamic and living.I agree 7800$ is good entry but if you will wait for 7800$ then maybe btc will touch 8050 $ and strongly rebound then
You need to learn a little about support and resistance levels. You will have general outlook then

What do you mean best rate? for you to buy in and you forgot to include that? I agree that it's the best time everytime you want to buy at any rate but as an investor you will have to consider buying it cheaper.

for another case, the best average price should be $1M for BTC1 in 10 years later.
Too high and even though we're quite far from that timeframe I would consider looking to it at the rate of $100,000 within few years. OP you should add more clarity to your question on why you're asking for the best rate. Are you going to sell or buy?

Are you going for long term or shorter ones? If you do mention about long term then anytime would be the best
rate for you to buy btc but if you do make some short trades then this will vary on some charting analysis on whats the
best price entry but as said this had been always the question on most traders since we wont able to know on wheres the bottom.
So buying out would always be accompanied some sort of gambling.I agree on the suggestion above that we should
make it dollar-cost averaging rather than on focusing with btc values.

Apart the fact that 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin, and that countries should stop using USD only as the main trading currency, i think that for the moment $10k is an ideal price until mid-November, then it should be $13-15k by the end of the year.

Your question is a little bit confusing I do not know if you are asking what it is the best possible price you can get for bitcoin, or if you are trying to guess what it is the best entry point to buy bitcoin, if it is the first then most exchanges will give you a very similar price and there is not a huge difference between them, but if it is the second then it could be a good idea to wait since there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will continue to go down for some time.

There is no average price for bitcoin, maybe you mean the best price at the moment, Bitcoin indeed cannot be set by anyone. You can determine your best price with what you want to invest at this time, there are many recommendations right now, the best price to buy Bitcoin for the long term.

His question doesn't really make much sense because BTC is traded on the open market. This isn't an car which you can set a best price at.

If a car is selling for an average price of $10000 and you find one for $9500 then obviously that is the best rate for it.

However best rate for BTC is different for everyone and its pretty much their average price that they paid to acquire BTC. If someone bought it at $9000 they will say $9000 is the best price because they don't want it to go under, same for someone that bought it at $12000, they will say anything under $12000 is a great price.

In my opinion I think around $10000 is a great price and a good price is maybe $7500 and above. Something like $5000 is considered "ok price" and something like $1000 is considered "very bad". Sure I would like $25000 a coin but you need to be realistic.

It depends on you what price do you want to buy or to sell. We have a different best average price for bitcoin and if you will buy now maybe it is a good chance to buy simply because of the price which is now around 8129$ and if you will enter in this you will have a chance to earn huge profit once the price goes to the moon. Maybe you should monitor the price of bitcoin in the coinmarketcap and make your own best average price to buy and to sell.

Of course, best price for bitcoin is the highest. Especially for people like me who mostly have bitcoin from earn. Maybe for who buy, as long they get profit will be best price for them. But for who bought in high price, sometime they blame bitcoin for their loss.

I guess your mean is about the best rate price to buy bitcoin ;D

If so, I think that will depend on yourself. If you see the price is down at $7900, then that will be the best rate to buy bitcoin. But if you see the price now is $8000, and you are sure that the price will increase in one hour later, that will be the best price to buy bitcoin.

Many of us still confusing about what you mean, and maybe you can explain more so we can give another explaining.

You mean if ever BTC price has a stable price? If yes then for me $20k is already enough for BTC price. Let's invest today and wait for that price just like before. Hehe.
But if you are asking for the right price to invest then it is better for bitcoin to have a low price. I think we should wait for the price to decrease again cause the price will decrease again I think. Especially when the holidays  ??? I've noticed that when Christmas is coming and near the price of bitcoin is getting low.

I guess you need to confirm what is the thing you are asking here in the forum, and many here might be answering in the wrong question and not all of us here are just guessing on what you are really pointing here.

But in my understanding I guess you are requesting what do we think is the best price for Bitcoin to land on or the average price for its new all-time high, And if this is your question, in my opinion with these the last price he had made a land is $20,000 USD to be set on the recent Bullish market, and now I guess the pretty close price for me will be $50,000 USD to $60,000 USD base on the average price we can get on the upcoming Halving.

