Title: Testnet BTC Support
Post by: weidex on November 05, 2019, 01:15:46 PM
Hello, guys

We are going to test our new cross-chain atomic swap widget. If anyone has some testnet BTC and is willing to help us can send them to:

You can just google for testnet bitcoin faucet, find 1-2 working faucets and get some satoshi for your tests.
And when you have finished you can send them back. It should be faster than relying on "donations". The amounts may be small, but that's not important, right?

Edit: I've also sent you some coins

I'm doing it mate. With some help, the procedure will be faster. I mean, on the first faucet there is 12 hours cooldown and the other one is 1 and we need something like 10 BTC so it will be definitely faster. Thanks for understanding :)

we need something like 10 BTC

I'm not sure why you need so big number. For testing small values do work in the same way and for displaying you can adjust the code a little.

If you are in need of large chunks of tBTC you should try to contact either bitaps (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317112) or studio_mining (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1925846). They have lots of tBTC for testing purposes and do give out to users who requests them. Why are you in need of 10 tBTC? You could better try out using regtest mode in Core and can probably mine those 10 BTC easily without spending much time on faucets.

Return back those tBTC once you have tested, to the faucets since it could be useful for someone like you in future. aplistir (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1127715) once had 1 tBTC but someone never returned back. Try to contact and if they do have some btc would probably help you.

I am still not sure why people never return tBTC back to the owner at most of the times ???

I have 5 tBTC on my mobile wallet... I can send it to you if you post a signed message you'll give me the tBTC back once you're finished with your tests. I'm not a tBTC hoarder, but i do develop applications from time to time, so i use the tBTC myself from time to time, and i don't want to have to start mining on the testnet network when i need a fresh batch.

Thanks for your approach mate! But we can't give them back to you because we will use it. Thanks again! I appreciate it!
