Everytime there are coins that are being advertise we get excited
we make rumors and lots of noise without knowing it forst hand
we are just excited about the bounty , and sharing links to others
to make lots of refferal and bonus
but at the end of the campaign after we found out its a bust we then release are sentiments toward it, how it fails and the campaign
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

Not everyone has the capability to judge the newly launch project whether it is a good project or a shit project therefore many will fall victim to kind of problems.

If anyone has the capability to check whether the team behind the project are all genuine and competent then we don't have to worry to this kind of issues. But if someone can at least provide a platform in which they will background check the newly launch project starting from it's team,capability of the project to succeed and etc. then we can easily solve this kind of problem.

I believe it's just the nature of humans to get excited about gaining more money.

I feel like people who are into crypto are more aggressive risk takers and probably for them it's hard to resist being excited about earning more money than they could ever imagined. Sadly, it's a trait that make many people loose and fall.

It's normal because most bounty hunters are not doing a research before start bounties. Most projects are really looking good before the end of the ICO or IEO. The next thing is the team take time for bounty distribution. The coin will be dumped when will happening the bounty distributions. Because most projects are distrutiong bounty rewards end of the all distributions. That means the bounty hunters are getting low profit for their works.

I barely trust new projects and i mostly ignore them, i only give few projects a chance if i feel like it will become successful, too many fake or scam projects that i promoted in the past have got my eye wide opened, if a project is new it should be capable for me to get attracted to

Most people on this forum or even most investor cryptocurrencies they will take an action to promote or to buy a coin will be depend on hype. They will ignore what the coin is and what function of the coin is, and these things are not wrong since the price of cryptocurrency will be affected by speculation. However, these thing are really for short term you can't ensure that the coin will be held in long term. You can find many altcoins who eventually delisted on the exchange. I'll not blame them, but I'll keep myself to avoid that bad habit.

Because the first thing that will come to their mind will be a new chance to make money from the new coin. So they make a noise in the crypto sphere and make much news about the coin. They will spread a lot of things related to the new coin so they can attract many people to join with them. But that will not take too long to see if the new coin will be worth to invest or not because people will see it later by watching the step from that coin. If they think that the new coin does not deserve to stay at the market, they will not have any interest to buy and sell the coin and even they will leave the coin.

new stuffs are always exciting just like when we here rumors about new phone models and other gadgets   . new crypto coins dont also differ from that but you are right that people lacks research .

they only say things like this and that but they didnt check the original link or the source of that rumors/news  . are they lazy or what  ? but sending bounty link and other referal links are a different story anymore ,  its the people resposible if they will join it or not  .

This scenario is not really evident these days as the crypto-community is more mature now as compared before the 2017 bull period. I was thinking that if  ever there will be a survey "asking if people did get excited because a new coin has arrived in cryptosphere?", then I am afraid most respondents would have provided a negative feedback! Why? Because the  cryptosphere right now is very saturated with mostly under performing projects or at worst, most were producing shitcoins to scam people!

And who would ever get excited right now especially for a new coin if they had already learned their lessons before? like they had suffered massive loss because of their excitement to a somewhat promising coin but it turned out to be a hoax! I guess most of these people often dismissed this new developments and instead turned very suspicious on any new projects that are in the pipeline.

I'd say that this is not the case for all scenarios, people already learned from the past to determine if a project will turn into a scam or not but still, no can predict that. There are projects that failed to reach their soft cap and in return, stopping all their bounties/airdrops which will just waste everything that the bounty hunters worked for.

Libra had it's own hype when it first launched and the community became so excited about it, but when time passed by, we all started to realize the negative impact it may bring. We just have to be very cautious whenever we try to do something in the cryptospace.

New things always brings exciting part with them, its just like when a new gadget have been released into the market for example gamers are used to ps4 for now and ps5 is already around the corner, the excitement is in the air, new projects always have same excitement at least for start until things doesn't go as we hoped for, not all new projects are bad so its better to do your own research first

New coins always be promising new concepts and also they says it will going to the moon if we involved in new projects but in fact is almost all upcoming projects lack of interest because people are getting tired always be lost to invest at ICO or IEO and as people says we only rich on the paper but the reality is far from it because when the coins listed on the echange then the price always beyond out people expectation

Most bounty hunters don't do their research before joining any campaigns. We should take note that when we join a campaign we devote our time and effort promoting a project. Take time reqding through the project, it would save you time and that way it would lessen the exposure of scam projects.

