Title: Trading simulator about cryptocurrency
Post by: Motorista on November 06, 2019, 03:04:30 PM
Is there any trading simulator in trading or a game that you could practice trading about bitcoin or cryptocurrency?
So beginners could start trading without any hesitations.

TradingView[1] has a paper trading option, whereas they'd give you $100,000 in test funds for you to play with.

For information about this: https://www.tradingview.com/wiki/Paper_Trading

You can try out Wall Street Survivor (https://www.wallstreetsurvivor.com/) or How The Market Works (https://www.howthemarketworks.com/). Some of the few trading sims that I know. If you don't particularly like the said trading sites, you can just look up and do your own research about them. It's literally the digital age, the internet can be accessed easily with your own very hands. Goodluck with trying it out though, but don't expect that everything you learned in simulators could be used in the real thing.

Like a sort of crypto-trading platform with a demo account. Yes, it's really good to test strategies before going live.

You can try their testnet version here: (not promoting it)

a) Bitmex (https://testnet.bitmex.com/)
b) Bybit (https://testnet.bybit.com/)

Remember, once you have done simulations to feel the trading experience, it doesn't mean you have to go live here. It's all depends on you.

Spend time researching the best trading platforms around and yours to decide what to choose.

The testnet version of Bitmex is fine if you're trying to learn the site's interface which is a very good idea if you plan on using the main site in the future for leveraged trades, but there's relatively little activity and volume on the testnet site and I've found that you typically get a better experience on something like TradingView, where you're able to use all the tools available on the site and the many pairs as well.

I also typically don't recommend newer traders to use leverage, because the majority of people new to leverage end up overleveraging and getting liquidated very quickly, though it does seem like most of the sites offering demo accounts are also leveraged trading sites.

there are many who provide demo accounts for bitcoin trading, some even give trading point prizes that can be made into cash, you can search for it on google, I haven't played a demo account in a long time so I don't know about its development, but my advice is better to play in a real account even with a small capital, because trading is also for practicing psychology.

Try E-toro. It's a mobile app that gives you an actual feel on how to trade, not just crypto but other markets as well. And there's no pressure since you're not going to put in money yet. Though I've tried it and for me, you'll learn more when you do actual trades. It's different when you don't have anything on the line and you just tend to go gung-ho with your orders. Don't get too used to simulators since it's quite different when you're dealing with real money already.

Probably a nice way to just get the feel or to see how things work. But practicing with small amounts works more for me.

E-toro would be great for beginners who wants to try and experienced trading because they have a demo account which it is a free risk and you will actually feel on how to trade, so it will be good for beginners that they will not have any hesitations to try trading in cryptocurrencies. I know that it is user-friendly and you can used it through mobile phones and laptop, so it will be suitable for everyone.

There are pretty much number of trading platforms that offers trials that are using different trading strategies that might suit you. There is e-toro and  it could bevery suitable for beginners because it's automated and isn't that hard to use for a beginner. But as a beginner, you should also consider studying how trading works because its still your strategy and is in your hand where you're tradung relies in the end, tradung platforms are just tools the work is still yours.

I'm looking for a game before that can help me explain to my sister crypto trading and I came with altcoin fantasy crypto trading trainer were it say you can earn while trading and playing though just a penny. But the reward is just an additional since learning is what we're aiming. Some mobile apps just have ads or need some in-app purchase after so it's better to try in some browser. There are many simulator just try where you can understand the process and techniques easily.

Actually a lot of trading simulators, you can search on Google with the keyword "simulator crypto trading". Or you can use https://coinmarketgame.com/ and recently launched a new mobile-based trading simulator https://paper.trade/. Well from some sites that I refer, there are several sites that are paid and free, make sure you look at site feedback before starting to use the trading simulator.

There are many exchanges that allow you to trade with a demo account and familiarize yourself with their platform, just be careful a demo account is a good way to see if your strategy is any good but it will never replace actual trading experience, when you are trading as a practice you will never get worried about the losses you are incurring because you know that money is not real.

But once you begin to trade for real making a trade will be many times harder especially if you have been losing money for some time as you will begin to doubt yourself and the methodology you have chosen to trade the markets.

Etoro (https://www.etoro.com/) provide practice account to trade without risking your money, not only crypto you can try different other financial assets with them but I really hate their fees on withdrawals when you are trading with real money.

Weltrade (https://weltrade.com/) is another one that doesn't require verification and you can deposit with crypto, trade crypto in demo account for free and also support meta trader softwares.

You just choose trading simulators provided by many people I think it's easy to find, I myself when I was a beginner and want to learn trading using this site https://coinmarketgame.com/ in my opinion, I understand more there than in the appeal other, so it's up to you to choose which one you can.
