Title: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit?
Post by: Coin_trader on October 10, 2019, 01:09:20 AM
First of all, I'm not part of yobit team and the intention of this post is just to share my experience and also this game since I enjoy playing it. I just discovered this game because I recently joined on their signature campaign so I regularly visit there website but this game is already there a few years ago.
I got curious about the game and try it last two days ago. Luckily I won on my first ever bet. My 0.001BTC bet turns into 0.00895BTC.

---

I just want to know if there is any player out there playing yopony?

To those interested. Here is a glimpse of the game.

Yobit Pony Rules
1. Make a bet (can be several). Pool winnings generated from betting users.
2. At the specified time starts racing.
3. Pony speed changes every 5-10 seconds.
4. When Your pony wins, you get a prize for each winning bet.
* The total amount of prize winners of all 90% of the total pool of all users rate and divided between the winners in proportion to their winning bets.
** Proof link available after the end of each race. Calculations of pony speeds depend on EN chat messages, bets, sum of all bets, microtime, pony number, md5 hash of previous pony.

Here is the main board where you can see the race of the horse and make bet.

I think you are contradicting yourself. Joining their signature campaign and saying that "I'm not advertising their site". YOU are advertising their site.

Anyways, it has been a while since I saw this kind of game. I'm used to seeing it in the arcade with frogs racing, ball racing, and any kind of game that is all about racing. I haven't tried it online so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Probably you are really lucky winning x9 of your original bet.

Ah ok. My word is bit out of line there and I admit it. But my point is, my intention in posting this thread is not to advertise their website but to share my experience.  ::)

I'm just feeling lucky by the time I bet men. I spam the yobit chatbox by the time racing started. This is fun since the speed of horse varies per seconds and your heart might stop a bit if your horse is leading and then speed decrease to 2km/h .LOL

I haven't tried this game on YoBit and will never do. I would rather place my bet or play gambling games elsewhere than in a site full of unresolved complaints and accusations. There seems to be nothing certain with YoBit. You will never know if they will pay. If they do, you will never know that you're allowed to withdraw. You will never know whether the game is truly fair. This could go on and on. I don't have personal experience being cheated, scammed, or victimized by YoBit but their reputation is telling me to avoid them and so I do.

Anyhow, I'm happy for you, mate. Cheers!

So that's what the yopony is for  ;D
The reason why the live chat is too lively at times. I noticed those pink letters but just ignore them.

Thank you anyway, I might try it too on the next round.

Hehehe. The live chat gonna explode during yopony event and it's enjoyable. The event change from daily to weekly so the prize pool is kinda big compared to the previous event. The wait for the event makes the game very exciting.

---

I've got a feeling that pony #2 will win next week.  :D

I understand the sentiment bro, Just like you, I hate yobit before because of there history. But now I'm kinda neutral(You know surely why ;D), I just started using it when I join signature campaign and bet using my signature earnings. That's all

I have been seeing YoPony on the website since I joined the campaign. Now I know the reason why the chat box is being bombarded by chats during the event. ;D . Might as well try the game once for fun. Having such games in a trading site is good so that traders can relax and look forward to an event from time to time.

Yes, But I'm waiting for the prize pool to become 0.5BTC or above so that bets will have a chance of profit when I win. Bet some of you signature earnings bro, This one-time per week only it will not hurts your wallet. lol

This looks interesting. I like race-based betting. Unfortunately I have not participated in anyone before, so I don’t know much about it.
Is the yobit betting wallet tied to cryptocurrency trading wallet? I am a bit careful relying on exchanges with lots of costumers coins. Such wallets are usually target of hackers. Hope they have separate wallet.

The wallet that you will be using is your main wallet that is used for trading. They don't have a separate wallet for playing games. It is the same as the dice game on their site.
You are free to play on another gambling site if you are scared of yobit games. I play their game (dice) when I'm bored waiting for a trade.

What a nice win Bro! NEXT START: 141:07:50 as of this writing so this is weekly race. About the calculation on how each horse do win up by chat messages? Quite confusing but
i might consider to put or shoot up some 0.001 bet later on.