I don't know who the "we" you are talking about are. But if you see people getting all hyped up about some new token, you can easily see if it's a shill. For example, they will say "Great project" or "great developers" or "good market cap" but they actually never say the practical things like. I used this coin to do a smart contract with my friend and it worked. World is full of shills, watch out.

Not all people, only bounty hunters (spam hunters) are more excited when they see new coin/ICO. I don't think there is much ICO investors from this forum user. Because I think most of users of this forum fully aware about current scam trend. So who will want to loss their money knowingly. But hunters never care about projects or coin, they just start campaign and promotion. Start spreading links and word about coins and from some other sources investors coming on the coin. If eventually project or coin turn into scam then everyone will in loss. Although spam hunter are not worry about that, they just forget after finished campaign. Who could stop them from become over excited?

Its not bad to get excited when you see new projects, for me i always feel excited when i found solid new project especially if they have bounty campaign, what i don't do is ignoring the fact that i have to do better research on the project even if it appear to be a solid project cos who knows? it might be scam attempt

Most times, bounty hunters are the ones that get excited and jump after projects, without carrying out the necessary research on it, most especially when they see that the pool is much and attractive. Sometimes, people also easily get carried away by hypes. If investors  are not careful, they can be misled.

It is because of all the hypes that are created. It is because of those shill accounts or people that promote those shitty altcoins. When they see that the price is getting pumped while those shill promote the coin, they get really excited. They think its going to be too late if they wait and miss their opportunity to make some quick profit. So they don't bother doing their own research of the coin after hearing those "fake" positive news being spread out. But one thing. They do learn their lesson and becomes more careful the next time.

Mostly new investor judge book by its covers. I have seen lot of times that person joins a signature campaign, get selected in it but doesn't actually know a bit about the project he's promoting and tech behind it.
The general conception among participants it to earn money rather than promoting project. When anyone joins any campaign or bounty, he should realize that he has the responsibility of promoting the project. Rather than just fulfilling the rules put by manager, he should try to do more because ultimate personal gain depends upon the success of the project.

It's not true at all. Remember all the result will be determined by the developer behind the project, I meant about the result of the price of each token in the market.
if you are thinking if that's an easiest thing to forget it and then move on, what will be happening if the more developer will be abusing its bounty.
Investors will always be the victim in this case included marketing participants.

That's human nature, people rushes on everything that is new, and project though take advantage of this by creating a lot of hype in the beginning, and the most I heard about a new project is "calling it a bitcoin killer", Lol. Then after the hype has died and people make money out of it, they chase the next big thing and it's going to be a vicious cycle.

The thoughts of many when they see new project is the look of another ETH or bitcoin that can make them rich in few years so they dream of getting rich in their head and many do not bother to research the project first, its just like when creating  a big Hype for a project and people invest based on the hype

We have already realized that not everything is perfect by bumping into the hard wall a long time ago. We have recently forgotten what's better because of the terrible state of bounty. Although the project was good, it was very difficult to make a profit. The good ones do not need bounties anyway, the rest are mostly garbage. The best is the bounties pay with top coins, which is more logical to join them now.

I've been through many projects. There were good projects on my way that brought me money, but there were also bad projects on which I did not earn anything but only lost either my time or my money. However, I agree with you, it is not necessary to despair because of failures, but it is necessary to learn lessons and continue your work further. That is the risk of investing money in every cryptocurrency, there is always a win and some loses. In time to time we can learn the things we should do everytime we fail in our investment. Just one answer: We can be greedy too. I mean, we are concentrated on "What's-in-it-for-me" or what we can get so that we are already blinded and already biased to the concern on whether the project can be real or legit or NOT. This syndrome is quite true with people who have the propensity to promote anything that comes their way disregarding the basic vetting system and then when we learned that the project has turned into a big scam that is when we express our honest opinion about it. This is actually sad because we are becoming like an "accomplice" to the crime, so to speak by promoting it to our circle of influence. Study any scam and this story is repeated in there again and again. One of the reasons why some scams can take time to get weeded out is because there are people who are endorsing the scam to their friends just to get referral bonus and other incentives. When are promoting a scam, we are actually NOT helping this industry move forward and be elevated to  higher level.

