Post by: dkbit98 on October 31, 2019, 10:16:22 PM
Some of you maybe remember this Faketoshi guy Bilal Khalid who claims he is Satoshi Nakamoto.
He has been exposed but still he is moving with his 'project' and just released his first video interview.

His website: satoshinrh.com

Maybe he can team up with his twin brother Craig Faketoshi Wrong, and they would make a perfect team

A lot of people claim themselves as Satoshi to get the attention of many people and to get the benefits that they wanted but little did they know that they are just making their life miserable, why? because people will find a way to prove that they are the fake one and besides they can't even show a single proof that they are Satoshi. Also, if he is Satoshi why would he choose to  hide himself for a long time and decided to show up? what is the specific reason? does he really think that people will believe in him just because he has knowledge about bitcoin? don't let yourself be deceive by him and by his words because he isn't Satoshi.

Bitcointalk account is locked. Must send valid proof that can be easily and publicly verified to unlock account.

Signed message from PGP key. Or signed messages from bitcoin addresses used in genesis block up to block 170.

It's possible Satoshi may have lost the private keys or wallets, but he'd never lose access to his PGP key. Satoshi did remind everyone, never to delete wallets. He would have kept a backup somewhere.

What in the blue hell was this guy thinking? in the interview he looks like he's high as a kite, I want to know what kind of drugs is this guy on? No way in hell is he the real Satoshi, you'd have a better time convincing me that Dorian Nakamoto is the real Satoshi. Didn't sir Dorian say he's no longer involved with that ( referring to blockchain & Bitcoin)? Dorian Nakamoto said he was a defense contractor who worked on cruise missiles or something, sounds like a real life "Tony Stark" if you ask me!

I was young when those movies came out but I remember them like it was yesterday. "Mike Myers" should have won an Oscar for playing all those different character roles in the Austin Powers series. Some memorable quotes " Breath taking, I shall call him, mini me (played by: Verne Troyer)! Come Mr. Biggles-worth". :D Or my favorite part of the movies were when the women all had sexualized names like Alotta Fagina, Ivana humpalot, and the two japanese chicks, Fook me & fook yu. Or fat bastard, the Scotsman, "get in my bell lay".

CSW likes to tell you that Signing does not prove ownership. However, it does prove more than not Signing, that is the point here.

If you are actually Satoshi Nakamoto you can Sign and Verify something. The real Satoshi had a GPG key. This can also be used to prove identity with a Signed and Verifiable message.

This is Satoshi Nakamoto's actual public key ...

He/She/They own the above corresponding private key, they are like a pair of keys, which he/she/they could use to sign a message which the community can verify as a proof of being actual Satoshi Nakamoto.

CSW has verified absolutely nothing, to date, and has instead only presented mostly false, backdated and/or plagiarized evidence and lies in a court of law. Its not looking good for CSW. Don't ask me - look at the court case notes and the judges opinion on CSW.

BSV is based on lies.

Bitcoin is Financial Cryptography. Your posts here clearly indicate to me that you need to learn how Message Verification works in Bitcoin, be that BTC, BCH or BSV. It works the same way in all of them.

...

Herewith (again), my own valid example ...

It can be verified on BTC, BCH and BSV because the BCH and BSV blockchains contain copies of the actual transactions I made from the addresses in 2010, before the BCH and BSV forks.

...snip...

As far as Bilal Khalid's 'My Reveal' is concerned possibly the funniest part of the back story was when he "rang the support guys."

... "One morning in 2010, I woke up and my Acer had a blank screen.  I thought, “What’s going on?”  The night before, I had just moved wallet.dat file after all the major tests on the laptop and everything was working fine.  As I mentioned before, I had a habit of not leaving any trace and I was over-the-top cautious as I knew I was dealing with files that can be traced through recovery software, so I deleted the files securely and permanently from my Fujitsu Laptop.

My gut instinct was saying, “Don’t delete it!”  As Bitcoin was in its early stages, my understanding was that copying the same wallet.dat to two different computers initially seemed to work, but if you continue to use Bitcoin client to send Bitcoin, the two copies will be out of sync.

I was heavily involved with testing the client at this point.  I felt that the Fujitsu was on its last legs and I didn’t want to mess with the chain of blocks.  Therefore, I transferred the file and formatted the Fujitsu’s hard drive permanently.  This was done after I had performed rigorous tests on the Acer Aspire laptop, as I wanted to ensure that everything was running smoothly before I removed the data permanently on the Fujitsu.

