Crypto is down? compare on how down it was at the end of 2018. You're putting fear to the people especially to the newly ones that probably invested during it was a little bit high. The article suggested is correctly for bitcoin but I'm not familiar with Qash and Tzero.

Out of the 10 coins mentioned in that article, these have better chances of making a good run to be very profitable: Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS, NEO and even Stellar Lumens, as to the rest they must have some surprises right under their own sleeves to get the attention needed. Waltonchain, tZERO and QASH may not be that known compared to others but if the people behind these platforms are working well this year then they can expand fruitful harvest next year. 2020 is already near. I can see nothing special in terms of changes of the top 10. For sure, it will be topped by Bitcoin and then followed by ETH and then XRP, and then followed by the current altcoins in their respective ranks. There might be changes in the 8th, 9th, and 10th ranks though and a little reshuffling of their ranks. Apart from these coins, I don't think there will be a very special occurrence to happen in the following year.

Do not fully believe in predictions in the future, indeed the year 2020 is near, but still have to be more careful in trusting predictions for the Top 10 Cryptocurrency, because it could have been predicted far off and not as we expected, if only the prediction would be 100% correct, then from now on traders will buy as many coins as possible to wait for a good price next year.

I have a completely different altcoin portfolio for 2020. Now there are a lot of really good projects from the top 200 at the coinmarket. I have a portfolio of 30-40 coins, which I plan to constantly change as they develop.

Predictions are not 100 percent accurate and sometimes you will be on a losing side. For me Bitcoin and Ethereum will dominate the market alongside with NEO.

There is no one who can predict what will happen to the price of the cryptocurrencies, do not believe to those people who predicting the price even though they are popular people. They are just speculating the price of the cryptocurrencies.

NEO and EOS outranked Ethereum so I am not satisfied with your article especially that the explanations are very short and there are no further details that can really help the investors to decide whether they will side to your ideas or not.

Example for NEO, being forecasted by professionals and being familiar in Chinese government is not enough explanation why it will become the most popular currency in 2020. And the explanation for EOS is very short and it has almost no details why EOS will dominate the market this coming 2020, it will be best if you will gather some good useful data's first before you publish any article so it can really help the investors.

Well, I wouldn't say that the crypto is down. Many coins are much higher than they were 9-10 months ago, and definitely higher than in 2018. Look at Bitcoin, from $3,200 to $8,000. It was higher than that, yeah, but it is still pretty good. As for the coins that will go big in 2020, it is not that easy to predict what any coin will do, or what it might happen to it, or how the investors and traders will react to events and changes, so I wouldn't take anything from this article for granted.

I do not want to hear about any predictions or top altcoins to hold in 2020 or something familiar. We all know that such things do not work at all, and are created with only one purpose, to attract attention to the listed coins.

Well. If we are going off past numbers it's definetly down from the ico hype period where it was 20,000 for a Bitcoin. Let investors be informed and telling them that the market recently went through this changes is a good thing.

It's a pretty basic and average list, covers most of the big players that have potential to grow in the next year and it'll definetly be something interesting to see.

I bring another subject to light - DEFI. Decentralised Finance has been getting huge in the past days and I really think it could be the start of something great.

For bitcoin I don't doubt it anymore because this is the source. For ETH, EOS, NEO, and XRP there will also certainly increasing in price movements. But the one I like the most is XLM, one of the first coins I know in crypto world. Until now it still survives, and will continue until no one knows. What I like about XLM is that the shipping speed is fast and very cheap worldwide.

So what will happen to Tether,BCH and BNB? I don't see any reason for these coins to leave from top 10 ranks in marketcap value in the very next year which is not too far away from now.

At the end of the day it's still a prediction so we should not really fully trust this 'cause we'll never know until we reach 2020 and see how other coins will perform in the market. Well, I don't doubt the others like ethereum, litecoin, neo, and eos. Especially bitcoin, knowing that it'll be part of top 10 and will dominate among the rest for the next coming years.

Tether shouldn't be in any list because it's a stablecoin. I find it quite annoying that a lot of index sites have Tether with its $4 billion market cap weigh heavy on the market cap of Bitcoin. It should be put in a seperate stablecoin category.

BNB is something I can see do well if Binance manages to find a new utility that requires people to buy and hold it, which thus far is kinda limited with how the IEO hype has been losing a lot of momentum.