I completely agree with it, it might sound like a fool but this is the truth.
I have been involved in my project(of course I am doing the research first, not talking all of them into account directly) and it is hard to differentiate the project that will fail, scam and success because of its current situation. The market shows us its disinterest with a new project which leads us to think the project might be fail but when the sale finished we were shocked to know the truth of their successful. So true! Most of them did not do research first. Plus, at the moment new projects don't really bring new concepts and ideas, they just copy them from existing projects and modify them a little. I am also confused about such a project, how can they be successful if they do not really think about their plans carefully and purely? That’s so very true as majority of the people don’t even know why they are investing, as mostly they done because they feel or seen someone else do the same. Personally I had such a friend who constantly send me links on new projects saying that this project is 100% worth to invest or participate in. And every time it was a failure. So, I just started to ignore his "advices". Unfortunately, there are a lot of such people who just advise everyone new projects without doing a research. Just to make a fuss.

actually I have to look at the concepts and platforms that they developed first because when I just watched and didn't understand I didn't really like it but when I had started to understand what was developed from the coin then I could decide to be interested or not.

there are many reasons for that but the two main ones are usually the fact that the new shitcoins pay them to advertise it for them so they get excited as they find a new way to earn some small amount of money online and also it is partly because always the new shitcoins can get pumped a lot easier than the old shitcoins that have been around for a long time and have gotten pumped a couple of times already.

Well, I am not excited. I don't judge easily those new coins but I am seeing their capacity, performance and their product before buying them. Those newly released coins is hard to assure that they are really worth to invest. Also, those you are talking about spreading fuds usually are the shill ones or the paid users to promote the coin.

And yeah, those who are new to the crypto space and desperate are investing to those new coins that are newly released without further knowledge about the coin. We can't control their decisions but as a suggestion, why don't we just invest to those coins that are already established and reputable ones?

New projects don't even care about the bounty hunters and referral link sharing airdrop hunters. The crypto community is getting excited with the new unique idea but not all projects prove the assumption, the failure rate is over the average in my opinion. There was a topic entitled "We are all rich in spreadsheets". This title tells us a lot things about bounty. We should not think about getting rich when we see "big" numbers in the spreadsheet.

They are not legit users if you have to think about it. Teams has its own marketing staff who will also hire someone who knows how to market in crypto and normally these ICO marketing experts have users readily made to comment like the project is good and so one and then backed by more users hired by them to make the project interesting for others when they read it.

All are designed to manipulate all, high rank users are also hired to shill and join the campaign all for the purpose of making the project look good for more bounty participants to join.

The problem with those people who don't know how to do proper research is they are keep repeating same mistakes. Keep following what they've think

This is what I observe as well in some of the bounty participants. They dont really care about the quality of the bounties they have working on rather they care about the quantity of it. They just value quantity over quality and that is not good as most of the projects out there turns out to be scam or fraud.

In my own personal opinion, people get excited when they started to see a new project or a coin without knowing it first because they expect that it could be good and profitable at the same time, but in the end a lot of investors and bounty hunters will still get disappointed to the project that they will start hating it and realizing that it is all a waste of money and time. I also think it is maybe the reason why people always take risk cryptocurrency because they are having too much expectations in every projects and news about crypto.

Yeah new coin is like new brand of coin. But actually only copy from old coin. With good advertising that is will make people excited.

I think investors are tired enough got scammed by "looks trustful" projects out there.
Sometimes there are already nice factors that signed the project is good, but the result is always bad :(

People got excited every time there is a new coin in the market because they look at it as an opportunity to profit.  They don't care whether it is a bad project or not, if they see an opportunity to get money they will do anything especially with referral system.  They will flood a certain forum or chat boards with their referral links and even do some scheme to make people click their link.

Excited, I think that you are lost man, with the way that people detest new projects now, I don’t think that anyone still gets excited over a coin that is  newly released knowing the part that majority of them has played in the past on the way investors are being scammed, people would happily accept a project only when they are very sure that it is solid, and that is why you see that people gets more excited on binance IEO than the normal ICO that they have all given up on.

