Is this the website on that Suncoin platform? https://thesuncoin.io/ It seems broken website and when I researched I saw that there is maintenance. Digging research is a good step in choosing an exchange platform, you can check them here in this forum their ANN thread. Here. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4500891.0). And no data shown in CoinsMarketcap, it is inactive.

I strongly recommend you to choose legit and reputable exchange like Binance or might check here the list of all exchanges site. Focus on investing Bitcoin because it has a promising return on your investment, but first, understand very well how risk in investing in crypto.

OP didn't provide a detailed link. We searched for SunCoin on Google, but that's what was found by @sheenshane. I think this coin is really dead, then from your friend, what would you recommend for a dead project, check again, maybe you are mistaken.

Are your friends crazy ? Suncoin seems dead, even when checking in the coinmarketcap suncoin there is no data that can be displayed, the site itself looks strange, you can check it http://www.suncoin.biz/
better to choose an exchange that is really safe.

You can buy different coins with that $10,000 of yours. I don't think it is advisable to use suncoin platform. Never heard about that though. You can actually buy different bitcoin and/ or different crypto coins in an exchange. You can buy in:

* ATM machines
* Localbitcoins
* Exchange Platforms (rather than suncoin platform)

Since you are new in crypto, you can check this out to further guide you:

Since your starting up with 10k$, might as well go for BTC. It has a lot of potential to profit and the market has currently crashed. Its pretty much a great opportunity to buy low and sell high later on. Besides, a lot of others has already said, Suncoin looks dead. And there's no guarantee that it would still come back. Might as well go for the most famous and most probable one that could return profits, BTC. I'd suggest some famous exchanges like Binance when your buying them.

I am not sure about platform you are talking about, I tried searching for Suncoin and only found projects listed on Coingecko and projects are not active,
my advice is you leave platform and try other platforms that are more trusted, such as binance maybe, or kucoin, because you have enough money to buy, so don't make it difficult for yourself to use an unclear platform to keep your money safe.

You are regulated by your friend because you are told to buy coins that are not active in the market, are your friends crazy? many coins in the famous exchange, do not be influenced by anyone including your friends, better look for a list in Coinmarketcap and go to the exchange to buy it.

Are those suncoin website? If yes, I will advise you to avoid them. The first website is currently not available while the second one has probably expired. . Avoid the mobile/pc wallet too if it has any.
The coins coinmarketcap data says "no data" https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/suncoin/

If you want to buy cryptocurrencies, use the established peer-to-peer exchanges. There are lot of them today.

You have a lot of trading capital so don't be confused to buy bitcoin, you can buy bitcoin directly at coinbase, or at the place of exchange directly and make sure you trade at a place of exchange that has a high trading volume such as binance or others.

Don't go for these unheard small platforms and rather go for binance and if coinbene is available in your country to buy bitcoin then use it to buy or else use binance for trading. Before you invest on any digital currency kindly seek opinion from experts in this forum and then do your research as you should not be buying coins when it's at peak rather buy at low.

As all the information is given above here and also avoid redundant answer just hear this my friendly advice.
Stay away as what you have heard from your friend(maybe he's not your friend) he let you fall on that trap and wanted you to invest.
Instead, choose bitcoin as your main investment. If you had invested Bitcoin a few days ago from this date I posted, you have probably earned a lot now. from $7400 and now $8400. Just a quick.

I'm curious how did your friend know that platform and why did she/he recommend you to buy digital assets on that highly unpopular platform while there are so many well-known platforms for all your needs.

Or you are just trying to promote your own platform?  ???

that's not correct strategies investing huge amount on only altcoin.moreover these coins looks like a dead coin.with that amount i will use half of them in bitcoin, and half left will in potential altcoin such as eth bnb xrp and many other.buying unknown coin will make us regret later when we its value become zero.

First of all I congratulate you for the mature decision to consult the crypto community here on Bitcointalk before making your decision. I haven't used, nor I've ever heard about the SunCoin platform & I think most of the community members here are in my situation. What does that mean? - Well.. they don't have any marketing in place - that COULD BE due to the fact that they are not reliable. However if you're just starting out in the cryptocurrency space you should use a more reputable exchange like Bitstamp, Binance, Kraken, Gemini, etc.

You should always buy from a high trusted website to not have the risk to lose your hard earned money, ussually many new people who are new to crypto buy from unknown websites and lose money, if available on your country make a coinbase account and buy from there, or try from any other trusted exchange or ATM if available. You made a good decision to invest on crypto, congrats.

IGNORE YOUR FRIEND. SUNCOIN IS ALREADY A DEADCOIN.

Here's what to do:
1) Study the risks of putting money on crypto - that will involve "what is crypto", "what is bitcoin", "different types of crypto wallets", "keeping safe your crypto", etc.
2) Try to understand the meaning of "volatility"
3) Plan on your next move. Are you ready now to purchase your first ever crypto? - BTCITCOIN
4) Choosing a platform to buy your bitcoin (depends on your location)
5) Then the rest, just ask a question.