As far as BCH goes, I don't see it add any utility over the hundreds of other coins doing the exact same thing.... this is a coin I wouldn't ever consider to invest in for that reason, and then there are also the toxic people backing it.

I look at projects that have stood the test of time to lead the markets in the coming years.  Litecoin,  Bitcoin,  and Doge are my favourites.  As much as I'd like to say xrp I really don't like it as a good hodl and a potential market leader.

Stellar Lumens is a very strong project. I am sure that it is necessary to allocate 10 percent of your deposit for investment in this coin. they have very strong marketing and they do a lot of technical developments.

You should read the topic and that article carefully before replying, mate. Recently I have been seeing many irrelevant replies which are prohibited according to the forum rules! So, to keep your account safe, stick on the rules and replies in a constructive way.

I don't believe that any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin, EOS, Ethereum and Litecoin can dominate the market. Especially NEO is a dead project, the project has not made any progress for 2 years. The team is pretty quiet and the customer service is pretty much worst. Looks like an abandoned project. Besides, I don't think Ripple is a good idea for traders. Since there is supply of 100 billion, price fluctuations will be minimal.

If the prediction comes true or not, I will continue holding my Bitcoin & Ethereum then buy them at dips as much as I can because I strongly believe that these two strong coin will boom in the next coming years. It's early to say but nothing can stop them to revolutionize our financial system, I have say this because many have tried but failed to do so.

Personally for me only waves , insolar and stakenet have high chances to make a good impression to market in 2020 as dApps in waves are getting stronger , insolar is having mainnet launch on 1st november and they are also number 1 on github for over 12 months and stakenet have the richest roadmap and a good masternode with low ROI which means the token must be a high value in time ...so lets see what 2020 will bring to altcoins.

I don't believe in many prediction specially in the coming year 2020. But if we talk about bitcoin's increase I believe it will continue to grow before the year 2019 end or in early days of the year 2020. Not because I am holding bitcoin but I believe that bitcoin can survived and make another history that can change in every bitcoin holder and investors.

So many predictions are there, but I think in the next year it will not change too much for coins that will dominate and become the focus in the market. still on coins in the top market now. but there may be surprises from some new coins that are starting to experience development and updates for their platforms that are starting to run. now look at a few coins from a new project that is still sluggish, but has a large community. then it will be possible in the next year there will be an increase and surprise from the coin.

yes you're right, for the coin you mentioned earlier. I don't think we need to doubt that. before 2020 eth, btc, ltc, eos and xrp have dominated the crypto market and I'm sure it will last a few years.

but who is confused why there is no BNB there, BNB is the largest exchange token at this time. has the highest marketcap compared to its competitors. their technology is also far superior. so I'm sure bnb will be one of the coins that will dominate the market.

XLM is one of the coins I'm very bullish on for long term. Their development so far has been mind-blowing and I really hope the price soars in future. ETH is my second major holding, BTC being the first of course. I'm hoping ETH 2.0 brings more improvement in Ethereum blockchain as a whole aside the added staking function, although the actual date is not known when it will come to past.

We must not need to trust those predictions because it is just a prediction and also we don't know yet what will be the situation of the crypto and the market on the year 2020 even now, we still don't know what will be the situation of the market before this year ends. Right? This top 10 cryptocurrencies that are predicted has no assurance if it will be follow those people who predicted them. So my point is we don't need to rely on those predictions and it would be more better if we will make our own decisions so that there will be no blame time in the near future.

The market is rough and that $20,000 was quickly gone. I don't think it's still good to compare the prices from that time. It has already passed and there's no way for us to see it coming back again so quick. We will eventually be back at that price but no one can easily tell when it will be.

All cryptocurrencies from this list are strong coins. However, it is very difficult to predict in advance what will happen in crypto during 2020.

From the list of coins and tokens in the article, the most interesting for me are BTC, ETH, Ripple, and Stellar. These coins have unique niches and fairly strong market capacity. The price reduction that happened lately is quite deep, so I see a big enough opportunity for bounces, just waiting for the right timing until spring really arrives for cryptocurrency.

I don't know without McAfee (his predicted coins are dying and a lot of investors lost their all of the initial money so now i don’t think he is a crypto influencer) others which crypto enthusiasts are predicted those 10 coins will be dominant in 2020. Bitcoin,Ethereum,EOS,Ripple,Steller and LiteCoin those are most possibility to dominate in 2020 but NEO,WaltonChain,QASH and tZERO (i didn’t found in CMC) those are how can be dominate in the crypto space in 2020 because i don’t think it will happen with them.