Title: Re: what do you think is the best rate price for btc?

There is no one single best rate to buy BTC, it all really depends on what price your willing to pay, what your purpose of having it is for, and what price do you think it'll go to (no one would buy BTC for 10,000 if they thought it would go down to 8,000).

I mean, I personally am waiting for a lower price, probably around the low 7000's before I start making moves on BTC, but it depends for everyone.

I think your a bit too scared to take a dip in BTC, look at some stable altcoins at the start then and don't forget to do your research.

Okay, thanks a lot for asking this question. Your question can be answered in different ways. One, if you are asking as someone who is looking for the best time to be a part of the Bitcoin bandwagon then look for the opportunity when Bitcoin can pulled back some more maybe around $7,500 that is if that can be possible. Two, if you are asking as a Bitcoin holder and you are looking for the opportunity to convert your Bitcoin into cash then i would say wait for the time when Bitcoin can be back at the $13K zone or better yet wait for it to go a big bull run in 2020. Third, if you are asking this question because you are just curious and maybe have nothing in mind to ask then I would say today's average is the best you might be looking for.

You know in fundamental analysis what people generally do is they forecast the value of various security by finding out their intrinsic values using Various methods. So let me help you find something of the same sort.

1. Future cash flows method: one of the most popular method to value shares. these are the discounted cash flows which a business is capable of generating over its tenure and divided by total number of shares to find cash flow per share. Bitcoin doesn't has anything of such

2. Stock to flow model: this is an interesting approach to find values of assets which don't have much of a utility but are scarce therefore costly. A detail explanation about bitcoin's valuation as per this method can be found here: https://medium.com/@100trillionUSD/modeling-bitcoins-value-with-scarcity-91fa0fc03e25

It says btc should currently be priced somewhere around $4k

3. Third is through purchasing power parity: This is method used for valuation of international currencies. It uses the comparison of purchasing power of two currencies and try to establishes a price among them. I don't think BTC could be priced as per this too because it can't be said a widespread currency as of now

So best guess by me is 4k as of now while it would definitely increase in future.

If you are a long term holder, there is currently no best price to buy. now or the next 2 weeks is a good time to buy. because prices in the next few years are much higher than today. it's just for the short term there might be price differences, but if you are a long term holder then the price difference like a few hundred dollars doesn't matter right? this is not the best price anymore, this is the best time for you to buy.

There is no best rate for bitcoin. if you are referring to buying bitcoin at the best price you have to buy the bitcoin dip during or wait the correctional time. what I mean by that is whenever the bitcoin price reaches the highest level the market correction will follow to stabilize the bitcoin price in the market. once the price is low you can buy and sell high once the price gets higher again.

I still think 20-25 thousand dollars was a great price for bitcoin, that and the 1 trillion market cap (about 60 thousand dollars) is the level bitcoin should stay without moving under or over, never 70k never 15k, just move around 30k-50k up and down making traders profits but also the people who want to use bitcoin would have a high level of entry point as well.

I know you can get as low as 1 satoshi from faucets or even less from altcoin faucets but the real entry point is 0.001 in most of the exchanges so with bitcoin being 30-50 thousand dollars that entry would be harder to achieve for many people and exchanges won't have this much volatility from panic sellers. It is a long way to go but I still think it will reach those levels eventually, not going to be easy but we will definitely get there.

I think he is asking us our actual valuation of Bitcoin regardless of its current price.  And to answer that, for me Bitcoin price at its current development and adoption would be around $30k  USD. The fact that it had grown that much after the 2017 run, is good enough to add more value of it from its ATH.  We have seen government accepting and regulating it thus giving more valuation to Bitcoin now than the previous 2017 run.  Just like a precious collectors item, Bitcoin value will grow significantly over the years due to its scarcity and more demand from the masses.

For me the mining industry will also have some fight with this.