That will take time but it's worth to put a study.

I don't even know that site. Kucoin is much better. Don't trust your friend mate $10k is huge amount for you to just give for free. It's not even existing or provide any working product. Even if it's existing, it just for pump and dump scheme which you don't wanna involve in. As others were saying, take time to study everything before jumping in. Scams are everywhere.

Don't take or follow your friends suggestion and its better to go with established exchangers than to this one.

Which one or coin you should buy? Go on purchasing 1 BTC and then youre good to go.Dont consider on buying up some alts because most of them
are shit so always stick to the reliable side.

I agree, be knowledgeable first about cryptocurrency and search a lot about bitcoin for you to know how it works and its importance. After that, you'll now secure your investment and own money. Volatility is also important, it is seasonal. Improve your planning and critical thinking skills. Good decision making is also important. After all of those things, choose a reliable and efficient platform and the rest will follow.

Binance is indeed a great exchange and you are sure that your funds are safe and secure, so for me the $10k worth of money to buy is really great thing, so if you want you can do it on Binance, or if you have local exchange that is trusted then  you may buy there as well. Just be careful with the wallet that you will use, make sure it is safe.

That 10k dollar i not small amount and OP should learn things and slowdown before deciding to invest.  investing without learning will caused of bankruptcy if you will not be careful.

You can listen to others' suggestions but don't waste your money investing it all once.

$10,000 for investment is huge that is why you need to check well the platform if they are legit or their commodity is feasible to the masses so that it could attract more people to invest making your money will surely grow but i think Suncoin is looks like complicated project to me because it has very limited details for a legit and a promising project.

Why to go for low rating exchange when you already trusted exchange to buy cryptocurrencies. Just search internet and you will find trusted cryptoexchanges to buy and sell crypto assets. Some of these exchanges are Binance, ,Bittrex, Kucoin etc. If you just want to keep Bitcoin and ETH as assets just buy it from localbitcoins and localethereum which provide you facility of getting coins in lieu of local currency. Do not put your money into any unknown exchange.

Could you link us to a website? this platform looks new to the community and i'm hearing about it for the first time. Everyone should be extra careful with it. we don't know yet what experiences real users may have on this so we have to be careful.

But personally, I am a big fan of Coinbase, Yobit, Binance and Kraken. I have never had any issues with either of them. they are well known, offer a lot of cryptocurrencies that are the top ones on the market and I can fault them. But for first time users I would recommend Binance, as they have a learning platform as well, and they have their own token BNB, its purchase gives such an advantage as reducing the amount of commissions for trading operations twice. Also, they have two trading modes, the main for beginners and advanced for experienced traders, and support many languages.

I would recommend you to buy digital currency on top exchanges like Binance, Coinswitch, Simplex etc. $10,000 is a good amount that you can investment on Bitcoin. My suggestion to you is before buying on any platform, do a proper research about that platform, check their reviews and then buy.

You have a lot of trading capital so don't be confused to buy bitcoin, you can buy bitcoin directly at coinbase, or at the place of exchange directly and make sure you trade at a place of exchange that has a high trading volume such as binance or others.
Op can direct to buy a bitcoin through the use of the coinbase but the his country are supported by this wallet because we know some of the country cannot buy or convert their bitcoin to the fiat. But incase they can buy bitcoin from coinbase the next destination is to Binance the trusted and highly recommended by the traders because of the high volume and lot's of coin to buy and sell and good for Op to be started there.
First of all everything is possible. When Chinese can still hold bitcoin and invest in it even after its government going against bitcoin then a person whose country is apparently not protesting this much can certainly invest in bitcoin by doing some search on internet and find a way to convert his asset into some specific currency. The only thing is perseverance and a little effort. Bitcoin is for everyone.

$10,000 is a big enough value to invest, I suggest not to try investing in a site that doesn't have a high name and rating. I tried searching for Suncoin and found 3 websites, the severity of the three was inaccessible and there was no clear information. Try to learn more about cryptocurrency, before investing you must know very well the crypto market.

It is not the technical merit alone that makes the currency.  It's also the network, the wallets, the merchants and to some extent the exchanges.  BTC has the best of these three things.  It will tend to always have the best of these things.  Inspite of its crazy high value there are very clever people who say it will go up.  Of course what you do should depend on your situation.  This is not financial advice for you.

If you decide to get into BTC instead, the following is for you.  Get a Ledger directly from the Ledger company.  Get into an established exchange but don't leave money on an exchange for longer than a week.  **Minimize** the duration of your money on the exchange.  If it's national currency, put it in your bank account.  If it's crypto, put it on your hardware wallet (ledger).  Keep the ledger in a safe location.  Don't tell anyone you have it.