Exchanges have got more added services along with the trading access. Here with yobit, the gaming access is quite interesting, and if there is high win percentage on this game more users who aren't part of the campaign or hasn't used the yobit exchange in the past will start using it or at least gives a try for the game.

Even in cryptotalk, yopony is popular. I don't know about you but I certainly most likely to win these kinds of games whenever I'm im the arcade. I don't usually win with these virtual racing games online. What is your technique? Well, in some arcade games in mall I really love playing animal racing since there are some racing course in which an animal is suited for which makes it most likely to win. So you can apply your observing skills for that.

Isn't it in yopony, are there different odds with each pony?

This game appeared on the Yobit website just recently, not a few years ago! When I saw these ponies I laughed because my kids were watching this crazy cartoon. It wasn't the guys from Yobit who couldn't draw their horses, not use these cartoon characters.

I have been trying to find more information about the house edge of YoPony...

Looked through all the game rules, even asked on Yobit support and nobody can give me a straight answer...

Does anybody else know how Yobit charge for playing this game?

the game seems to be pvp(as far as I know pvp type games doesn't have a house edge but a commission to who ever holds the game)
and the bets are stack on a pool and the winning pony will get all the bets -10% of the total amount of money in the pool.

They want to use their already userbase for extra cash I suppose....

I don't usually play in exchange, the last time I remember I was playing with yobit was when they have the dice game, I don't know if that game is still up until now, but when it comes to my gambling wants, I prefer to choose a gambling platform over an exchange.

lol why do you think its funny ?  just checked it and the game is fine but the graphics are not really that impressive  imo but its still a useful game to make extra cash aside from the cash that you can earn on thier exchange . yobit isnt the one that do this  .

there are some exchange that i visit and also have a mini game feature as well as gambling feature.  mix feedbacks are being recieved by them because some love it while some didnt

I am aware of Yopony but I don't have that many funds to play that game if they lower the bet to something like 0.00001000 I'll definitely play it's a good game actually one of their attraction actually besides their dice game, this is the first exchange that has games and betting in the platform.

Almost year ago since I left yobit trading site and this is my first time to see that kind of game . I think many people who trade in yobit play this games the op won more than 8 times of his capital and that is good.  But because even that's a good game for me maybe I don't play there because I have other games in gambling that I need to play and I have plans where I spend my bitcoins not on the YoPony.

I played that game like 2 years ago. It was fun to play since the way it works is same to the game I used to play when I was a kid. This is quite addictive to play yet managable. The reason why I stopped playing this is because at that time, Yobit has issues and I found it difficult use. Fortunately I see this thread and I knew that it's still running. I could try to play it again for the next days.

I still did not understand how the honesty of the race result is ensured. Too confusing rules that explain pony speed.

Probably they somehow put a twist on their services. I remember that this is not the only time Yobit held a gambling game. They had a dice game before this. So this means that they have multiple services other than trading coins. Do people have a calling for this? A site with a combination of exchange and gambling game?

Yeah, and it's much better than Virtual Horses games because here you have human interaction/competition.
I'm enjoying it most when there aren't any real races with a live feed.

Since I do use yobit and I saw this thread I went in and took a look.
But it looks to be 94 hours (4 days) till the next race. Makes you wonder how many people are actually playing if it's that long between rounds.

I might drop a little coin at some point in time, but it's not going to be any real gambling due to the time involved.
I am more of a get in...play...get out...person.

Well, sounds great. Just like all in one site and you can enjoy gambling while your head seems to be broken form a very stressful mind in trading. I think they want to build a big community whereas you can find all that you want in others. But the big mistakes they have are the unresolved problem and hopefully, it can be resolved and people's trust was back into this company.

However, I did not play on what OP has shown an image looks like racing but I don't have an idea if I am right.

You can verify the bets once the race is finished, just click the "verify" button and you will see the hashes and other stuff for a certain race. I am not sure about how exactly the calculation what done as I am not a techy guy but you can take a look and verify the legitimacy :)

this is the verification link for the last race: https://yobit.net/en/yopony/verifier/502

But it's disappointing to find the game doesn't starts for the next 4 days. I just wanted to check out the game but the next race is scheduled after 92 hours while the pool has increased to about 0.1 BTC. It's a form of lottery but much more fun than just tickets. It's a better gambling option than dice on the site.