The morning I saw something was not right with the display, I rang the support guys.   They asked me to send the laptop in as it was under warranty.  They said they’d have a look.

Nightmare! ... "

The problem with all the Faketoshis is the paradigm shift.

They claim to be Satoshi but then reveal motivations for the revelation that are not in line with what Satoshi said in his messages.

Like BitcoinFX said:

Use the wallet keys or PGP key to sign a message and we'll believe Satoshi.

The whole bitcoin system is designed around psuedo anonymity, cryptographic messaging and private keys.

The only way to even start to prove your identity is with a signed message.

I agree that this is how it should start, but honestly, I don't think that it would be an ultimate proof for me. It would prove that this person was very close to Satoshi psychologically (since Satoshi entrusted this person with the keys) or literally (so this person could steal access). But not that it's necessarily Satoshi Nakamoto. Craig, for instance, might succeed in opening the wallet soon (although I doubt that), but I would rather believe that the real Satoshi died and Craig stole his ideas and money. So to sum this up, signing a message is necessary, but not sufficient proof that a person is Satoshi, at least for me.

Satoshi had his email hacked and this forum has been hacked three times. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4405796.0)

PGP keys would be the primary identification. A bitcoin signed message almost as good.
You'd hope that Satoshi practiced good practice regarding safeguarding the PGP keys.
But it would have to accompany a knowledge of verifiable bitcoin history and development.

Expect many more Satoshi impostors will come specially if Bitcoin become bullish. I just wonder if someday the true Satoshi will appear and how will we going to know that he is the real one because of these former actors? maybe except of course if they don't have any other crypto that they will going to introduce as most of the present impostors are clearly have their own self agenda that is why they are tried to foolish the crypto community.

There's also another fake Satoshi that recently appeard called Jorg Molt, he was found at the SIMS convention at the Symbiosis International university recently claiming to be one of the original Bitcoin co-founders and in possession of over 250,000 BTC.

We should really stop paying these guys ANY attention unless they sign a message from the original satoshi private keys.

How funny that a lot of people are already claiming to be Satoshi. People don't actually believe them yet they still continue doing it because we're giving them the attention they want. They're using the name of Satoshi Nakamoto to gain attention. If we just ignore them, they'll eventually stop what they're doing because no one is listening.

This Faketoshi scammer James Caan aka Bilal Khalid is being activated again, and he released new ''exclusive'' 2 minute interview with some guy called Steve Gillen.
Listening to this short video he claims some new user friendly app will be released with a wallet and pay app card, that can be used like any banking card, and they are shipping worldwide  :D
In this blog post they claim that Satoshi lived in Doncaster, England in time when The Times famous article was released in January 3, 2009.
In next blog article they are going to release ''three never-before-published'' clues about Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity....

Quote
In my first meeting with James Caan on July 5, 2019, he told me he took the headline he encrypted from The Times’ January 3, 2009, print edition available in Doncaster, where he lived.

Strange thing is that Ivy McLemore author of book Finding Satoshi is somehow connected with James Caan aka Bilal Khalid, but he is probably looking to increase sales with this fake sensational news.
I don't know anything about this guy or his book, but beware of him spreading false information about Satoshi.

His website: satoshinrh.com
This website is not available anymore and it redirects to nakamotoinstitute.org

Watch out for this scammers, they are going to release some new shitcoin calling it Bitcoin v1 and they plan to sell people some cards for that!

Is he using an alias, or did he legally change his name? I'm not sure where the name "James Caan" popped up from.

