Allthough what Chromia is about is everything else but 'old guard' - the whitepaper is well worth a read. Chromia's relational blockchain approach is a cutting edge approach based on realistic real life requirements and parameters instead of some ideology. Basically, I heard the Chromis project name but never researched it. Maybe I will start my investigation after you create a full ANN thread with proper information! It's a thread in Code: Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins) > Tokens (Altcoins) IIRC I originally posted it to "Announcements (Altcoins)" but moderator moved it to tokens. Which I kind of disagree with -- while CHR token is now ERC20, the platform is going to be completely independent of Ethereum. But not worth arguing about, I guess.