First congratulations on your winning since you win the first time I'm sure you will try it, again and again, until you realize that it's still a gamble and the house edge always win, I haven't tried that I seldom login to my account only to trade the coins that I hodl that Yobit has in their platform, it works like a dice game to me in their platform, you will lose at the end.

I played before in yobit a dice game and my experienced was good because I won but it still little profit that I got but maybe because I already quit to use their platform or not trade there because my trust already done to that site so I ddcided to loeave and transfer all ny coins that I have in there to the other trading site like Binance which is more better to use right now or as of now.

I guess the prize you got is very high because from 100k satoshi returned was 800,000 satoshi and that is good profit but the chance of winning o this game is very low because they have 10 pony and percentage for you to win in this kind of games is only 10 percent and the rest will be 90 percent of possible of losing thei money so this game game created by the yobit is very risky.

The game was cool and it seemed like I was getting interested in wanting to play there. But unfortunately after I read how to play it, I disagree with this

Calculations of pony speeds depend on EN chat messages, bets, sum of all bets, microtime, pony number, md5 hash of previous pony.

That means, if I just registered on the yobit exchange. What that means when I play this game. My horse's speed will be slow.

Nope. It didn't affect your horse speed even though you are newly registered. The speed of horses varies depends on the given factor that I mention in the OP. It's randomly generated on each horse. So the game needs pure luck in able for you to win.

The game is like a dice game but with multiplier more than 100x but the chance of winning is 1/10 so basically a good choice to gamble but in terms of the prize that you might get, you can win less than 2x of your initial bet so you might want to take the chance to bet on a pony with lowest bet value

I haven't played it yet but I'll try now! Actually I played the dice on yobit platform and lost a couple of bucks. The pony game looked real hard as so many pony and hard to predict the outcome and hence didn't play. But now I understand that it's easier than I thought, also congrats for that huge prize :D !

Do you have a detailed tutorial lesson for Yopony on youtube? If you do, can you share it?

That means, if I just registered on the yobit exchange. What that means when I play this game. My horse's speed will be slow.

Nope. It didn't affect your horse speed even though you are newly registered. The speed of horses varies depends on the given factor that I mention in the OP. It's randomly generated on each horse. So the game needs pure luck in able for you to win.
Pure luck indeed no one knows how the system being generated. You need to place your bet and then closed your eyes and wait if how things will works. If you are that lucky you will win and enjoy, if not then forget about it and move on. Either you want to try again or leave the game charge to experienced.
There are too many odds of playing this game. If you bet on only one you only have 10% of winning the game and I believed that the speed of the horses calculated by the system, It is indicated on the game rules
Quote
Calculations of pony speeds depend on EN chat messages, bets, sum of all bets, microtime, pony number, md5 hash of previous pony.
Somehow it's hard to compute that kind of system tho, So it's just better to just rely on our luck.

Disclaimer: I just created this thread to share my experience and to know other players who still playing this game.

I'm not playing that yet but I might get encouraged to play that game I wonder how high is the house edge there must be a house edge on this kind of games, Yobit has been the first exchange to implement such games in their exchange, it's additional income for them, I think so far they are the only exchanges who have done but I don't know if there's some exchange who follows this feature.

I wonder which math formula you use so you can say that there is 99% chances of lose while players are choosing 1 out of 10 horse (even players can bet on several horses). It is indeed a type of lottery game but the winning chance does not like a national lottery where the winning chance is so low. One more thing, is it true that Yobit is so famous for such game while it is basically an exchange? Even worst Yobit has very bad reputation in this forum, I will be agree if they are famous because of their bad reputation.

I am tempted to try but I am not sure exactly how it works.
Do you have a detailed tutorial lesson for Yopony on youtube? If you do, can you share it?

There is how to play information that you can read on the site, I believe it is just a simple game where you have to choose which horse will win the race. All the collected money form all bets will be the prize pool and if your chosen horse win then you will get a share of the prize pool based on how much is your bet amount.

