Title: I paid for bitcoins, balance still zero Post by: skyskraper on November 15, 2011, 10:24:35 PM I used dialcoin to buy my first bitcoins and got a reciept but nothing happened. Then I signed up to get a donation and still my balance is zero and there is no activity in my Bitcoin app. What am I doing wrong?

And I clicked the blockcount website and a number came up. What do I do now? Thanks for the help!

If that's not the same as the number that came up on the site, then your client hasn't seen the transaction yet. Just wait a while, it should pop up. (Also, "connections" should probably be > 8 )
