Really?can you at least provide enough information about it so people wouldn't be confuse and to provide them enough understanding about its specific purpose so that they don't have to conduct their own research about that just to make sure if its worth to see or read. In that way you can also attract peoples attention, and make them interested about it. For sure that there are still a lot of people like me who isn't familiar with it.

what project is this? I have just heard about Openlibra and yesterday I just heard about UpLybra coins  ;D ,I think since the hottest news about the upcoming launch of Lybra (Facebook) coins, there have been many new coins appearing on Lybra's name. not because I don't believe in your project, but it would be better for you to immediately enter detailed information about your project, so that other users can understand it.

A-ha :) next in the making is probably the OpenLibraFuture that's fork of OpenLibraAll pegged on OpenLibraAll that's pegged with libra that's pegged with fiat bundle that's pegged on nothing.
(I am guessing that this is a joke coin, but my sarcasm radar doesn't seem to function when it comes to new coins)

I am not so sure but I think OpenLibra can just be a big joke of a project. Nobody can actually be sure if Libra can be able to make a splash in the market now that there is a growing number of oppositions from different sides of the world. The pressure has been too much that many of its backers (the ones making up the Libra Association) have now started to get out from the project and I think this can't take until the end of the year and Facebook will be announcing that the project is put on hold for the time being. The reputation and resources of Facebook is not doing any good to the project.

And then suddenly we have this OpenLibra? Oh well, I am not shocked to read an update of the project here:

Quote

The creator of an “open” alternative to Facebook’s Libra stablecoin initially misrepresented which organizations are involved in the project, CoinDesk has learned. Four individuals and organizations have disavowed the OpenLibra project, which was unveiled Oct. 9 at Devcon. Others say the extent of their involvement was overblown.

Outside of Aggarwal, representatives from Chainlink, Web3 Foundation and Hashed have told CoinDesk their names were used without their permission on the OpenLibra slide deck presented at Devcon. (https://www.coindesk.com/members-of-openlibra-disavow-project-days-after-its-devcon-unveiling)

Now, that can be an amazing start of a project that is supposedly a fork of the original Libra. At any rate, this can be a very good entertainment for all of us in the world of cryptocurrency. OpenLibra, Libra, Joker!

What is this? An announcement thread or some sort of an advance heads up? Or a scam maybe?

There is not a single important information given in the OP except that it says OpenLibraAll is a fork of OpenLibra. And OpenLibra is a fork of Libra I suppose? There is now a lot of forking even if the Libra project itself has not yet launched, or may not even launch at all. Tell us more please. You look stupid this way, and funny, too.

I also don't understand what you mean (OP), I just heard about OpenLibra what I want to understand in this thread. The reference link isn't there either, so I hope the OP understands that not all understand OpenLibra so provide accurate information not just a few words.

Are you talking about this project https://www.openlibra.io/ judging from the content of that project we can tell that it is trying to be the opposite of Facebook, I would not even support this kind of project that uses a popular project to promote their project, I would have to see what Libra coin is going to open when they launch, before looking on these other Libra Coin.

We will see more project coming in just to use the word Libra in times for Libra Coin's launching.

lol ..... that doesn't make sense. so how can we trust the project you are referring to? on the other hand you also don't provide some sort of information about the project, I don't see the team, whitepapper or project road map. What exactly is OpenLybraAll coin? I hope the next day someone / you will not say some kind of family from Lybra coins back blah ... blah ... blah .. :D

please, if you want to make an announcement, post it in the correct forum. the announcement forum is better than here. This is an altcoin discussion forum not an announcement.

LOL. A fork of a scam. There are many of these newbie IDs that are creating fake buzz about some coins that sounds similar to Libra. There were mushrooms of such sites and now they have entered the forum for advertising. Users should be extra cautious while dealing with them.

OpenLibra actually participated in a devcon but they used names of different companies and person as their members who had nothing to do with the project at all. Sounds like a scam in the making.

I never heard or read that OpenLibra before, and yet there is already a fork, right now I don't trust any project with the word Libra on it, obviously they are taking advantages of the promotion of Libra Coin, there are already five to six Libra coin related projects and obviously they are just meant to deceive and scam people, these developers will not get support from investors because they know the story about what is the real Libracoin.