Are they still making money even with the low price.
Electric consumption takes a huge toll in mining. So, it should be like they can pay that bill with some profits to provide for their efforts and maintenance.
Without them how could we succeed with everyday transactions.

Sir what is your question the best average to buy or the best average to sell. If yoy want to buy maybe you the price chart so that you know if the price is good for you to buy or to sell. And also check the price and compare for the last price so that you will know the right time and best average.

$5,000 to $6,000 that could be fair price average you are lucky if the prices hits that point. But as the market is concern it never above $7,000 to $8,500 average others consider it is the bottom but its hard to tell no solid indication.

What do you mean best price? If I would say $20k would be buy BTC from me?

There's no so called best average price because it is traded freely in lots of trading platform, it could be in the overbought region though, but that's another discussion. Bitcoin's price is based on what the party wanted, someone sell it at this $xx,xxx price and someone is willing to buy it at that price, simply as that.

Title: Re: what do you think is the best rate price for btc?
Post by: maydna on October 18, 2019, 08:03:37 AM
I am a little bit confused by your question because I think if we want to buy bitcoin, we need to buy a low price and that will be the best price for us. Perhaps, we have the best price when we purchased bitcoin, and that will be different than the other people because they have their analysis, which will use different method too. So whenever you can see the low price of bitcoin, that will be the best price for you and you can buy bitcoin at that price ;D

Don't get too confused with so many low prices you will see later because bitcoin price will always fluctuate, and you will have a chance to buy bitcoin when it reaches a low price. So don't miss that chance if you want to buy bitcoin but make sure you can get the right time to buy.

Best rate maybe for me, around $30k. But with a note, in that level of price bitcoin can be stable and keep like that. I think it is better than get pumped or dumped and then people will think bad about it. If stable maybe a lot of people can get benefit from it.

Thats right, there is no average value or a suitable price for bitcoin, because prices and conditions will always change. at one time, we can say that the best price for now is $8k, but in the next few hours, because the crypto market conditions are easy to change, the price will change again. There is no best rate for bitcoin.

As a whole there might not be the best price or rate but on personal ground there will always be best price to buy as as sell because everyone wants to make profit so I can't sell off bitcoin at $8k if I would have purchased it at $13k just because there is no best rate. There is no best rate to entry into this crypto world but there are best rate for every trade we do.

Predictions are very aggressive as of this moment, and while I watched the latest coinmarketcap updated price of bitcoin and other most top following coins, I think we needed long terms to recover back. The peak price is not yet to come, so we can't finally say it's the end of line because of its demand. That's why most people tend to loss more money due to negligence, and being a risk taker.

What do you mean by best price? Bitcoin price is determined by current situation on the market and demand and supply ratio. Of course, every user has its own wishes, some wish the price is higher sp they could sell and make profit and some wish it was lower so they can buy more coins for future profit.
To my opinion there is no best Bitcoin price, it's only the one determined by market.

The fair price to pay is whatever the market is indicating right now and the price is nowhere near those figures, maybe during the next months the price could get close to those levels but for now the market indicates the fair price of bitcoin is something close to 7950.

Personally if I was a person outside this market and I watched the charts I will choose to wait for the market to go down even further to get as much bitcoin as I could for my fiat.

there is a possibility that price growth will indeed begin. until now, bitcoin hasn't found a good enough price. however, the ideal price for me is the price of bitcoin above the $ 10000 level. I am so sure the price will exceed that this year. Yeah, but I'm also curious about the final results. but I think, for the first step, October - November, the price of bitcoin may be able to reach the level of $ 9k, that's also a pretty ideal price.

Your question is not that clear, are you trying to asked about the amount bitcoin can achieve as its next peak price or the amount at which bitcoin ought to be traded if being stable for a long while, or perhap an entry point to buy bitcoin,  your placement of "average " in  your statement ain't clear enough to be able to give you a concise anwser

The average price of bitcoin should be in favor to you, meaning you have profit or else its not worth it to see the average price of bitcoin. No specific price for bitcoin because it should go up and down base on the decisions of the buyers and sellers, you do your own average price and look for if on your portfolio.

yes there is no price specification at this time, but selling it at a high price is ideal. right now the price is reaching the $ 8k level, and I think selling it at $ 9k is a pretty good price. for the time being there really isn't a price that can be said to be good, but prices above the $ 8k level I think are satisfactory.

