Title: Tradewell.exchange advertising fake Libra purchase + involved in multiple fraud
Post by: 1miau on November 06, 2019, 11:29:38 PM
Tradewell claims to be a crypto exchange and is offering to purchase Facebook's libra coin:

(hint: Libra is not launched, it's a SCAM)

The announcement asks to purchase Libra coins on tradewell exchange (https://www.tradewell.exchange/, SCAM!)

I did some research, there are tons of reports referring to a fake exchange called Tradewell.io, the site is down so I assume Tradewell.exchange is closely operated by the same scammers or at least associated. Tradewell.exchange seems to be relatively new and there are mostly bad reports about Tradewell.io.

Seems like Tradewell.exchange is their new Scamsite: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/tradewell.exchange

Scammed people are describing how they were scammed: Firstly, they were told it's possible to invest in a new cryptocurrency (Norwegian crypto, Swedish crypto) and need to deposit money for that (250$ like the suspected Libra Scam).
Few examples:

Strong SCAM accusation, don't use!

But are there real traders in that exchange? If you will look at their exchange page, some trading activity is going on. They have a lot of trading pairs also. But never encounter a user here that is using this tradewell. I've seen one of my old coins also but unfortunately I won't risk sending my coins to this exchange given this cloudy background.

Well, the greed to get rich or no background knowledge about the cryptos often leads people in that situation. These are the same people who perceive cryptos as a path to doubling their money.

That all can be faked man. Like the trading activities are just silly counters and nothing more. Thanks for bringing this up OP.

Bulgarian scam exchange production incorporated on commonwealth of Dominica.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines to be precise.
Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, 1010, Beachmont, Kingtown to be exact, what a small world it is.... (https://www.fca.org.uk/news/warnings/tradewell-bridgehold-ltd)

What do you, a token holder, do to track down the anonymous Digital Gold Ltd. team that "consists of highly skilled and experienced group of experts in finance, banking, legal, wealth management, IT and blockchain industry"?
Do you go to their registered office in the St Vincent and Grenadines? That's Suite 305 in the Griffith Corporate Centre, an address shared by many controversial companies? It is regrettable to deceive people. Before conducting a transaction, there must be a double checking, whether it's from the official Facebook news or a trusted cryptocurrency news site. I only heard that Facebook will issue a crypto currency named Libra and for more details I still don't know.

What is interesting is that they offer us to BUY this fake Libra BETA as Doge coin... along with Bcash and other 'top cryptos' like they say.
250 usd = 89,285 coins
I just noticed that on image that op provided.

Ah, so after lots of libra clone sites have been shut down (maybe most libra related domain are not available already) and well, most people are aware of it, then now, these scammers already listed the coins on their so-called exchange trying their best to fool people :D.

After this, I don't know what idea they would come up with.

Yeah, makes no sense at all and it's another red flag.  :D
Why should official Libra coins have a ticker "DOGE" even if it's Beta. ^^

Exactly don't know when all these libra related scam attempt will come to an end but most funny thing is that its already been a favorite coin of scammers. Scammers are trying every single way to steal peoples money by showing that they are the real authority of "Libra".

I don't  think that Mark Zuckerberg gonna get happy after seeing that already "Libra" sale is going on,,, :)
