Title: as a publisher paid for with bitcoin?
Post by: btcdie on October 13, 2019, 03:20:36 PM
which platform to pay the publisher blog with bitcoin?
as I know as many publishers who register it on google adsense and others in it.

I want to generate bitcoin / crypto assets from writing articles on blogs. I am tired of using Google adsen, I want to try a platform that pays with bitcoin or other crypto assets.

A probably decent alternative that pays with bitcoin is Coinzilla[1]. I personally haven't used it, but I've seen it being used on big crypto-related websites like Coinmarketcap. As far as I know Google adsense still pays the best though.

I know a publisher that is very satisfied with CoinTraffic[1]. It pays with bitcoin for every X views.

I believe that for publishers the best is to receive in cryptocurrencies. Even if you don't want to hold them, just receive your btc and exchange it for fiat the same day.

In addition to the above, take a look at this list[1]. It's a little bit outdated, but most of these services are still working.

I will suggest for cointraffic which was mentioned above they are lesser strict than coinzilla base on my experience. While on cointraffic you can apply for their press release publishing which every article they want to publish they will pay you 20 EUR, and that's different payment if you apply for their banners/ads shows on your site.
Links are mentioned above already for both sites.

I used A-ads.com before https://a-ads.com/, that's how I discovered Bitcoin and probably my very first BTC transaction comes from them  ;D
I tested many before and I liked how the site works. I was receiving payments daily and automatically, I did decent money with them.
If you have a decent traffic it worths to give a try.

I used A-ads back then but didn't think that I get more from them, what I understand is they just paid publishers from actual click (CPC back then) of the ads that shows on the website not with impressions (CPM), since visitors are unlikely will click some banner ads on the website so revenue is not that high. But applying a-ads is still good afaik. Lots of publishers still use them.

Back in 2016, I used Mellowads in my two faucets and I earned good amount of money daily. Mellowads is still alive but not sure about the current pay rate or their reputation.

However, check this 9 Best Bitcoin Ad Networks (that work) in 2019 (https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-ad-networks/). Already the top ad networks are mentioned in the top two posts.

Thank you for your reference, some services are still functioning. but was updated last year (2018). I want someone else's answer, and discuss it. because there are so many ad publishing platforms, it makes me confused and doubtful.

Steemit and publish0x.com are two blogging platforms that reward you Crypto assets for using their platform, you can earn two ways here, by posting your content and rewarding publishers and voting them, not really big amount of Crypto but as long as you are promoting your blog and actively rewarding bloggers that crypto assets will grow, and those Crypto assets are coins with good potential in the market.

This publish0x give hydro ,BAT,DAI and other token as a tips to publisher .
While steemit as i remember given thier own coin to publisher but all of the rewards is already in the market so easily convert to btc if you want to.

I just tried it and was accepted. I do not know what will happen with my blog. hopefully high traffic & btc continue to flow

I have tried both, and the results have been rejected. maybe my website is too early to be registered on that platform. for websites with high traffic I only use Google Adsense. I have 4 websites / blogs, only 1 received at cointraffic.

Do you have recommendations for a better alternative that doesn't require a bajillion views monthly? Their payrates are pretty low although I noticed CPM on their sites (if you're aware).

Cointraffic is probably a better option. But if your website is really good, then Adsense would give you a better pay rate.

Some of my sites are on AdSense, but the remaining few don't qualify due to low traffic and "lacking sufficient content".

I did check out Cointraffic, but then:
Quote
Your website must have a minimum unique visitor per month rate of 10,000 and above.

Afaik, adsense doesn't disqualify a site for low traffic but they do for insufficient content and also the content must be of high quality. Nowadays SEO doesn't help much if the content is of low quality.

If you are looking for Bitcoin Ad Networks which accepts low traffic sites then I guess there is none (except a-ads), every network has a minimum requirement either on traffic or alexa rank.

But there is some Pop-up ad networks that might accept low traffic sites, such as Propeller & Adcash. I suggest not to popup ad networks because it may negatively affect your traffic.

It's weird to me. OP says he is tired of using AdSense, most popular and ad network with a higher pay rate of all. If google approves ads on his pages, it is a win-win combination to monetize web traffic.
But, they say that have low traffic volume and probably they have no chance to be accepted from Cointraffic or Mellowads so he must think about low-quality service like Propeller ads and put critical Pop-up ads. So because he is tired of Adsense, he wants to leave the best and largest capacity to probably worst (Pop-up) monetizing method.
Whatever in both situation he needs to bring more visitors if he wants to have any profit from there.

OP, there is one thing that you need to knoe before starting. None of crypto ad networks aren't paying as high as Adsense does.
You can check full list of ad networks here which is updated frequently:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5055068.0
But if you have low traffic, best networks won't accept you. So, you can start with A-Ads or Bitcoadz.
@examplens, if he have low traffic and if he would put pop-up ads on his blog, probably he would lose even his last visitors.

Indeed, one of them is unable to fulfil the criteria since it does not have sufficient long articles or posts (e.g. a discontinued product that was only released to a restricted market). An example if you're curious, Counter-Strike NEO (https://csneo.net). The best I could do is to keep it with at least 10 pages.

Looks like there are no other choice, since others either have strict requirements the and last two like you said, get on the visitors' nerves.

thank you for your answer, actually I have a team to work as a blog / web writer, and each team has their respective duties. I and the team take care of about 10 web / blogs, only 2 have high traffic that is registered on Google adsen. so the remaining 8 that have low traffic, I want to try monetizing a blog that accepts bitcoin payments. of the 8 blogs, some of them are mine.

google adsen is the best platform with high payment, I just want to find a sensation with bitcoin payments.  ;D

You always can add crypto ad network without removing AdSense. It works, but you have to watch out for visitor experience, no one will go back to the page if it is overloaded with ads or like LTU_btc says the worst-case scenario is to use a pop-up. there is no sensation here with the bitcoin advertising network but you can earn some BTC amount if you have solid traffic.

You can't go wrong with adsense, the API they have are just going to provide batter ads for it to have exposure. Have tried some bitcoin network but didn't work for me when I combined both in my website. If you can publish some gambling articles you can try to make contacts to BTC casinos instead to make a contract for advertising for bigger banners on your site. I'd like to hear your experience upon combining both network too. Where do you get your traffic?
