I'm sure that many of you already heard of Utopia that is going to ruin social networks and messengers due to its high level encryption. But what is important for me is mining and holding its coin. I've heard that people believe it will become the 3rd most valuable coin after BTC and ETH. But for now it wasn't even released on the market as I know so why such idea came to someone's mind?

Moreover developers names are kept in secret so have no idea what could happen next. They're big investors or they're just joking? Anyway such soft had to appear and give us the opportunity to see how something new was born.

Any ideas?

As you have said it wasn't even released then why think that it's going to be the 3rd most valuable coin? such claims should be supported with valid proofs but it looks like you are over speculating with this project.
I didn't even heard of it before and how could you say "people" are believing in it. Do you have an actual number on how many people already know this project?

Social networks are dying, any cryptoprojects building one are way too late, like 2 years atleast lol and messenger, well telegram already has that covered

I see, currently the progress of this project is in beta, and they need tester, promoter and assistant and will be pay in btc for participant. (https://beta.u.is/)

Its only a speculation but its hard to make it in the top 3.  I actually i may not heard of that currency until now .
maybe the developer is popular and well known in crypto industry thats why they are confident with such a claim that they can get easily in the top 3 list. but until its realese we dont know if its real to happen.

If I kept a penny for how many times I have heard about an obscure project being the next coin with the greatest potential by shillers, I would have been a very rich man indeed, when you want to mention a coin that we might be interested in, the least you can do it provide links to back it up so we can do our own research, Moreover the use case of the coin doesn't seem to be that strong from what you mentioned, "Hodling" and "Mining" it's coin is technically not a usecase.

which was this Scamcoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1368118.0) done by that woman who just spent the ICO money travelling to conferences basically, then ditched the project : / lol

I also just heard the name of this UTOPIA coin. After I searched for coinmarketcap it turned out that there wasn't and wasn't registered. If you claim to be the most valuable coin number 3 there should be supporting articles that you embed. Obviously this is only speculation to raise the name of this UTOPIA coin. The name of the developer alone is not published. This will lead to the SCAM coin because it is not clear who the developer and the team are.

There are so many speculations in every project aiming to be on the top coin in the market. Also, there’s no guarantee to make this on top 3. It's just now I heard this coin and as you have mentioned it doesn't even release in the market so how come to be a valuable coin next to eth. Well, we didn't know yet what will happen about this coin so in my view I doubt it to be on the top list.

Interesting idea, and i appreciate that people are working on other solutions to current chats. However the graphical user interface is horrible like it would be from 90's. Most of those "windows" could easily be hidden and replaced by menu trees. It's just too offputtingly complex to look at that i can't see this going viral. Nor i can see easy usability as a phone application.

I just heard about the Utopia project and this is a social media network, but I don't know in detail about Utopia, and how does it become a top coin if the team isn't there, the community isn't there especially the white paper?

I just checked out the project. Looks like just another P2p messenger we've seen in the past. I also saw that the platform is currently undergoing its beta testing phase ahead of the upcoming platform release before the end of 2019. That might be the reason for the delay. Overall, the project looks promising but Social media niche for blockchain hasn't exactly been successful. Keybase changed my view though. I'll keep an eye on it.

In my view it can be promising as none of the existing messengers provide real anonymity. But on the other hand I can't be 100% sure as it's a closed source. Moreover, I agree that UI looks too old for a new project. Anyway, we'll see what will happen next, especially after its full release.

I took part in beta, but what you say about its coin is impossible. It's not even released on the market so how do you think it will become one of the leading coins? Maybe in 10 years or something when no one will take care of it anymore. So you'd better not believe anything you see on web.

That is what they call "speculation" making assumptions about something of which you believe,  people always make speculations but whether it will become reality is left for future to decide,
My own concern is why the team remain anonymous, is there any particular reason for that, anyways, am just hearing about the project for the first time, I will do my research and see if I will be interested, it will be good idea to follow their social media for updates.

Of course, everyone is welcome to speak of their next altcoin with a great potential. But please fall in line. The line is very long now. Thousands of altcoin shillers have come before you bringing with them their next altcoins with a great potential as well. Crypton will have to prove itself first before the community will give its praise. The words "next" and "great potentials" are too overused that they mean nothing anymore. We have too many dead coins that have "great potentials" as well.

I would stay away from any kind of new altcoins as of now. No altcoin has showed a positive trend for a very long time, and I hardly doubt that this one would make it, at least it is not the next Binance IEO launchpad coin.

Are you serious? Or did you look at market value of top 10 coins?

What make you think that what he said is impossible is also the same thing that makes him believed in what he believes in the project, everyone has their own view to projects and based on what he understand about the project, the development and the product they are working on, he might foresee that the project would be a very good project in the future, of which the future maybe tomorrow, next, 2 years’ time or even the 10 years’ time, so you should not judge too by thinking it will not be possible.

People have every right to speculate, and when you look at bitcoin too at its early stage, many people had speculated then that bitcoin will increase by 10000x when it was still 1 dollar, but many people didn’t believe too, which you are a living witness to bitcoin today, so don't think it is impossible for this coin too to achieve the expectation of the OP.

Why not while it's a beta test? Which means that mining is also in beta. Wait for a full release, continue mining and everything will be only yours. I also believe that in a row with a release of the soft coin will be also released.

I am super excited to see the upcoming projects. Though I didn't hear about this one. But don't hesitate to update us when the new coin is released. :)

This is not the first time that am hearing about unknown projects being promoted as the next coin with the greatest potential by people like you. This is a space where nothing is constant and even if the project is innovative as you want us to believe, there are still many things that can happen and delay its progress and acceptance. Anyway, you will do more by dropping the link to the project website so that everyone of us we have the opportunity to do personal research over the project.

Really? Utopia, the name sounds unfamiliar. Do they have a white paper or the website let be go though the project. And if its really a potential one, I invest in it.

Agree, it takes time to verify that what they are saying right now is true. What makes many new projects fail is that the developer team isn't solid in producing the product. A good new project will certainly be in demand by the market and to prove this, it takes a long time

I saw that on Gate.io there are stake earnings of this coin with a good percentage. since this is a good exchange, I added this coin to myself in the watch list on coinmarketcap. I will observe its development

I think this is an unclear project. They were not released and the name of the miner was also kept secret. I'm not sure this will be the third valuable coin after BTC and ETH.

By the way, beta is ending today and now you can join a full released version. But developers promise to continue keeping in touch with users. So if you have any offers or found a bug - you still can be awarded as I understood.

I also hadn't found anything on the coin. Just the info that we can mine it and everything that will be mined will remain on our account. But how can I use it?