Normally, if ICO was good, people usually do get excited in the past, because it is a new national cake that is being prepared to be shared, imagine you invest in a new coin, and it gets pumped by 800 percent when he enters an exchange, who would not get excited about that, do you know how much that would mean?

Sentiments, whether it's positive or negative, always affect the project's progress and the coin's value all in all. We've seen so many projects get endorsed by big personalities and later on will exit scam once they get huge funding for their project. You can't trust a project just by sentiments alone, you have to look at every angle you possibly could before you start investing.

When a certain coin is hype, the more excitement they will feel.
For us who are not know here in the market, we know the trend it follows everytime there's a hype so short term investment, we can take advantage to that. Usually the newbies in the market will love to play with the hype but since they don't have much experience, they failed to play the game with timing.

Us who are experienced already, we know when it pump hard, after the pump is a big dump which is what we called a correction.

You can say it is our fault as we are not able to judge the project at the initial stage and our greed of getting cheap coins through ICO or free coins through bounty makes us believe the project will be worth a million. There is nothing wrong in hoping for the best but still we need to be prepared for the worst.
In both the case, investment and bounty, we should not be depended on it and always keep at the back end of our mind that things can go in the other direction which may not be expected.

For me, the enthusiasm in looking for gift tokens is due to the need factor, I don't have a real job and can say that my full time is only in this industry, so if there is someone who is very enthusiastic in promoting the project is normal, because crypto has a redistribution of wealth in investment . and this only depends on how someone takes part in this industry.

not really  .  im a kind of person that doesnt get attracted on a new release coin because i think they are only here just to make a profit or to make a competition but without a real puspose on why they are created   . thats only my opinion but others opinion could be different on mine  .  for me , i am already contented on the coins that i have or what we have right now becuase they are lots of them already  and i dont think that we need more .

The cryptocurrency market is full of a wide variety of ideas, some of which are very multi-communicating.

People are excited every time there's a new coin, thinking it's going to be the next big thing, and they're hoping the new coin will make them big time, or the new coin will have a better technology compared to the coin that is already traded on the exchange.

Not easy to launch new project and attract investors, so many projects fail, even is not scam, 100s of new projects come with same idea and concepts.

Those who have experienced many failed projects do not get extremely excited over new projects without doing proper due diligence, mostly newbies do that. Sometimes is not even about experience, after doing your research, at the end the project fails maybe due to poor management, or inability to hit soft cap, regulation issues, internal team issues and many more setbacks. I agree with you that we should move on without wasting much time hating on the project when it fails since more cool projects will still come.

I personally do not really expect the new altcoin even though the opportunity is big enough but the risk is also great.

Most of new coins nowadays doesn't conform to what was promised, and probably interested participants for those project offering new coins to the public sales. They've creating hype and other promises despite of having no assurance for successful launch. Unfortunately, the most awaited part begun to show signs of failure, when it was listed on exchange cheaper coin value would stun you in the first place.

Because people are greedy, when you see new project that promises better future than Bitcoin, you will not invest into estabilished company with certificates and guaranteed profits? And that is th peoblem because scams look to good to be true.

Lol we’re not,maybe you because being a bounty hunter your always seeking for another new coins that need to be advertised,but you are only few and the majority of cryptonians are tired of these new coins that mostly will turns out as Shitcoin or a total scam currency

Exactly. I wish people with the required skills and  knowledge can provide that kind of service. We really need it.
In my opinion, it would be better to have such service rendered from decentralized platforms by randomly selected competent people. This will definitely make things harder for scammers if done correctly. And this people have to be paid.


   

The reason behind this kind of phenomenon is simply because those kind of people are seeing an opportunity. They see that there is another opportunity for a new coin and since their emotions are on top because of the news, they just act using their emotion and not their mind. They don't think about the basic fundamentals that they should do before going into something and mostly it resulted into disappointment and frustration because they are not educated enough and aware of safety precautions in investing or going into some project.

We cannot generalize. There's many personality types and traits that describe people. Going in blind and working for a possible scam coin is a bad idea but people are doing it and will keep on doing it. Where there's money there will be people ready to do anything to get it.

Reality inside this industry. People are willing to take chances to be part of any new projects that being introduced,  taking places to acquire early position by investing or bounty hauntings without further investigations.
They are after with quick benefits and fear of losing opportunities, this types of behaviors are the reason why scammers are not having any problems working inside this market. Support are there when you give interesting offers. Both bonuses or high rewards for bounties.

