I've been looking at all the altcoins in terms of their use cases and consider IOTA the most useful. And please give us reasons for saying so.

Without the site, can you share the reason why you think IOTA is the most useful?
(I'm not going to open as it appears to me that you are promoting it. No offense)

I only know IOTA as being fast.

Right now, I see Dash as one of the most useful (if not the most). It's also fast/scalable, cheap, and you have an option to send privately. The team has also done well in terms of mass adoption (look at how they've pentrated Venezuela). They have come a long way from being a privacy-centric coin.

Ethereum. When it comes to utility in crypto-space the first coin that should pop up is ethereum. Ethereum is the backbone of the cryptocurrency industry as without it most of the successes the industry has achieved in regards to utility of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology won't had be possible. Ethereum created the way for most of the tokens today. Without ethereum blockchain, ICO, smart contract, dApp (games, exchange etc) won't have becomes a household name in the industry.

Take no credit from ethereum as irrespective of other projects with the same ideology are popping daily, it still stands it ground as the king of all altcoins. Ethereum made everything (including adoption of the technology) more easier while bitcoin is the forerunner of the industry, bringing in exposure, ete.

I think the answer is ethereum (ERC20). As you can see that most ICO projects use the ethereum platform, so I personally think Altcoin Ethereum is the best altcoin in terms of its users as well as smart platforms with several projects at the moment and I won't say that IOTA is the most useful.

litecoin, monero and many more are better coins than IOTA.

Altcoin predicate that is very useful in IOTA in your opinion can not be concluded only from 1 article. Many other altcoins are used by large industries, not just IOTA. Ethereum remains a very useful altcoin and adopted by many parties. Examples also include XRP which is used by several world banks to overcome expensive clearing fees.

Before telling your own opinion about the best altcoin, would you care to add some valid points on why you think it was the best for you? I have the same choice as others for ethereum.

Although the ICO days were completely over and gone but it didn't stop Ethereum to continue innovating. It didn't even die after the fall down of ICOs. Without the smart contract, IMO it can even survive and remain at the top rank.

I think the coin or top 10 coin marketcap has a utility. But there is one that interests me, this token is indeed not an old token but rather a new one. The product offered is very interesting, that is, securing and certifying digital files that you have to avoid plagiarism or data theft. This project is V-ID. As we know, in this internet world anything we can meet and claim as ours. Especially with regard to files that are a work, masterpiece. With the service from V-ID, you can secure files and give them certificates as patents. If at any time someone claims it are theirs, you can sue them. The fee used to perform the service uses its token called VIDT. sorry I'm not promoting but just to inform, nothing more.

Not iota, ethereum is the most useful over all hands down,its smart contract adoption is like nothing i have never seen before, many tokens are scam accepted but this doesn't even turn away new developers from using the smart contract

Without a doubt, hands-down, for-sure, the best altcoin platform is ETHEREUM.

Eth is a smart contract cryptocurrency platform that has potential to change the world for good. The good part is it's already reaching mass adoption levels and is now being used by a decent number of companies. But thats not all,  the ETH dev team is also actively improving the platform and even plan to launch ETH version 2.0 soon! I'd buy more ETH now if I were you.

Dash is my favourite one. Right now the price is looking really great. You can launch a masternode, use Dash as a payment method, use Dash for transfers among community. Transaction fees are silly cheap, if you compare them to BTC.

Its always been ETHEREUM for GAS. every time you spend something, you will need ETH just to send. That's the use case unlike the ones that is just FAST and anon. It only serves for those who like it but why would you want fast and anon if that is just its feature when you can XMR which already serves the community in the dark web.

EOS for CPU, RAM and NET.  Its a utility and this is why you need EOS for you to be able to work with dapps. This utility case are the ones that makes is demand to which is can have higher value.

In crypto market top 20 altcoins are good to invest on crypto market so we can invest long term also and majority of the peoples are invest top 5 altcoins or profitable tokens. So we mainly focused the BTC because we split to invest two or more platform it makes good profit. So Ethereum and Binance is my favourite investment in current scenario.

Now you can not choose the best altcoin. it is very dangerous. You must always consider the risks. believing only in one altcoin you can lose everything in one day

I still think that Eth is the best alt both in terms of utility and value and do not forget its future  growth potential, i am sure as soon as the upgrades start rolling out in early 2020 Eth will start booming to the moon.