I think that he legally changed his name, probably because it sounds better for his new scam project.
There is a second short video interview released on this blog article from July 5 with deceiving title - The Book and Audiobook Craig Wright Doesn't Want Anyone to Read or Hear!
Interesting part in this article, apart from silly claims and statements from Bilal Khalid about new mining  of his v1 shitcoin, is PDF document letter (https://download-files.wixmp.com/ugd/6e2255_e2872246794a464796499a08365fa83e.pdf?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJpc3MiOiJ1cm46YXBwOmU2NjYzMGU3MTRmMDQ5MGFhZWExZjE0OWIzYjY5ZTMyIiwic3ViIjoidXJuOmFwcDplNjY2MzBlNzE0ZjA0OTBhYWVhMWYxNDliM2I2OWUzMiIsImF1ZCI6WyJ1cm46c2VydmljZTpmaWxlLmRvd25sb2FkIl0sImlhdCI6MTY1ODc4MzQwNSwiZXhwIjoxNjU4ODE5NDE1LCJqdGkiOiI4YjA2NGZhYzEyYmMiLCJvYmoiOltbeyJwYXRoIjoiL3VnZC82ZTIyNTVfZTI4NzIyNDY3OTRhNDY0Nzk2NDk5YTA4MzY1ZmE4M2UucGRmIn1dXSwiYXR0YWNobWVudCI6eyJmaWxlbmFtZSI6IkRPSi1KYW1lcyBDYWFuIDIwMjAgTGV0dGVyIHRvIENvbW1vZGl0aWVzIEZ1dHVyZXMgVHJhZGluZyBDb21taXNzaW9uLnBkZiJ9fQ.FlAtPrAB_EnpZvCOzyE1n4XrBIq4tLdfoInzhoU6qJM) from August 24, 2020, sent by James Caan (Bilal Khalid)
to Chairman Heath P. Tarbert as a request to appear before the Commodities Futures Trading Commission on the topic of Bitcoin.

One more blog post released today with Time Stamps from the BadCryptoPodcast: Is This the REAL Satoshi Nakamoto?
https://www.findingsatoshibook.com/post/time-stamps

I really don't know who in the right mind would believe anything this guy says, but people like Ivy McLemore obviously believe this fantasy stories or they are intentionally part of this scheme.

I just wonder if someday the true Satoshi will appear
I guess he will appear if the need be and if he's alive at the time , maybe still waiting for the right time because Bitcoin is still evolving and on the early stage waiting for fully world wide adoption.

how will we going to know that he is the real one because of these former actors?
In case that happens in time to come , With the way he programed Bitcoin (such a genius) proving himself is just like an ABC because I don't believe someone that evented such technology will be on laxity to not keep his data and things proving his the original creator safe.
Too the way he created Bitcoin don't really requires him to make himself officially known to the public.

One more article is released with more ''evidence'' about alleged Satoshi identity is released, this time called The Telltale Clue.
In one video segment James Caan Faketoshi is saying that he is going to release new coin for everyone that missed the train with Bitcoin   ::)
I posted below image that Ivy McLemore considers as proof confirming that James Caan is Satoshi with this three points:

Quote
-    The fact Caan called me on my iPhone the morning of Sept. 16, 2019, underscores the importance he placed on deleting one word (late) from the draft of a weekly newsletter. Caan is a self-professed extreme introvert, as one might expect Satoshi Nakamoto to be. I can't recall another instance when he called me in the seven months we communicated, although I'm certain it happened more than once.

 -   The reason Caan gave me for the edit – “that we need to be truthful and accurate at all times”  – speaks volumes about the man’s character. I'm a skeptic and a doubting Thomas by nature, yet I never found Caan to contradict himself or change any aspect of his backstory during those seven months. Simply put, he was as meticulous about truthfulness as he was protecting his identity as Satoshi.

 -   It's important to note that the edit Caan requested was not because he was changing his story; it was because I had mistakenly added the word that prompted Caan’s call.

There is even one podcast with Ivy McLemore called Is This the REAL Satoshi Nakamoto?

Wow, this is hilarious! I totally missed this one and only now did it appear at the top of Bitcoin Discussion.

[1] Satoshi wouldn't need to introduce himself like that; as well as knowing that only signatures from known addresses would work as real proof.
[2] Real bad grammatical and spelling mistakes.
[3] Vague statements and buzzwords thrown around without sentences making logical sense.
[4] Usage of number 42.. :D How do you go about that? 'No, we must add one more industry that can benefit from this new ledger. We MUST hit the number 42. For the memes.'

On Bitcointalk, this would totally classify as a shitpost. And I kind of love it. It's a form of entertainment, if you wish.

I’m pretty convinced this guy is not the real Satoshi Nakamoto. If that man/group of developers had not wanted to reveal the identity back then, most probably they wouldn’t flaunt their identity now, for a new coin. I bet this guy is trying his best to persuade people into this apparent ponzi scheme. God mercy those who fall for it.
