Title: Does any block explorer have a running total Post by: DaveF on November 03, 2019, 09:29:03 PM Yeah, I know this is an odd one.
But all the block explorers I can find have the total BTC in an address as of now. Do any of them have the running totals displayed? So if I looked I would see (as an example): 1-Jan-2019 1.05 In Total 1.05 2-Jan-2019 1.00 In Total 2.05 3-Jan-2019 0.5 Out Total 1.55 20-Jan-2019 0.5 Out Total 1.05 27-Jan-2019 0.25 Out Total 0.8 30-Jan-2019 0.20 In Total 1.0 I could do it by hand but it's 100s and 100s of transactions. Looking to be lazy..... Short version of why: A db server that was running a live accounting of transactions in and out of a single wallet address got corrupted. The total now is wrong. Trying to figure out when it happened. I have what it thinks are the daily totals so I was just going to cross check that. -Dave Title: Re: Does any block explorer have a running total Post by: jackg on November 03, 2019, 09:31:58 PM I'd recommend importing the watching only addresses into electrum? I know you can definitely see the totals there...
If not there's probably an online wallet that'll do it for you. But it's more of a wallet functionality than a block explorer. This is just the balance. All block explorer do that. Can you be more specific? For example, look here this address: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/37ZavWvyJi1jkD7qi5pUrE4Ht2pzcmXSGX Total Received 1.09811591 BTC Total Sent 1.08911591 BTC Final Balance 0.00900000 BTC What exactly are you looking for? What is the difference between your "total B in an address" to its final balance? Title: Re: Does any block explorer have a running total Post by: jackg on November 03, 2019, 10:16:48 PM @bitmover, he's after a running total. So he wants it to say what the address(es) have in them [/b] AFTER[/b] each transaction.
Eg day 1: 0.05 0.05 Day 2: 0.10. 0.15 Second field is running total. I was annoyed that nobody noticed that it was not working properly and was then overthinking it. Thanks for the advice, imported it into electrum and got all I needed. Thanks, Dave |