Selling at price with all time high is great way of taking the average potential profit, but you should have to consider that day trading isn't an easy choice. These days while $8k level starved to reach the highest price, maybe we need to wait at least $10k this year until December ends. Long term trading preference would be our best chance, in order to somehow recover our loss.

the most important thing was , we should not sell our bitcoin or cryptocurrency asset below buying rate.alot of beginner when feel frustration they be impatient when looking bitcoin price that still move below their buying rate.if we could not controll our emotion i am sure we will not survive in crypto market.maybe best rate for bitcoin at this moment around $10k.

Hi guys,

I am curious to know what for you is the best average btc price.

Thank you so much everyone who will answer me.  ;D
Average price?

This would be an infinite question for btc or any other crypto in the market because price do always moves.
Its price will depend on the demand and its supply. So we cant expect that there would be some sort of average or
preferable price for us to spot out.The best thing to do is to go with the flow and trade as you like and as long
the price is volatile we can make money out of it.

Depends on why your buying bitcoin and your plans. For me Yes i see it as a good time with best price and if it drops through certain levels i will buy more, just the same if it rises and breaks through levels i will buy more.

Remember that investing is about taking risk and learning from failure. would I say now is a good time to invest? yes. Do I think the market will go even lower? yes I do. But, tomorrow is never promised. My strategy is investing on a bi-weekly schedule, regardless of the current market situation. If I were you I’d invest 25-50 percent of what you’re wanting to spend now and keep the other 50% liquid to invest in small amounts as we go down or up. Just my personal opinion, happy investing

I feel like 50k is a good price, until then I will keep on hoarding bitcoin and maybe sell it depending on how it has been going but I will never think bitcoin is overpriced until 50k. Sure, if it goes from 8k to 20k in one week or even one month I will sell all my coins and start to wait and eventually when it goes down 20%-50% levels I will buy even more bitcoins with that money and so forth but just because I trade to make more bitcoins doesn't mean I don't trust it.

I still think bitcoin will reach 50k, just think that there will be lots of ups and downs until it reaches there and I can take advantage of those ups and downs meanwhile. I am in no means a great trader but I would do my best to sell and buy bitcoins to increase my bitcoin amount until 50k.

It's quite a good price but sometimes we like bitcoin drops for a moment in order for us to have a buying point and I don't like bitcoin will always increase the price. For me, that is enough for a bitcoin characteristic of being highly volatile because in that way we can earn from holding and hoarding bitcoin. If somebody knows where bitcoin's buying and selling point probably they are rich enough right now. So, I guess, there's no exact price of Bitcoin due to the volatility.

Aren't you feeling like this trend is almost like the bear market? Luckily, the support level is quite strong, although it drops to $7k+ but still trying to hold the $8k level. Next year will show us what could be the real closest price of Bitcoin during the halving. I think accumulating during this dip is already enough but we still have to wait for more months before we see another set of price.

Thus, we think that $20k is a good price of Bitcoin, no it's not? Cause talking about the risk, the more the price goes high, the more it becomes riskier.
What we have now is a good and satisfying price for me, everyone can afford to buy it and the risk of losing isn't that much. We don't need to see Bitcoin's price over-flowing the market to become profitable and yet, even we have at $10k is still be gaining by then.

Back to 12k then stay there for another year.  ;D

It has gone there and stayed for a long time and maybe that should happen again and be the bottom price.
There might be a lot who will say it is too expensive but that is how it should be.
Usage, trust and demand, all of those are what makes bitcoin as whole and it is happening whether we like it or not.

I am sure many people want to see that price again ;D

We already wait for a long time to see that price, and although it's already reached that price, unfortunately, we know the price went down and down like today. But we still have a hope to see the price will increase higher in the next month or the next year and the sign of breaking the higher rate will appear to us. So it's better to prepare and don't forget to buy as much bitcoin as you can but still remember, only use the money you can.

