I keep seeing posts like this although those coins that they want to sell are available on exchanges. Do you have any reasons why you don't want to sell it on exchanges?

there are many exchange places why you want to sell it here, ? is it possible to trade without going through an exchange at a lower cost, because you are a new user, of course people will use an escrow service to transact with you, how much bitcoin did you ask to exchange for 5 ethereum.?

why don't you just exchange it by yourself? because there is many websites that you can use to exchange your eth to btc without KYC/register
you can use coinswitch as an example because that website is very easy for a newbie to exchange their coins

this is becomes a question, why? Why don't you trade your coins on exchange? It's been asked by the others and it's obvious that OP is putting up something here. He didn't reply, maybe he's busy or maybe he's really up into something and good thing that no one has bite the offer.

It's easy to know if it's ETH and BTC involve because these coins are everywhere. Unless, OP is looking to the exchange fee because it's something high and he wants to spare himself and save from those fees.

When we do talk about fees then its not really that big though for him to opt out on dealing with people on this forum since he can simply
trade or sell off those ETH for BTC on most exchangers yet this pair is available anywhere.We cant really avoid not to think that theres something
fishy about these kind of deals.

Can you post your etherscan link to proof the existence of the 5 eth? talking on telegram before trading is risky to both buyer and seller.

The question is why would you trade your Eth to the people here? Do you know the risk on doing a p2p trade? Since if not but I'm sure you will chances for you to get scammed(not unless you are the one who try to scam here) and best is to trade your Eth to exchangers since it's the most safest and easiest method to do.

First of all, I don't see any reason why you should be asking for such transaction on this section and on the forum. The ETH you're holding is a very popular token and tradable in many exchanges with numerous pairs other than BTC. Why wouldn't you avail yourself of the opportunity of trading on exchanges rather than looking to trade here ?

He didn't respond to anyone who answer him here maybe this is an attempt to caught newbies and this one should needed to be careful with since there are so many safe options on where we can trade our coins and newbies should reach those and avoid doing this risky trades since this would harm them. Now, You can swap your ETh to Btc on new MEW, is hard to find trader with your newbie account.

Many scammers out there will rip you off your ETH. Its better if you hold your ETH or use an exchange to  swap to BTC. It will save you a lot of time and stress and also, security is guaranteed. Do yourself a favor send open an account with a reputable exchange.

What method are you going to use  to sell or trade your ETH to BTC? There have some good methods like escrow or F&F. I like both of them. But it's totally depends on you which one will you follow? I don't understand, if you have 5 ETH, you must know the basics like selling ETH to BTC. You just need to set up an account of any exchange, then deposit ETH on it and sell them to BTC.

I think he find some escrow in this forum, Because he is not active in past 7 days. Nowadays 5 ETH is 900 USD so they clearly analyse the current scenario and perfect action. Etherum to Bitcoin is a easy transaction so it make more dought in this statement, many scam posts are available in the market so we just skip these kind of statement

Trading fee and escrow fee might be at the same rate, and I don't find it more convenient trading with someone unless if doing this transaction with a reputable member to save yourself from escrow service and of course the OP will send the Eth first.
