Title: Iceland Referendum about Auroracoin [AUR]
Post by: radfuk on March 17, 2014, 12:31:46 PM
Hi2all who believe into cryptocurrency changing world:) Sorry 4 my English.

As you know yesterday (at 16th March) the Crimea referendum was held (with positive result) (about separating from Ukraine and joining to Russia).   The number of residents in Crimea is ~1,994,300 (on 2012-2013). The referendum was held only for one day (detally it was for 12 hours - from 8am till 8pm).

The Iceland is independense nation. If the Aurora currency will be legitimized, the price will grown up with speedup. It's so because another nations should be legitimized Auroracoin too. And all over the world will momentally make [AUR Accepted]. And all world businesses that want to make cryptocurrency accepted (and couldn't do it earlier) after Aurora legitimized can legally keep accounts (because in the most countries there are not regulations governing cryptocurrency now).
And it's not necessarily to avow the Aurora as alone currency in the country. It's enough to avow the Aurora as addititional, or one of the major, or simply legal currency of Iceland (with possibility to use legally registered conveyancing transactions).

The number of residents in Iceland is only ~330,000.
If majority of the people will be stakeholders then the nation will be interested to legitimize Auroracoin. And I think the people will be holding currency until price not be grown up.

The referendum will take only few hours. Only this referendum is enough to make 30 AUR is enough to buy a house. And to make 6 Auroshi (or 6 Balduros?:)) is enough to buy 10kg of carrots:)

I belive that (despite obstacles) the distributing (airdrop) of Aurora coins will be held.

There's about as much chance of Iceland accepting this coin as their currency as there is of it accepting matchsticks  ::)

One day ago I ironically wrote this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516509.msg5721797#msg5721797

What about the new referendum?   ::)

Give Icelandic people the right to make new decision!  ;D

They have to stay responsible to prevent the new financial collapse again as well as the development of the polar greed.  ;D

and you decide to take hard earned money from Icelandic people?

All Icelandic people need is the new financial Ponzi. Do you plan to convert whole nation to accept new Ponzi?  ;D Very ambitious. ::)

They wouldn need to accept but only tolerate it. This way the entire population gets to buy a new house (;)) and maybe become an economic miracle from accepting a crypto at large scale first.

Anyway, any news from the parliament discussion??

1)there is no necessary of pumping this currency. Now is necessary to create a demand of currency. To create the demand it's necessary to legitimize the currency.
2)Ponzi scheme is excluding because nobody says to buy AUR, and people who are receiving AUR by airdrop are nothing lose.
3)there is no necessary of supporting authorities. The authorities supporting can speed up the process of integrating currency only.