There is no excitement anywhere. Almost every investor is try to weighing the two sides of the coin, by taking some risks, perhaps it might work out fine. Although, I know of some projects that are still trading above their fundraising price. which is on its own, an encouragement. If most projects, particularly the new ones are are not yielding the expected result, it will seem as if one is just there, without achieving anything positive.

Since many new projects have failed me i don't trust them anymore unlike before, its rare for me to be excited about any new projects when i already have it at the back of my mind that the project can fail anytime, the truth is there is nothing to be excited about if its new project

Inexperienced bounty hunters are always on the go to participate in newly launched project without further research, once they have known the allocated funds for bounty they will support it without knowing if chances of being a scam project is high or will it be a good project. New coin - new solution to old problem. I think that's why most people are excited. Also there is always a chance where one of the new coins will become something big eventually. But yes, their expectations should be managed.  :)

In a bounty hunters point of view it's only natural to get excited every time there is a new project with bounties is introduced on this forum because they have given the chance to participate and earn their coins by simply doing some tasks. Most of the hunters do the job as quickly as they can due to the bounty staking calculation because the earlier you work with the project the more coin you could get at the end of campaign, they do researching during the campaign or sometimes they don't which lead for scam projects to get advertisement for free.

They just think about getting more tokens from such projects even if there is no unique idea, working product, the usefulness. The research is mandatory for the investors but the situation is a bit different for the bounty hunters. The bounty hunters care about promoting the project and receive the reward as fast as possible. The evils know these facts good and they use the free"horsepower" of the crypto engine.

People just follow the trend. They don’t do proper research about the project and just invest in it because they see people making profits and making miracles, so they believe that it is very easy to do.

I don't. I only get excited when the coin has a use or is based on a game and can be used and investing in to. without a use just yawn.  :-[
The last token I was excited for was tokpie. A token backed by bounty hunter platform and exchange. It has a reason to be in hodl and gives perks. I is also necessary to trade.

this one is simple! people want to earn money. so every new project is just a chance to earn some money
either trough bounty campaign or through mining the coin while diff is low,  or maybe help with decoration, web site or media promo for reward
every new project gives these possibilities and people use them

Whereas not all new projects have much better innovations, many projects have the same technology without innovation and improvement. usually they will only attract investors and leave. I'm not too excited for new coins to come, unless the coins come from well-known developers like Facebook. of course the news and people who are interested will be very much, and I will very excited to see what coming next from development of these coin.

hmm makes perfect sense, the goal of everything is to get free money. and every time there are new coins or new projects, people will immediately join the bounty campaign. don't care what will happen in the end. it's free lol.

I don't think everyone can do it or have the time to deepen the new bounty. So we often see things like that. Some people only see how much money is given to the bounty and they are immediately tempted and implement it. Or they just do gamble, get paid thanks, nothing is paid. They think there is no harm in trying.

Maybe we are excited and encourage to their features and function without knowing the risk. And all we know that people who are here in crypto business are experienced loss and want something new and new opportunity so they are not think well before investing because of eagerness to win back their loss.

Where is even the money now because I cannot remember the last time that hunters make profit from any bounty campaign that is being released, for a while now, the only compliant that I have been hearing is hunters not being paid or even when they eventually get paid, they earn just little amount from a long project, which I don’t think that there is still any hunter that much that will not care about the project knowledge or research.

People now values their time, and everyone now does lots of research to ensure that the project they are trying to invest their time in is really worth it which is even more important to them now than the profit. Every project that I see now, I make sure that I either shun them or do a thorough research before engaging them.

We couldn't blame them for what they believe because not all projects are scammers or making any fake promises. because other project will bloom at mid of their sale. and bounty users now are wiser than you think. they want to support good project with products and have a long term goal because they benefit on it. so investors right now are easily pick a new and great project with the help of those wiser and smarter bounty participants.

That is how hype is being effective in the market. But I have fear that, if hype isn't effective anymore, how could a new project succeed and gain supporters in the future. There shouldn't be scam projects as it affects the worthy ones directly. Furthermore, with regards to new projects, it depends on how they present their project in marketing strategy of their own, if people gets excited about it, meaning to say that this project has a good voice and has a potential to be successful and the other option is to be considered as scam.