I think the local ones are always the best ones and people keep forgetting them and try to find more global and big ones. If you are not from a huge country like UK or USA then your best bet is to buy from a local website, usually a website has more credibility than a person and its easier than a global one so you are getting best of both worlds.

Of course, if it is you want to make sure that the website you are using is a legit one you can search for it online on forums and all over and see how it is and if you see what you like then you can totally use that one. It is still better than using a global one because that is harder for deposits and withdraws on cash and its still a lot safer than sending someone money and expecting them to send you bitcoins.

After looking at the progress that bitcoin has made I the last few years and how it has survive to present even after huge protest and rejection from the community, I can now trust this coin blindly. It is the best thing that can happen to a person and if a person desires to become rich by not doing much, he can simply invest in bitcoin and hold it for a long duration. He will become a millionaire.

Because of you are a newbie in this crypto world i strongly recommend to you please get some idea or learn about crypto currency before you invest.

For the suncoin platform I don't recommend it, I just heard the name myself. My advice for trading be careful in choosing
exchanges, choose popular and trusted exchanges such as binance, okex, huobi, etc. At stake here is your money, so if the
exchanges are in trouble then your money will disappear.

$10k is not a very small amount of money to throw away just like that, I think this amount is more than enough to have investment in bitcoin, and still diversify into top altcoins rather than thinking of buying this unpopular coin that I even feel is dead already.

If you have such amount of money, you have to just make bitcoin your major focus first and then make sure that you have at least 50 percent of your investment in it, while you share the remaining percentage on coins that you will find in the market to have bottomed right now, but yet still have so much popularity, because the more the popularity of a coin is, the more we can say the community will keep growing up, making the value of this coin to keep rising, and that can only be seen with top coins.

Yes it seems. Apparently in this way, the starter star decided to draw attention to this project, though I don’t see much sense in it if it so quickly became clear that this coin is dead.
In addition, the heading is rather strange, the amount is indicated in a rather large amount of $ 10,000 and a certain electronic currency, the name of which is disclosed only in a post with a link to the site.
It looks like a typical ad, but it’s not clear why if the coin is already dead

I think local marketplace will be more good for him , since he has that such huge amount of money. I can advice he buys on their own local marketplace to avoid anything that can lose his money, he can also try to buy cryptocurrency in binance , buying crypto with $10000 in a high reputable exchange is the answer or buy it in local , P2P I guess.

Is it true that a friend recommended me to buy digital currency for transaction on SunCoin platform and only need to pay a deposit to operate? Because this is my first contact

Well, SunCoin doesn't look and sound like a legit marketplace to invest your $10,000 in digital currency.
There are many highly reputable platforms to invest your $10,000 in digital currency such as Binance, Poloniex, BitMex, Kraken, and Bittrex.
That’s a big money for me and I will never listen easily to any suggestion especially the exchange that I didn’t know. If the OP wants a safe place then he must consider this suggestion. If you are living in a place where crypto is ok then look for some good exchange there and do your research. Big money should be invested carefully, don’t rush in the market.

This is my first time to hear the Suncoin platform and it is totally fishy to me. If you going to buy any digital currency or cryptocurrencies it's better to use a trading platform or exchange site. There are many untrusted exchanges and some of them are not legit that's why you should choose a good and reputable exchange or trading platform just like Binance exchange and Bittrex. If I were you do not use the platform that your friend recommended.

Arbitrary trading is a good way to make money with the amount you have right now and since i am not aware from which country you are from there is a scope for huge returns if you are in Argentina as the price of bitcoin is trading at a much higher rate than the rest of the world.

Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197526.0)

I will advise you to ensure that, you spend the capital wisely. The website you just showed has no reputation as I search the internet. Its better to invest on what you have trust in and not any how garbage. Never invest into what you can't see as a progressive project, there are many active project to invest or choose Bitcoin to invest in.

I will give him the same suggestion. There is no benefit at investing in such projects. It is good to have options and watching the digital market expanding, but it is hard to trust and rely on new ones. If someone want s to make good amounts in a working way, he should just go for bitcoin. It has never been a disappointment. Even after being lashed by world’s most powerful countries from time to time, it is progressing.

That will just be an unnecessary risk he will be taking there using that platform that is not very much popular for such amount of money, the best platform he would have just gone for first is Binance platform, though Binance platform is not very much safe completely too, but just to give them the benefit of doubt after they have been hacked and the promised they have made not to ever allow that to happen again.

If the op is not even going to be into trading, if he is only buying coins for storing it as future investment, maybe in bitcoin, it is best that he buys the coin through Binance exchange and then store it in a private wallet, where he knows that he can have his own private key for proper control and a wallet that will be difficult for hackers to reach.

There are a lot of trusted and legitimate sites and platforms where you can buy bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency. Good thing you asked for an opinion first before doing anything crazy. $10,000 is still a huge amount of money, it is best for you to buy in trusted trading platforms such as Binance, houibi, okex, or any other trusted and tested site.
