There are traders with literally hundreds of millions in DAILY trade volume on Binance.

I don't think any traders here will even come close to winning this challenge.

How about actually releasing a challenge that the little guys can participate in? Maybe something like a Bitcointalk + 3Commas crossover?

yep , totally agree , like now , i joined a trading contest on binance , and i just got ranked 1107th with 19k TomoChain trading.
and i just quit 2 days after, since i see it imposibble, even get 20th rank.
it proves that there a lot of huge whales inside.
and also the rules seems hard , 1 point equal to $100.

I really wonder what the purpose of such contests are.
I have been a user of 3 commas but i won't waste my time on such contests that are easily manipulated by people with  Millions worth of tokens in USD on Binance.

Them trying to let new users believe there is actually a "chance to win" before eating them up with their system of where only those at the top could ever win. Plus, It is their first contest so I suppose I could give them some slack for having such dead rules in their contest.
I also suppose that making a contest with the little guys would actually provide close to zero profit with them though. Since they are called little guys for a reason.

Small traders are less to participate. However, this may attract users of binance to trade while thinking about the prize. $5700 is kinda huge, does the contest over?
It started last November 1st, how many days does the contest cover?

Yeah i think trading contest is a joke because the price is cannot 100% able to predict by the technical analysis, if a group of whales joined this contest and they can move all the market movement just to get the prize. So it means nothing for the small traders.

Apparently, the more trade volume you have, the more points you get(every $100 of trade volume gives you 1 points). A person who is trading with $2K can't simply compete with a person trading with $200K for example in terms of trying to attain points.

As we speak, someone already has 4243 point which is worth $424,300 of trade volume. Now if you just have a few hundred dollars can you really compete with such a person?

The contest is running for one week. It ends in around 4 days

This competition is only for whale traders. Looking at the main criteria winner is, You can't attract more participants here in the forum since the majority of users here are anchovies investors.
Tell CZ to stop this kind of non-sense competition and focus on how will binance remove wash trading in their exchange is able to maintain that same amount of volume. Having a contest is a good idea
to increase the volume but targeting whale investors only will not gonna let you catch them. Remember that whales always follow small fish so that they can feed on it. So why not make a competition that will be suitable
for all kind of traders.

for all kind of traders.

To me ranking the top participants based on something like percentage profit made during the contest period would have been much fair for all participants.

That's one of the criteria. But it needs to have a ration on trading volume too so that it will be fair. For example, if trader A buy worth of 0.002BTC of a certain coin which the price is very volatile and manage to get a 100% profit and trader B buy worth of 1BTC of a coin which the price is not that much very volatile and manage to get a 5-10% profit within the contest period. Then it is not fair for a whale trader to consider the profit rate alone since he can risk a small amount to a high volatility coin compared to whale investors that can't do that. In that scenario, All participants will just do small trade so that they have a chance to have a huge profit percentage with small amount to risk on a high volatility coin.

I suggest getting the ratio of profit percentage to the volume that he trades for that particular profit.

This trading contest with quite large rewards, but unfortunately a contest like this is only suitable to be followed
by whales or big traders. Because small traders are impossible to win this contest, just try reading the criteria to
be a winner in this contest must be the highest trading volume. I don't think it's a good idea to hold a contest like
this, i hope binance should make a contest which can be won by all parties.

It looks like the winner is almost already decided. One dude is so far ahead of the competition that the second and third are fighting among themselves without really caring about the first place considering they are literally less than half of the first spot. This is good for 3commas tbf, never heard of them before in my life but seen a 5700 dollar difference so I decided to check the competition and saw what this was.

Didn't really get it tho, like I saw there was a bot but it is not mainly a trading bot company, it is just a place where you can trade with much more options? Is that it? It would be awesome if someone from 3commas explain what they are in more layman terms so we the idiots could understand what it is for and how they help you with trading.