Well I'm not, been into so many coins promoted so many of them  and invested in some of them, no new coins can excite me anymore, after seeing what looks like a good project to just go to waste, maybe those who are new into the market are excited to promote and invest in these new coins, these news coins have a lot to prove not in their crowdfunding stage but in the market, so many new projects are good in their ICO but failed miserably in the market and there are so many of these coins, some of them even landed in the scam sections.

It’s such a foolish act to through your money when you don’t know things properly better invest in a coin you know and just keep holding it. We always suggest new investors to get knowledge before starting and spend on coin you are sure about its progressive performance. I like bitcoin and ETH the most because both of them are having huge potential to rise.

There are also some project who doesn't have buzz but in the end turns out to be more legit and much developed. I saw many projects like this, they dont create hype, social group are quiet but in reality their solid platform really speaks for their nice project. Github is a good source of potential project. We can literally see the improvement of it day by day.

I can't even picture bounty hunters mustering any enthusiasm for these crap tokens which are constantly being released.  One would think that after the first 100 of them amounted to nothing that they would learn something from that, but nope.  Nowadays those bounty hunters are lucky if they even get paid at the end.

They never research about technology, the team and the vision behind that project. It is a main problem of profit loss. First, we have to read about what is it bringing to us, how it will contribute to blockchain etc.

This is very true. When airdrop or bounty is announced, its based on the ICO/IEO price of the token. Say 10 million dollar bounty. But when it actually hit the exchanges, real price becomes so much % less that bounty pool becomes 10,000 dollars  :)
This is what the situation of 80% of bounty rewards holding. I think we should just ignore the initial price set by projects for their ICO/IEO.

When I see a new coin coming up, I go to its website and check everything in detail. %99 of new coins are shittcoins with a really inexperienced team. I get shocked how they introduce themselves as CEO, CTO etc when they have no knowledge of blockchain. We should be aware of these when we are investing or even joining bounties.

A new coin does not mean it will be a successful coin. Even 15 year olds tend to create a project now and all they know about blockchain is Bitcoin. We all have to search really well about blockchain projects because I have seen terrible websites with terrible teams. Good projects can be understood even by looking at their website, design and interface.

Those are newbies, the experts will always do a lot of effort to dig the information about such coin. They are trying to get their chance but they don't realize what the risk that has already faced by them all.
As you can see that people these days are so crazy to bet on a new coin. This is the real implementation of how wild the speculation market is.

Being a new user it is not good for the crypto users to invest in new coins before investing in any coin he should gain knowledge about the coin only then invest. People who make the mistake of trusting blindly are increasing in number so they should just stop and wait for the right time of selling and buying. Newly joined people get more excited than the old one while purchasing so they should control their emotions.

The ones that are making noise about these new projects are themselves. Because they have to attract attention from everybody so that they will get more investors. While the bounty hunters are happy about it because there's exposure and PR is so good, they've never thought that those kind of projects can soon turn into a scam. That's why in investing, always be careful with those projects and also be a bounty hunter that's always curious into knowing more the project.

That's normal I've experienced that, everybody experienced that, you will get wet if you dip yourself in water, if you are bounty hunters there are always chances that coins that you are promoting not knowingly will turn scam or paused their project or never give your stake at all,
that's the reality, there are just some bounty hunters that cannot accept that they spend months for wasted efforts, I used to be one of them.

Some bounty hunters do not have time to do research before promoting a project, some just check allocation of the bounty in $ and that's all. I was surprised to ask a friend what he considers before promoting projects and he said "when many people are promoting it and when allocation is cool" but that's not a good enough reason. Yes, doing your own research is far more accurate than getting or hearing research from other people's results, and other people's suggestions are only for your consideration and you will decide for yourself.

Some new coins are worth getting excited over but to detect them you have to do your own research to find our if they are worth promoting or not, forget about rating websites because whatever you see if far from reality

I agree. We should also be extra careful upon promoting new coins knowing that we don't know yet if it has all the potential of being a successful one. If ever we do so, we would just end up leading many people into the wrong path wherein they may consider it as a waste of time if ever the new coin fails. We should be very responsible on picking a coin we are going to invest in to make the most of it always.