I'm going to disagree to agree with some of the Cryptocurrencies in the article OP posted. There are a host of coins and tokens with far more opportunities than the ones in the article. I don't want to mention names. But If I'm to choose, It'll be something that's still in the trend. NEO or waltonchain doesn't seem to meet that criteria at the moment.

PS: I'm not in any way saying either projects are bad or not good enough.

In my opinion, 2020 will be an interesting year for bitcoin. Halving will affect the movement of bitcoin prices and this will also affect altcoin prices. Aside from Bitcoin, tZero is also one of the most profitable investments and this year has shown good price developments

I have read the article and I think that the three coins WaltonChain, QASH, TZERO should not be on this list. The total market capitalization of WaltonChain, QASH is about $ 50 million, and TZERO I don't even see any information on CMC. So how can these three currencies dominate the market in 2020?

The top 10 cryptocurrencies are mostly interesting projects. They couldn't reach this far if what they are offering to the market is short of interesting. But I need to mention that at least a couple of them reached this high merely because they are sprouts of Bitcoin. Without this reason, they would probably be wallowing in the bottom ranks with shitcoins. Do I still have to mention them? Oh, but why are there altcoins that are using the name of Bitcoin?

Most of them are already dominating the market and of course, btc and eth will still be on the list but I don't really see the benefit of ripple being there. Most of these coins are held by a lot of investors and some coins such as BTC, ETH are always the top choices in this market. Firstly, don't believe McAfee. What he says is entirely irrelevent because of the fact that he is so clearly biased due to his ongoing commitments in his McAfee DEX. Furthermore, his previous predictions have been entirely disproven by time and he's only speculating to gain following.

I don't think that Waltonchain is going to make the top 10 by a long shot. Their market cap is simply too low to climb to this kind of status in such a short period of time.

I always don't think that XLM will necessarily continue to be popular - their previous tactic of airdropping through blockchain.info to create hype has died down.

John McAfee truly, might have followers who believe every bit of thing he says. He has also made a lot of predictions that eventually did not happen they way he projected. So going by his prediction, yes some of the coins Weill definitely rise when there is/are update(s) that will make it to happen, but depending totally on what he said, might result into flaws.

I always say that cryptocurrency is unpredictable and that anything can happen. Things can work for good or may turn the other way round. Nevertheless, there are still great coins out there that are worthy to invest in especially in 2020 which is just two to three months away. I believe BTC, ETH,XRP and ripple will dominate the market next year.

I believe you made a mistake. Ripple and XRP are one and the same. The only Cryptocurrencies that have stood the test of time are those big cap ones and those with sustainable business models and plans. Like you, I wouldn't place big bets on smaller cap coins especially those bringing very little value on the table. My list includes everything in yours plus BNB and XLM (stellar Lumens). 2019 didn't play out as most of us hoped. Nevertheless, 2020 promises to be even better. Let's be on the watch out. More solid projects/startups will span out soon.

One solid cryptocurrency project that seems underrated is the Stellar lumens. The foundation has done alot of developmental work to improve this space as well as on board new cryptocurrency users through its adoption drive. BNB is also a worthy contender for the best projects in 2020. Its contemporary utilities makes it very indispensable and a strong competitor

Yes, bitcoin is the main investment, and right now, bitcoin has started to increase, so the chance for the price to reach the highest price will come. Ethereum will be the next potential coin, which can increases too as they will launch ethereum 2.0 in the next year. So that can help the price to increase to a higher rate. BNB, GRIN can also increase and will be the next potential coin in the next bull market, but we have many other coins that can rise too. I think we have chosen different coins to buy at this time, but no matter what coin you choose, you need to be careful and make sure to buy at a low price.

The coins included on the list are all promising indeed but depending on such assumptions would lead to absurd conclusion. We should keep in mind how the market behaves at this moment. Stability still is lacking with the market value of the cryptos. We still don't know how would prices move at the end of this year. So maybe, if you have holfings of huge crypto, it would be better to hold still but if you are planning to invest right now, think twice in order to avoid regrets.

