Title: VODDs - Frozen account for over 3 weeks. Have they taken all my money?
Post by: Davidvale19933 on November 03, 2019, 05:06:25 PM
I’ve never seen anything like this during the years I have been betting.

Created a VODDs account over 1 month ago and completed KYC etc. before depositing a bit over 50k euros (cant specify the exact number since haven’t had access to my account since 11 October). I made a few bets during a week period all on major soccer markets mostly on SING/IBC and 2 bets on Pinnacle soccer props (corners).

On the 11th of October I wasn’t able to log into the account.

They stated that one bet on Pinnacle (corners bet) was being reviewed due to suspicious betting patterns and that their compliance team would scrutinise the bet, meanwhile my money (only my deposits, since account was is losing) and pending bets on other Asian sportsbooks were still in the account. Of these pending bets most of them have since lost.

The pinnacle bet was 5k,and now instead of voiding the one bet they are attempting to rob all of my money basically due to one or two bets (10% or less) that are “in question” they want to be able to steal 90% of my balance, which is all deposited money.

I have received little to no feedback from the many live chats and they keep saying that your bet is being reviewed by the compliance team, please bear with us. I have been provided with no real information as to why this is happening, how long it will take, the possible outcome or been provided with contact information of higher ups at VODDs.

Well I’ve waited almost a month since I was advised by a third party that VODDs were probably waiting for pinnacle to review the bet. It doesn’t take long to review and either void or accept a single bet and by the day this looks more and more like it's just blatant theft by VODDs.

If anyone out there has any ideas how I can combat this issue or has had a similar experience I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks
Dave

I believe this belongs here as its directly to do with a gambling website.

I have followed up with VODDs (company in question) many times without any luck.

Anyone with any ideas?

Scam accudation board have discussions about a scam gambling site or shady gambling site so this thread belongs to scam accusation since you are accusing a site that they take your money. It can't be a scam site if you ask me but they really are shady in what they do to you. Some gambling sites did very shady things in order to steal money from their players or bettors by telling their players that their account has been ban/block due to violating their rules which you didn't violate any rules at all.

The thread should be fine here.

OP is not considering his story as a scam yet. He just shared it here to somehow get better traffic and reached those who might have the same experience.

I do agree that it's a bit unprofessional that for almost a month, still no signs of positive response from them. I suggest to just continue bumping your concern and extend your patience even how stressful it is.

Well wait for a bit more. If the waiting time exceeds a momth, you could porabably do a legal action against it. Find a few personalities that could probably help you obtain information regarding the current status of your account. It is quite a disappointing customer service based on what you said though.
Scam accudation board have discussions about a scam gambling site or shady gambling site so this thread belongs to scam accusation since you are accusing a site that they take your money.
Op isn't really accusing the site of acaming his money. He's pretty much just making sure if the process generally takes this long and if anyone has had the same experience and what they did in that situation.

Did you mean vodds.com?
They have shared skype support on their announcement topic and you can try with that (if you didn't try that yet).
I had registered their site but never used it.
For your info, I had a long chat with the account vodds.com regarding running a signature campaign. He was very much unprofessional in communication as well.
They seem to be active in Russian announcement topic, you can post a link there and ask vodds.com to respond here. Russian Announcement- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5155995.0

Maybe your account got hacked reason you have no balance anymore on that gambling site.  Or maybe a scam website because you know one thing is for sure when this always happening.  Wherein its either hacked or the owner of the site is a scammer. If i were you try to contact the owner or support because if they respond about your issue it means you have a chance to recover it . In fact its their responsibility because they work on it . Unless if it's not a scam.

Never heard of this site before. Decided to do some research and found this thread from SBR.

Is this your thread op? If so, it seems you have faced similar issues with AsianConnect etc. Can you clarify?

I also have never read or heard that gambling site, if they refuse to address this issue, you need to do legal action, take the advice of the members here that you also create a scam report in the scam sections this is for reference, I have seen admins of gambling sites and ICO addressing the issue when they have a report in the scam sections, also none gamblers can alert their friends who are into gambling.

I have never heard of VODDs before and I will say it's very unprofessional for them to hold such funds for weeks.
If they refuse to solve the problem, you can open a scam accusation thread against them.

That's what I will also suggest too if they really don't want to solve or fix this issue. One of op's reply said that they sent a mail stating that they'll report back once the problem is solved. I might suggest that op should wait a little bit more until they will contact again but if not then it's time to open as scam accusation thread.

He will scam your coins, if you lost your coins on some random untrustful sites then be expected that the money will be gone, don't hope to pay someone who is anynomous to get back your money from anynomous people/ organization, you will only have another lost amount to sum up the bigger lost. Don't ever trust any kind of "claim service" out there, they don't have any enforcement power or having authority to force anyone to repay your loss (just like IRL, even those most famous one are FBI or CIA, they can't arrest anyone in any territory).

I don't think they are from Philippines to be exact but as far as the account of them most likely they are a Russian based gambling site. Furthermore, looking on their account here on bitcointalk they are almost 2 weeks inactive, if you can wait for that long then do but a month of just giving some false hope over a letter isn't trusted at all and I doubt your money will ever get back. This is the address found on their site
"Pareraweg 45, Willemstad, Curaçao
Ole Group International B.V."

Account still frozen and customer service and customer service feedback is non existent at this point

That extremely ill boy can't even clean his mess, and what will be the good thing that'll happen if you contact him, may we know?

Seen it but it was just recently this 8th of November.