Clearly a lottery in Yobit’s style 😂 but think this is a funny game that bettors will enjoy ,and seeing the results here?i am now. In a side where wanna try my luck in YoPony since I have no luck these past times that I try to gamble either online and real life.

No, right now I'm not playing that on Yobit,  but nice to see one guy winning this game I lose a lot on their dice game just last year from then on I just concentrated on trading, I think it's a new game I haven't notice that people are more on trading than playing, if people want to play they prefer a dedicated gambling site, but Yobit is starting something that exchange never implemented before, their goal is to become a hub for traders and gamblers, it's like hitting two birds in one stone.

Their house edge on the dice is significantly higher as well xD yobit is like a test from God. It has both trading and gambling option. Trading is less profit, more patience but profit is guaranteed. Gambling is more profit, instant game but huge huge risk. Yobit will take money from rich traders by exploiting their greed lmao :D

You cant say that Yobit isn't making any profits or having less profit on their trading. If you do try to look their current 24 hour volume then you can
say that this exchange is doing pretty well inspite on all the negativity and criticism on most people on this market.

They do integrate gambling and an exchange all in one and I do see their games do really had high HE but people do still love to test them out.
Its their money so its their choice.

When i had tried out their dice in the past using up some shit coins or low value coins then i do already lost up my interest and leave this exchange. Now they do remove it but they replace YoPony which i havent tried also.In op that was some nice profit for a gamble due to curiosity but luckily it did pays off. If i have some extra btc then i might try this game also due to curiosity.

Well I think that it looks good but I haven't really tried it yet since they have a minimum bet of 0.001 BTC .
I think I will try it out if they made it a little more smaller since there are still some people out there who only wants to try out some games with just a small amount,
Just to experience it and know if we would continue to play or stop.

True that it is like a lottery, but I am afraid I still do not quite understand how well it works since there is no proper tutorial on it.
Maybe someone should make a tutorial video, like I asked before in this thread, and post it here. It should be done by Yobit guys because that would be a good way to promote it I guess.

Well, I suggest that you play it with the btc you can get out of their signature campaign. It is so much fun! Brings me back to the good old days in playing in the arcade. However, the pony varies on different mechanics. This includes chat in the trollbox and also bets.

Interesting game but due to the shady reputation of the site it's best to stay away from that site. BTW I just checked out the rules for the game and it seems like the site pays out 90% of the pool in that round so is the remaining 10% goes to the site or gets carry forward to next round.

If it's really related to luck. Then it will be better to play. I like this game sometimes, because it does not depend on our expertise but hope with luck alone. Maybe I will try this game.

The remaining 10% will use to buy PONY token. This is the benefits of holding their PONY token. This game is interesting and fresh idea. I never see other Exchange or Gambling casion that offer this one of a kind game.  :)

Now that I joined Yobit sponsored signature campaign and because I became aware of it, I thought it's something like a dice game, I used to play a dice game before on Yobit, maybe I can try it once since they offer a good winning, but I wonder if the house edge is low, This is new on my last campaign it was not part of their features, good for them they are adding more games, to keep their traders entertained.

The house edge is 10% of the total prize pool. Your profit will depend on the total prize pool which will be determined thru the ratio of your bet to the total bet made on the winning dice.  So if the prize pool is 1BTC and you bet 0.001BTC on winning horse while there is only 2 players bet on winning (other players bet 0.002BTC). Then your profit will be 1BTC-0.1BTC(10% house edge)(0.3333 your bet ratio to the total bet) =0.3BTC while other player will get 0.6BTC.

----

I believe that sample profit computation is a good winning?  ;)

Most of the times, accusation against exchanges are from frustrated users who broke rules and get banned by the exchange. So I don't think Yobit is as shady as users have made it look like one.
I still remember in 2017, I was a regular coinflip player on Yobit. Minimum amount used to be 0.02 BTC and game was fair. I made some 0.06-0.08 BTC back then. YoPony is new game and much better than coinflip. I think it worth a try if one has additional funds because odds are very less in this game and not to be played with your main gambling funds.

He is pertaining to the issue of withdrawal and lock funds of some user which has proof but yobit is very silent about the issue. But yobit already settled that issue a long time ago and we can't
blame them to accuse as a shady exchange since Yobit already did some shady behavior before. We need to be fair on both sides.