Yes, you are right. XLM is really crazy in its development. It will fight poverty. We will see it in the next 2-3 years, what is late is made by XLM.

everyone has a different favorite coin and prediction. I suggest doing your own research and believing the coins we have chosen. I am optimistic for 2020 on bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and EOS coins. The coins mentioned in articles such as WaltonChain, QASH are still too foreign to me. honestly I don't like altcoin because the price is very volatile than bitcoin, I only hold bitcoin. according to the previous jhonmecaffe prediction he said the price of bitcoin would touch $1m then he recently raised it to $2m by the end of 2020.

Qash, tzero or walton chain, I don't know of any of these coins, but the remaining ones are really the top coins that I can also testify to that any investor an rely on, when the bull run for altcoins and bitcoin comes, they are still the coins that will really make the list of the coins that will pump more in value.

Bitcoin being the very first of them is a coin that there should be no one in the market to joke with because if all coins fail us in investment, only bitcoin will never fail anyone of their investment in it, and for the fact also that it serves as a coin that many people wants to use for payment of goods and services.  Those other coins are also good for transaction purpose also and I think that they are very cheap and fast for transaction which is why they are regarded as the top coins too.

I also do not understand why people are trying to find next BNB coin instead of having a real BNB. QASH is pretty useless coin and also it is not interesting for investors, just like BNB is. BNB is a deflationary coin with regular coin burnings which guarantees that the price will go up in the long term. You can use BNB in various ways. As a fee on exchange, as a gas on the blockchain, as a fee for listing, as a coin for lending and I believe that much more use cases will come in the future.

okay. BNB is good. No denial in that but do not make it sound overwhelming. QASH is useless but XRP is something and if he plans to convert XRP into BNB, don’t you think better would be to keep both of them. BNB is not the only coin that will produce benefit in long terms. Bitcoin and ethereum will give far better results than this coin. Moreover, your use cases are not limited to BNB only.

Neo, Eth, Ltc I would agree with even tho I'm not 100% sure about Ltc.  It's always seemed to me to be dying in popularity and I don't think it's a great investment coin.  Ripple will probably remain popular throughout 2020, but I can't understand the reason for it's continued popularity.  There are so many other coins on the market that are so much better than xrp that you'd have to be a fool to buy a great deal of it.

Qash and tzero I've never even heard of, which makes me wonder if *any* of these predictions are really going to be accurate except for bitcoin.  That's a no brainer.

Could be but all of these are already dominating the market. I think its too biased right? The topic already can be answered here by a lot of people cause obviously these projects on the top list will surely dominate the market. Maybe, better if what projects have potential to increase their market cap and application maybe 5years from now.

LOL, never heard of this two coins so I don't know why the OP has included it in his list. On the other hand, NEO, ETH, LTC and XRP are still way below their all time high, but that's because we are still in the bearish market. But I'm sure those coins are going to lit up when we enter bull season again. Obviously, Bitcoin takes it all, the price has somewhat rebounded back nicely this year as compare to the majority of alts, so on all the list of the OP, its pretty obvious that Bitcoin will continue to dominate for the next 10 years or so.

of course I think bitcoin will remain the most expensive coin and also dominate the crypto market. and henceforth I chose eth, ripple, BNB and Litecoin. I chose eth because eth will launch eth version 2.0 I also choose ripple because ripple has good technology and the price is still cheap. and I chose BNB coins because BNB was always committed to burning tokens. so this can avoid the BNB from the effects of inflation. so I'm sure this BNB coin will be more expensive in the future. that's 4 of my favorite coins in 2020.

I also have predictions that are almost the same, but some coins are not included in my list, namely: litecoin, neo, and tZero. these three coins in this period only, or lately it is very difficult to go up significantly. than those 3 coins, I believe more in the doge that will come to enliven the market in 2020.

I have not much of faith in tZero myself. It does not appear to be a long lasting coin. But other two are good coins and they have been in the market for long now. Though not too good at giving profits, but these can be trusted with money for sure. However, the top priority of an investor should be bitcoin as that is capable of giving the most in the least time. Top 10 keeps on changing but top one never changes.

I'd rather put my trust to the top coins mentioned by most traders. NEO, EOS and ETH are mostly trusted by the users since its obviously on top but there are some who dislikes EOS for it being centralized. BNB would certainly be one of the coins to outrank others since the exchange are going to be widely even by the US traders.
