The advantage of bitcoin's pseudo-anonymity. You can stay anonymous as long as you you know what you're doing.

If 6 and 7 isn't an exchange as well, chances are, probably some custody holding wallet like probably from Barry Silbert's Grayscale. Anyway, don't spend too much time guessing and trying to find who these wallets belong too as your time is better spent doing something else more productive.

Tim Draper is probably in the top 20... Other than that I can't help you identify anyone else.

Tim Draper, Winklevoss twins, Max Keiser, Roger Ver, Trace Mayer are the whales I know that they are in that list. Jihan wu, Craig Wright and maybe some core devs also have high chances. Can't guess anyone else. Jack from Twitter might be in the list too considering how interested he is in bitcoin.

We can easily recognize that the majority of BTC is concentrated among the rich (60% of the total BTC in wallets owns more than 100 BTC). This reflects the fact that btc is more like an asset to speculation than a currency of the future.

Is this relevant for anything? I mean is it good for us to even know who owns which wallet?

Good question, I really don't find anything unusual though, and we all know that whales and exchanges owns majority of the 100 richest btc wallets.

What makes it interesting though is that we have reach 18 million mine BTC, so it's better for us average joe to accumulate at least 1 BTC in our lifetime and be part of the 1 out of 21 club.

Yeah, that's quite old and has changed since then, but this link that you shared is the new one, binance-cold wallet still has 163,664 btc (https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/address/34xp4vRoCGJym3xR7yCVPFHoCNxv4Twseo/)

Just consider it a fun fact, those wallet belongs to major crypto exchanges which means they really have liquidity. Although there are some people out there who have more bitcoin than the exchanges but they can stay anonymous, another advantage of bitcoin. ;)

YeS. It is a waste of time trying to guess, and most probably all those Wallets are from exchange or another similar custodial service, as hardly one person would hold so much BTC.

Good link - that's the real time stats for the richest in bitcoin.

It's pretty crazy to think that there are 1,000+ addresses that have over 10 million USD worth of bitcoin in them, I'm assuming that they would mostly be cold storage for companies and exchanges.

What would be an interesting stat, would be how many rich addresses are owned by a single person, not a company or an exchange. It would be interesting to see some of that information... Couldn't imagine more than 600 addresses of the 1,300 addresses being owned by a single person.

I think author is just amaze for what he found out and knowing those Bitcoin addresses containing biggest amount and its so awesome. To let you know that its not too late to be part of 21 BTC million club, there are 3 million left to be mined. Be inspired and having at least 1 BTC is an achievement in my opinion.

An interesting fact is that no matter how many people or articles say that it's better to avoid address reuse, even most of the biggest wallets suffer from this.

I should be owning one of those wallets had somebody not robbed me on the way to the store...oh what a tragedy that was! Well, its good to see how huge those wallets are storing Bitcoin though many are really owned by exchanges which can be naturally gigantic. Can there be a chance that maybe one day I can be owning one of the top 100 wallets? Maybe in my dreams tonight. See you there!

Among those wallet how many wallets can we identify who is the owner. I have tried scanning and searching the owner but I just cant find it. Then I will just assume that some of those wallets were owned by the well knowned bitcoin billionaires. There are bitcoin billionaires but we cannot tell exactly where among the address was theirs.

Why do I need to know this? I do not think this information is useful to me.
It depends on you if you want to enlighten yourself with the information that they provide, actually its only for those people who's curious and interested about it. They are not forcing you to read or analyze it, they just wanted to share information that might excite others about something incredible.