Anyway, I thought the race are like every hour or every 2 hours? But, I guess the race happens weekly? Or what?
IMO, its better to have a race every hour or twice or thrice everyday to make it more interesting for the bettors. Weekly race seems boring, except It will gather more prices in the pool.

Not lottery to be exact but a kind of. There are 10 ponies, you can bet on any. After the stipulated time is over, one of the 10 ponies is declared as winner (winner pony is chosen through provably fair script) and 90% of the total pool (total bets from all players) is distributed among the players who have chosen the winner pony in proportionate ratio. 5% of the rest 10 is used by YoBit to buy PONY tokens and rest 5% is YoBit's profit.

Never saw the game on yobit and I've been a user there since years. OR should I say WAS a user. I hardly logon to any exchange anymore, Yobit got too slow for me. I played their dice back in the day but they had such a high house edge and speed was too low to really encourage serious playing.

What was the house edge on yopony?

Just checked out this game and had some fun with though I lost several times. I advise risking small amounts only due to the high house edge involved. Am personally not really a fan of yobit games, but this could be appealing to certain investors.

What was the house edge on yopony?
As the posters above have already mentioned, it is around 10% which is pretty high which is why I don't expect big wins from this game unless luck favors you heavily.

I do not think they are able to control the game result as it seems that it is a provably fair game using hash. I'm not an expert about it so I do not know whether the game is real provably fair or not. Anyway, any gambling game is risky. If I have some money to gamble, I would not even try this Yopony due to some reasons such as high house edge and the reputation of the site.
I have to admit that the game is indeed attractive, it remains me the game on jakcpotracer but it has gone already since the drama on moneypot.

Nope, Yobit are slowly expanding the range of their business rather than just being a trading platform alone. That Yopony game isnt just for "mini game", the website slowly engaged into gambling, and the weekly race doesnt mean that its just an extra feature, but because they are making a large price pool for the winners. However, those "fast paced" game youre referring to isnt the same betting game as the race of the ponies.

Back on topic, Do you already bet for tonight match? only 9 hrs left ...

I have seen this Yopony betting game in my email and I dont think its interesting, except that I love betting in everything I see that gives me the interest.

Anyway, I thought the race are like every hour or every 2 hours? But, I guess the race happens weekly? Or what?
IMO, its better to have a race every hour or twice or thrice everyday to make it more interesting for the bettors. Weekly race seems boring, except It will gather more prices in the pool.

its okay if its done weekly or not daily because yobit was a trading exchange at the first place  and yopony is only added as a mini game or extra feature  but the main reason why people register on yobit was to trade and  not for gambling or for playing yopony  . trading is already fun and profitable , it also makes trader busy so they wont get bored at all if ever they place bets and waiting for the results on yopony and besides if they want to play fast paced gambling there are many gambling sites out there for example  bitvest.io (http://bitvest.io)

If youre not aware with their dice game in the past which is already been removed and been replaced by Yopony atm.
We cant say that they do really plan or focusing out to have both gambling and trading platform but at least they are
making some money on it somehow but this is just a minor game which isnt the same on a total gambling site out there.
Its their choice and its also a choice for its users if they would like to hang out with those horses.

So this is the reason why their dice game has been removed. I am finding this on their site for what I have known that they have a dice game. I thought that this yopony is a gambling game that you can gamble with small amount. With their dice there could be some small amount bets.

I am the kind of person that always afraid of being scammed. I don't see the provably fair on that game even it has a hash play records.
I had been promoting them before joining the signature campaign but I did not get paid for the last month I joined. And now, I am afraid if that is will happen again. So better to stay away from those kinds of companies that we are always doubted. But we had a different perspective way, others are okay to them.

No one knows why they remove their dice game but it isn't really that similar that we have seen on typical dice sites as of todays.

Here's some video sample of their dice back in the past: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mmj_4k2GE0

Unlocking the thread now. Yopony is still live on yobit exchange. The Yopony is just hidden and put under your yobit profile bar. The current prize pool is low but I'm expecting that it will increase drastically when it's near the event day.
