Most people would not even dare to try new platform not unless it has something new or great offer to new users. There are already a lot of good and established exchange, and trying new exchange might put new users or traders to risk. Traders look for exchange that is secured, fast withdrawal and deposit, and also convenient and with easy registration.

Do you have examples of any of these new exchanges? Because the only one I can think of right now would be the new exchange from John McAfee, and the other exchanges that have been launched are all small ones and wouldn't get volume anyway.

Best options now are to just trade mostly on decentralised exchanges and only used centralized ones for as short as possible, and make sure your keep your funds in your own wallets!

Traders tend to use popular exchanges where it was already on the track for how many years. They find it more secure and of course its better because the number of users is much higher than the newly released exchange. If more information was publish about the new exchange maybe its possible for it to use by many traders.

That is pretty much the rule of thumb for anything in crypto, from exchanges to investments, wallets, and alike. Scammers are everywhere still, and letting your guard down is not a good idea.

While new exchanges for sure will throw anything to attract new sign ups to their new exchange site, however, careful study needs to be done first before even giving them your email address to register. I would rather wait 3 to 6 months and look for a feedback than send them funds and they can run away with it.

Better look at who is behind it as well, are they active in the social media? Are the people behind it searchable in the internet? What are the back ground of the people behind the new exchange site that pushed them to start a trading site.

It's pretty obvious that you really need to take a look at exchanges today, specially those who claims to be have no fees, no KYC because I doubt those claims. Exchanges nowadays are being mark by every government so I doubt we will see a full centralised exchanges that don't require KYC at all. Maybe it's a marketing strategy in the very beginning, but as soon as they gain reputation, everything will change so better read their ToS as well.

I don't know what your purpose of creating this thread is. You never care about the discussion in the past and suddenly start creating two new threads. What you're suggesting on your OP is obvious, and everyone would probably do that even if you don't mention it.

There is no need to open a new thread if, in the end, you run away and never respond (unless you create it for another purpose).

You can start in the scam section where members of this forum posted their experiences on particular exchanges, then you can use Google some bloggers are reviewing exchanges performances and ratings coming from users experiences, don't use new exchange until they establish their reputation as a good exchanges, there are coins that you might be holding that only tradeable in small exchanges, again be sure that exchanges have no scam report.

I have never used a new exchange to trade or save my assets, it is better to use an old exchange that is already popular and reliable, why I have never chosen a new exchange because there are several users, coins are registered a little, costs are always expensive, I need to see some next month for its development.

I am not keen of trying and using new exchanges if they don't come with better features/perks than the existing ones. Of course an essential factor is having enough liquidity and volume to trade there. To this date I haven't seen a decentralized exchange with decent volume and leverage all-together. I think that would be a real great hit and I'd gladly change my current platforms to that!

Unfortunately, most of the exchanges coming into the cryptosphere have high commissions, practically no volume and are very shady.

This new exchange will be use by newly finish ICO project to list there token for the reason of this exchange has small listing fee and sometimes its free.
Experience traders will not use newly exchange unless there is a  token/coins he has that only listed to that exchange and want to dump it there.

This is good for the market. The competition is good for variety as it gives investors choices to go for in the face of what you want. Also, some exchanges are also going down too.. , while some new ones are in ICO and IEO level ranging from gaming exchanges etc.
However, doing a proper research is very important before investment.

Yes thankyou for sharing, those many exchanger may have many case directed to fraud. But I at leats do some reseach before do trading(deposit) to exchanger. I have considering it all through Coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/) to see about all activity of exchanger by volume. But we can't avoid for new exchanger or inovation, but we can be wise to make sure about credibility those exchanger.

There are members here that frequented new exchanges and they have the habit of giving honest reviews, but so far I haven't heard anything very positive about an upcoming exchanges except for shills account.

I agree that we really need to take a deep look at new exchanges popping around, they can offer something different in the beginning but it doesn't mean they won't pull a exit scam, so we have to take a look specially liquidity and trading volumes so that we won't get deceived in the end.

You are right about this. You cannot trust any new exchange that comes up out of the blue with any team.

Look at nexybit which was following that "trade mining" method like some other Asian exchanges like Fcoin and what happened to them? They sold off their company and told investors to f-- off. They had got a large number of investors who were looking forward to getting dividends from holding their token generated by "trade mining" and now their tokens are worthless.

Its even bad that there is no legal authority to got after their owners because of this and basically they scammed a lot of people.

Probably wouldn't trust any of the new exchanges unless they release one that is fully decentralised and tested by the crypto-community, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to try new exchanges unless there is something very wrong with yours.

I use idex and binance for altcoin trading and then kraken and localbitcoins for bigger coins and cashing out, what would you need to use a smaller, newer exchange for, that these ones don't have?

You are right enough. I would like to give you +2 for you. But I have a quick question: How do I find out a reliable one? Which isn't a scam and always pay to the buyer/seller. I came across with different crypto exchange websites (https://exchange.all-stocks.net/) as an example. I already registered myself and be a member on their board. I already started buying/selling. Can you shed some light on that? I will wait for your further reply. Thanks!

I don't register on the new exchanges. I've seen reports that these new exchanges are risky because they can hold your funds and change their terms if you want to proceed to withdraw it.

Be careful of using the new ones and if you insist, deposit an amount that's good enough for testing.

Lol no traders even the start ups who’s not using anything about searching before investing because our money is at risk.how can you expect a person that will trade in a exchange that he doesn’t even know?while scammers are all around us?

Not only in past but until now,I have seen another crypto exchange that’s just closing this soon though they have good reputation yet they decide to put closure without concrete reason for their users

That's why everyone investor should minimize the risk of their money. If you aren't satisfied then you should deposit amount of coins.

I dont trust new exchanges because im just careful not to end up having regrets again for trusting easily my coins to their exchange. There are many who comes up but is it reliable? Have a research first and read some reviews.

Well its better to stick in old reputed exchanges because they are already well-established so why risk to new? if many reputed exchanges are existing.

before when bitcoin started trading, very few exchanges supported bitcoin, if I'm not mistaken considering only tradehill and MT.GOX, and now there are lots of exchanges, maybe dozens of cryptocurrency exchanges, it's not easy to choose good, good security and comfort, but my advice be careful not to lose your money.

Don’t praise Binance that well because we don’t know in future if the consistency and the reliability will remain ,as we knew many exchange that was good and great at first but in the ended as scammers in future.i don’t say that it’s binance but still possibilities are always there
.but that is right we don’t need another exchange because we already have a lot that is supported by more cryptonians