There are a lot of top listed altcoins having a varied utility. Iota being the most used in my view. This is getting used all around, particularly in cars, appliances, sound systems and the list goes on. This adds value through its tremendous contribution.

Next one is the ethereum ,this has made the application development process more easier than that of other blockchain which support app development over the platform. Beyond this my usage of cryptocurrencies were much into gambling, upon the same I find ethereum, Litecoin, bitcoin, doge, bitcoin and xrp to be the best of utility.

I've heard of iota but never owned or used any.  As far as being fast (I'm assuming you mean confirmation times), most alts are much faster than bitcoin itself and usually cheaper too.

I have been a dash fan for a long time now, but I never used it to buy anything.  Unfortunately there aren't many use cases for it, since there are only a handful of online shops which accept it.  I think it would be an excellent currency like many cryptos, but it's all a matter of getting businesses to take it.  Until they do, its going to remain an investment coin only.

Ethereum, TRX, USDT are the best coins which I feel that maximum these coins are being utilised in the Exchanges to make the profit still this coin rolls up to down all the time and USDT helps to retain the profit.
I crazy to look more replies what all wishes to utilise on trading sites.

IOTA as the most useful coin in the space? :D

Every coin is in a competition in its own space. You can't say if a stablecoin is more useful than a privacy coin! They are doing a different thing and both have their use.
Probably ETH is the most useful because other projects are built on it. Many coins would not exist if ETH wasn't there like all altcoins would not exist if BTC was not there first.

I still think that we should only compare coins in their little areas of expertise. A centralized coin can't be better or worse from a decentralized coin. For me it will be worse but for someone who likes centralization it will be better and we will both be biased in opinion. 

I've heard about USDT and IOTA but unfortunately, I know little about these coins because I personally haven't invested and held these coins in my portfolio before. However, I think ethereum will be the altcoin which is best in terms of utility because of large support.

Reading Your post I understand that I have already forgotten that there are other coins besides bictoin and Ethereum).Judging by the capitalization of this cryptocurrency, $ 739,934,347 USD behind it is clearly something interesting! I will consider it as an investment.

Lots of useful latcoin and more than IOTA. if you read the article and the article states the IOTA as the most valuable Altcoin, maybe the article was deliberately created to create positive news on the IOTA so that the price of the IOTA can go up and many are interested. The most valuable Altcoin you can check in the top 10 actcoin rankings in CMC.

As a matter of fact every utility tokens are good, the definition of utility tokens means a digital token of cryptocurrency that is issued in order to fund development of the cryptocurrency and that can be later used to purchase a good or service offered by the issuer of the cryptocurrency sold utility tokens as a method of fundraising for the start-up, for example SIA and BAT tokens

Nano coin is best for utility why because this coin is fees are less and transactions are very fast . i personally prefer nano coin

This is a weird question as they are not all comparable and they all are trying to solve different problems... (Well some of them are tackling the same issues). A better question would be that which altcoin is best suited to fix a specific problem that you had in mind.

If you think your point is correct then compare Ethereum with Iota you will see that ETH is the most useful utility token out there, iota is not bad but its league is nothing close to ETH usefulness

Altcoin Which is the best in terms of utility? I think ETHEREUM. You can see how this project developed from the beginning until now. It can be said to be very good in terms of price and platform too. even the majority of users and developers always use the ethereum smart platform to develop their projects. I, as a user, am very confident in the potential of Altcoin ethereum in the future.

I don't have a best one because utility tokens all have real use cases that is what makes them better, chelle coin is the next one on my mind, the first deflationary token and real estate investing token as well, in few more years this type of coins will always have higher values

in my opinion the best altcoin in terms of utility is ethereum and ripple. I chose ethereum because almost all ICO platforms use eth and I also choose ripple because with the technology that is owned by ripple we can exchange easily with local currency. ripple technology can also make it easier for us to exchange ripples with currencies in the world because ripple is already connected with banking services in the world.

you are wrong again. Ripple campaign is associated with banks and has some use and implementation, but the XRP coin is not used by banks. when will you understand this?

For token utilities, in my opinion the best is BNB Coin. Even though it already has its own blochchain, BNB Coin is still a token utility for Binance exchangers. With BNB Coin, we can participate when binance organizes IEO and IEO from Binance is one of the profitable IEO