Hmm this is actually a difficult question to answer as it solely depends on multiple market factors if you can foresight the price increase/decrease in the next few weeks.

By basing solely on the history of its price taken last 1-2 weeks ago, its price were around $8,000-$8,200 with some minor increase/decrease. If you plan on trading for short-term, I may advise you to purchase some coins and sell it once the price is above the initial price you acquired them. Again unfortunately, you have to weigh factors in order to determine if you want to purchase now or later.

At least it can last for a long time in the range of 10k I think it is good enough to be the lowest price, because when the price sits below 10k we only get a decline that is stronger than the increase and even that cannot be maintained. Indeed many people expect that value to be stable for at least a few months, but in reality this market has very high fluctuations and indeed cannot be stabilized as expected.

If we've been asked which is better $5 vs $6, of course, we all probably choose $6.
But asking what is the best price rate for Bitcoin, it surely people will think higher than of $5 or $6. Thinking how volatile the market is, we can't determine which one better as it never stays like that forever. If I say that $10k is my preferred price, do others will agree to that? Of course, they won't because they have their own preferred price also.

It's completely unpredictable as I thought the low which bitcoin will ever go was $5k and thought it will never go below that but it did go below that and this was a speculator market analysts as well and similarly before 5 years we never though it would cross $k which it did as well hence I don't think there is best or worst price for buying and selling its just our target in mind.

I think we are asked what you meant and some people got it wrong.
To be fair it's really hard to state your opinion around this subject. I would even say that current price is far higher for bitcoin but at the same time it's more than amazing thing for me to see bitcoin higher than 20K and even more. Btw that's why it's somehow amazing to see how bitcoin's price is calculated, we all create price together, it's somehow similar of democracy.

Yeah in bitcoin you will have to face so many thing and you will have to ignore a lot of things which can effect your patience and determinations. I think it’s hard but people makes predictions about the price of bitcoin right now demand of bitcoin is increasing so I am sure price will also increase and this year price will cross 15k dollar till end of 2019.

I believe everyone is still hopeful that the market turns back high again as we are preferred of but we don't know if there is a big shot happen around pushing the market price to soar high. We are eventually seeing Bitcoin price moves higher in few days past but it dumps again which means that the market demand isn't enough to move the market.

if you are looking for average prices it is very difficult, if you want to buy bitcoin at this time / a few days later you can check it at coinmarketcap.com
I suggest if you want to invest, choose the long term because the risk is small.

The average price of bitcoin varies between the country depending on the electricity consumption charge which is the base for the mining process. Beyond the average cost of mining the increase in the value is stated a bubble. In my view it isn't bubble, it is the value increase based on the demand to the supply availability.

A smart trader can still make profit from these little fluctuations as a short term trader, just that the trader must be a very careful trader who knows how to analyze the market on a daily basis, not everyone that you see making money have to wait for Long-term investment before they can make money now. Long-term trading is actually the best way of investing in bitcoin which I would not argue that with you, but that is also not to say people should fold their arms and loose the opportunity in making money with all these little fluctuations.

Is someone telling me that if bitcoin does not rise to the level it will become profitable for Long-term investors in 10 years' time, people will still not be able to make money, fluctuation sometimes can be very good, it gives people the opportunity to be able to meet up with their needs while waiting for their long term investment to yield some results.

Short term profits are possible and what has been happening today is evidence of this, but this is only possible for those which have the ability to watch the markets for extended periods of time, and that is not an ability everyone has, as an example even if I consider myself a decent trader I do not have what it is necessary to watch the markets and take decisions in a matter of minutes but if you can then it is great since you could probably obtain consistent profits regardless of whether the market is in a bear or a bull state, while those that use longer time frames like myself need to wait for the market to make big movements before we can make profits from them.

If you want the best price to buy bitcoin by waiting until the lowest price, you will never be able to produce anything, because most investors believe that the price of bitcoin will continue to grow and now is still the best time to buy bitcoin to invest
